yeah.. that was me. I don't think you'll EVER have a clue.. having "parental authority" ripped from you, before you even have a chance to rebel.. good times.. yep..
-
It makes a little sense to me.. I watched a couple of "times".. twig coordinators reamed unmercifully because some deadline past.. and no class materialized.. and that's mild.. what about VOLUNTEERS.. worked to no end, mucking the wienerville pond.. then stoutly reproved, because they had the audacity to feel sore at the end of the day.. yeah.. it was a good time I'm sure.. what about the guy employed in da way in a "professional" manner.. subject to vicious reaming because he didn't have the "revelation" that some poor sucker's wowmobile would vomit a half a quart of grease in gawd's parking lot.... and somehow "missed it" on his way to work that morning.. and promptly remove said oil slick, before it even occured.. or the character who lost both parents.. and was severely criticized because *they* merely THOUGHT he might be feeling sorrow for himself or something.. all I'm saying is.. I understand the point made. what about you guys who were in "leadership" positions when the victser's "vision" of four thousand wows didn't materialize? Was that a "good time"..? from my observation.. I'd say, no.. they weren't *reallY* good times.. not to mention the personal cost of participation in "god"'s "household".. How much did we pay.. to *enjoy* a wow burger.. just a thought, or a few.. I can understand the observation..

I generally hiss and spit in their direction.. it isn't beliefs in particular.. it's the fact they use their precious beliefs to herd people like cattle..
-
so, at the end of it all.. *they* finally found a "loony bin" for me.. kind of.. toss me in as instructor of a class, where likely seventy five percent of the students don't want to be there, and hate math.. maybe it's really purgatory.. or even hell itself. I wonder what the kids did to end up there...

and I haven't even begun to tell people here what the *ministry* really cost me, personally, professionally, financially, emotionally, mentally, spiritually.. physically. Those who know me may know a little bit of this..and I'm sure if they are honest, they can see the same thing in themselves.. the more I look at it.. I see most of the good I realized had a heavy price tag.. and I only claimed a little bit of the good.. others claimed a lot more..

it isn't my call.. it's theirs. But I think If they came to find their offshoot leader to be a drambuie soaked, kool short huffer with a propensitiy of drugging women and such, I think the answer would be obvious.. just for me.. I've abandoned every last bit of vic/twi related material. For me, personally.. I don't think any perceived *good* I got from twi was worth what others paid. You may feel differently, I just don't. I know of cases in offshoots where their promised "healing" methods failed to materialize.. *significant* health *issues*.. and apparently the "green light" that is always on was burned out at the moment or something.. they probably spent the next six months trying to analyze why *doc*'s miracle potion did not work.. and I have seen some supposedly healed physically, but hobbled for life spiritually.. mistaken or not, those are a few personal observations..

I dunno.. one LONE SINGLE innocent victim is far too much. *you* can have my "eternal life".. back.. along with te "good times".. it's not worth it..

It might require years of research and all.. but where WOULD he park? you'd think.. "wherever he wants".. but I don't think he'd be obnoxious about it all.

priceless..

Sooo.. what's your point? :) don't disappoint me with a drive by post.. inferring we oughter be what da manogawd claimed to be or some such nonsense.. I'd like to see post number three..

Sounds like a pretty fair assessment.. and a lot of us de-sensitized numbnuts hung on, trying to figure out if that's what they really meant.. with mandates land suggestions ike that..
-
Do *they* still give fifty and sixty somne year old *corps* assignments? You'd think at sixty some years old, they'd have already done their duty, or something like that.. besides, you'd think they've figured out what their "assignment" in life is, by now.. just a thought..

In the greater scheme of things, what makes *all that* such a big deal? generally, what I've observed people "learned" from da way, is a persistent arrogance and rancid opinion that they've got the almighty where they want him..
-
I think it all really is pretty simple. There always have been good times, bad times, indifferent times.. people in a blood sucking stinking cult can actually be happy at times.. I think da *ministry* just took the good, and stamped their filthy little copyrighted logo on it.. They just salted the mine with the lives of people who perhaps were genuinely happy.. or successful.. or rich.. same ploy as almost any other second rate wanabe organization..

Looks like I've made things go "tilt".. sowy..

It's like death to let go of some of that (for better words) *stuff*.. the last bit of memoriabilia I had was the little segment of pfal *doc* vic sent out to us on the fortieth anniversary of der vey it was.. I couldn't throw it away.. somebody here on GS had enough mercy to graciously receive it.. thanks friend..

eventually it will catch up I'm sure.. Student loans. Student over fifty. Whadda we do.. If I kick the bucket at say, fifty-five.. the department of education will find two loan officers. One a "saint".. obviously headed for heaven.. and another one.. a "devil" of sorts.. they will shoot both of them in the head.. after, of course.. giving them explicit instructions to collect from me.. sheesh.. they'll probably give them a whole list of us..

me too. well, I can't bring myself to beat up a lady.. Bride.. do you have a bachellor's degree? just a thought.. there are a few universities *dumb* enough to actually PAY squirrels to torture freshmen with math symbols, or in other words, teach math.. and toss in a generous (almost a living) stipend.. and FREE graduate classes to boot.. Sorry, I still see the humor in all of this.. (i.e. can't stop laughing).. I won't get rich, but it will be fun.. a man (or woman's ) gift makes room for him (her).. might not be at the pay scale one might want.. but what the hay..

The "good times".. started (in my lifetime) in the fifties..I was too young to remember at the time.. then came the sixties. Sex, (some) good drugs, rock and roll and the mob took it over.. then came the early seventies.. the opportunists made their move.. the vicster included.. same ploy.. try to analyse it, find some way to sell it.. then the eighties came. Many of us started experiencing the joys of family.. same thing happened.. nineties.. and further.. da way has run out of fuel.. no "good times" to harvest the benefits from.. all that's left are a few kids who should run like the wind.. far and as fast from new knoxville, or Auglaize county, as far and as fast as their vehicles, buses, or feet can take them.. and a few fossilized remains of "good times" from years past.. just saying..

Some would liken it more to limburger..

The english version.. "duplication" I have no idea why I remember this stuff..
