  1. sheesh.. *dude*.. isn't this a fate worse than death? you tell me..

    So....what's new, GSC?

Yes, congrats, yet again, Raf :) Plus, the official Greasspt Squirrel will graduate with a bachellor's in math, minor in chemistry in about a month.. a degree.. that's almost like labor for a child, is it not? One bachellor's.. and a Master's in the "oven".. the university want me. Hopefully they'll offer a teaching assistantship.. that's what I want to do.
  3. There is somebody who still prays in the night that you'll friggin wake up.. yeah.
  4. I was going to say something rather "personal" to da waygb staff.. friggin moron.. you know who I am. pm me and I'll try to give you a clue.. if you can't "figure it out".. pm means "private message".. as in, go to my profile, hit the little "send a message" button.. I know something you don't.. if you grow a stinking backbone.. well, your outcome might be far different.. and if you do, I won't reveal a damn thing.. whether you replied or not.. I'm good about that kind of thing.. It's really.. your last damn chance here.. If you need any further confirmation.. your'e the sad bastard who signed for the flowers..
  5. maybe he could put a copy of atheletes of da spirit on his resume. Do you suppose some big outfit on broadway will clamor to his door to produce some kind of song and dance show? hmm. I can't remember the names on the credits.. who actually was the executive producer? Wasn't it the fox? it would make sense, in a really twisted way..
  6. I dunno. I think if one has a resume, references.. qualifications.. no. You won't get the "job".. you're over qualified..
  7. Oh yes. but.. he'd have to be.. what I described previously to even consider accepting.. All that's left.. is a measly 40 million or so.. about 200 acres of farmland.. for an organization, the money they have in the bank is really small potatoes.
  8. could be.. but really. Who runs that "organization", now? In my personal opinion.. a *hick* who would otherwise have to work at a minimum wage job somewhere, asking what people's hamburger and happy meal preferences need to be fulfilled for the order.. anybody can just bark orders. Now.. to bark the RIGHT orders.. is perhaps a significantly different matter.. I don't think they could come up with enough carrots to lead anybody competent enough to pull the organization out of the fire, to take office. except for.. yet ANOTHER *hick* (excuse the slur.. just can't find any other apt description at the moment) to take minimum wage, a week in the Bahamas.. along with a little bit of moggish worship.. to take the helm. Along with the liabilities. I hope young moneyhands runs.. as fast as his little feet can carry him.. pa's "nuts".. excuse the additional "slur".. but I can't find any other apt description..
  9. hmm. So she will provide one final "service" to da household of der way.. another thought.. what bright, upcoming, candidate competent enough to run a fortune 500 company or such.. would waste time, effort and professional development to head up an organization with less resources than a real, efficient, bonafide CEO would reasonably expect for a years salary and bonus.. there are no more corporate jets, that I know of.. he'd have to fly first class, or coach.. along with the unwashed masses.. I don't think even the offer of a week in the bahamas for a "trustee meeting" would entice anybody worth their salt.. maybe an aging ceo from gm could offer his services..
  10. just wonder.. what's the plan. When rosie the ribitter croaks her final one.. who's next in line? I mean.. who do they think has the supposed "competence" to continue to run a sad, aging, failed organization even further into the ground? Or do they even have a plan? rosie's "renewed mind excellence" won't exactly keep her hopping, and on the throne forever..
  11. I wonder what the impression the "kids" have in all of this.. "parents" (as one can call them that) off playing secret squirrel, gathering bits of information about people who "threaten" their regime, or so they think.. if I was one of the kids, I'd tend to think this behavior was due to advancing age in the brain.. now moneyhand's kid.. what's the deal here.. just hanging around, waiting for rosie to croak her final croak? Then receive the "presidency" by some kind of acclimation of the said "members" advancing greatly in age in the brain?

One of the souls I met along the way (not IN the way!) asked me something like.. "what if you found that everything you believed was just plain WRONG". What would you do? well... I'd be "generous".. those who instructed me in the ways of wrongness.. well, they'd be as "wrong" as me, wouldn't they? I think.. for most, there is nothing as good as being "wrong".. as being "wrong" together..

what I would like to know.. how many people here experienced something they could describe as "unsnapping"..
  14. kinda reminds me of the loyster's claims how fortune 500 companies oughter be clamoring for his "expertise".. he would not survive the first five minutes of an interview..

and I didn't have an ulterior motive for asking.. just wanted to understand your mind friend.
  16. considering that young vicster didn't really want to work the land.. i.e.. continue in pa's stead, and run the farm.. wouldn't ownership of the land be not unlike an Albatross about the young victoid's neck? what better "arrangement" than to deed it to a "corporation".. and still receive revenue.. without having to EVER produce yet one more day of honest labor.. of course, that's probably what you're trying to say..
  17. I laughed half the afternoon over this.. but it's really pitiful.. what you describe as this competitive clawing, manipulation, ladder climbing.. I think in principle da "fox" exhibits the worst characteristics of corporate america.. but outside of the folds of twi, I don't think she would have even a quarter of the compentence to survive. twi is probably (to her(?)) a "dream come true.." a (well paying supposedly) job.. that requires little or no real professional competence.. just raw arrogance and obnoxiousness..

Garth.. did you go through momentus? Just wonder..
  19. well.. yeah. That's what they are wating for, I'm sure.. almost as likely as like some of us here.. waiting for them to wake to some kind of righteousness or something.. (I'm not entirely discounting the possibility.. but hour by hour, it just doesn't seem to be "happening"..) so.. the current count. We remove the kids, the pets, who's left?
  20. perhaps in your eyes.. spirituality is only in the eye of the beholder.. just another thought.. :)
  21. well, yes. along with a nightly commentary, at 7pm.
  22. How about.. "do no harm" ? that's the thought that keeps coming to me.. the "strange" thing.. it seems to be a reoccuring theme in many beliefs.. few seem to live up to it that I've observed..
  23. maybe my point is.. "don't pick on the sixties". they may have been days of being "screwed up".. but not "unparalleled" in human history or anything.. I was just a little too young at the time..
  24. The more I think about it.. the more I have issues with the sixties reference.. it's almost like.. you've manufactured a "problem" and "solution" in one line.. drugs? They have been a "problem" since.. who knows when.. before lsd, there was a lot of "stuff" they used for divination and such.. if it wasn't for tv, and the nightly news, Leary wouldn't have had anywhere near the following that he did.. well.. it's just a thought. The media could have just have let sleeping dogs lie.. but NOOOO.. the very icon of "rebellion" (in many people's eyes) has followers and such splashed on the nightly news at 7pm.. So was it a time fraught with moral decay? I don't think so.. I think it was blown far out of proportion.. Promiscuity? How about a time.. when a "lady" dresses herself up as a prostitute.. and "does business" with her father in law..? and it was during a time, far far before the sixties.. Just a few thoughts.
  25. I don't know how much I agree.. I would modify the former statement. Perhaps the sixties were fraught with moral decay, not too much unlike generations and other decades past. With America's development of television, no nook or cranny of moral decay seemed to remain as safe and excluded as it once did.. developments in technology in the forties and fifties brought battles in Vietnam, scenes of protest in every street, and the like to the living room of "everday" "normal" Americans, and others who had the capacity to view the same images. I'll have to think about the rest of your post..
