umm.. your pontiac bonneville didn't quite show up.. :) while you are tooling about in the Bonneville for secret rendevous in New Breman and St. Mary's, you need a few of these to chug down..
-
it might be bizarre, but some are still stuck in that kind of mentality.. some old deposed leadership saved up tithes from meagre wages from working at places like mcdonalds or taco bell.. waiting for a "god approved" place to deposit it.. I am thinking specifically of one individual.. naw, he'll never post here..
-
or more about making one. Or maintaining power over people, when one's past highly disqualifies them..
-
heh. Only when it suits them. Other than that, its legalism..
-
what I find interesting.. many of us who "watched" this nonsense for so long are now comparing notes.. not that I'm trying to scare the hell out of you or anything.. but if I were you fella, I'd want to know why..
-
You WILL be answering that question to Someone, someday.. for your sake, I hope the genuine answer is "no"..
-
ah yes.. hmm. "and don't bring her back empty boy.." good grief.. especially when you have free gas..
-
I guess he said Tiger Woods would never amount to anything,either.. gawd, what kind of morons were we following.. the popes big visit didn't seem to get woods off his game..
-
something like that. I think he bought a slightly used one, that the navy only drove to church on Sundays with.

Are they adding? Probably not. What they mostly might be doing, is building up a small stockpile from ex-wayfers who can't find any other meaningful (?) place to tithe and "abundantly share". *We* all know that we *owe* provision of physical comforts and such to *those who labor(?) in the word and doctrine, do we not? Now the kids involved.. they will be left with 501c organizations which they can only leach out a little sustenance at a time.. the smart ones (hopefully) got an education, a profession, a life..

They are so cute.. but think about it.. that's 120 cans of cat food a day, 3600 a month.. even at 10 cents a can, that's what.. $360.00 a month. 4,800 pounds of clumping kitty litter a month.. unless he trained them to go potty outside in the neighbor's garden.. and fleas.. treatment for fleas once a month perhaps. And one would want to treat them all the same week. Plus are they all neutered? If not, the cat population would be astronomical in a few short months.. You'd need to run spreadsheet to keep track of them all.. One of the resident cats here eats a minimum of a can a day, and all the dry food she wants.. with a 120 of them, I can't even imagine the cost. I'd HAVE to put them to work.. oh yes, plus two eggs. at two eggs a day.. that would be something like 7200 eggs a month for 120 cats.. that's just a mere 600 dozen.. he could save money and only neuter half of them. Typically males cost a third for the procedure. Of course, accidently miss one, and with one intact male.. sixty females.. yeah, the population would still be astronomical in a few short months.. the sole intact male would probably have a heart attack..

heh.. tell *them* that.. I was with one with a foreign accent once for some time trying to get it to work.. forget it. I'll take the internet access, use the yahoo or hotmail account.. in short, I've given up..
-
hmm.. so why indeed do I hold on to my hotmail or yahoo accounts.. it would literally take me six months to get a *real* email account setup with my particlar internet provider.. at least one which really works.. really.. a half a dozen or more calls, who knows how many hours each configuring this thing.. it really isn't that important I guess.. I would have to provide a user name and password, both of which I never was privy to during the initial installation.. fine. Hotmail "works"

I dunno.. I've rolled up to some kind of party that didn't live up to its advertised expectations.. i.e.. had a supposed open door slammed in my face.. well.. not my loss. some people are so damned paranoid..its a love hate thing.. they'd love to have the intimacy, but absolutely hate any sacrifice that would make it possible.. I'd try it again.. maybe I'm a proverbial glutton or punishment or something.. if we are going to have a party.. let's have a party.. I'm pretty harmless.. It's going to have to be after December the twelfth or so.. during a short break between fall and spring semesters..

Nasty, nasty stuff.. don't worry.. I'll bring the cabernet. We'll have to figure who's gonna bring the acid or shrooms. a word of warning.. don't consume the cabernet right before it hits.. you might be breathing pure cabernet the next few hours or so.. I had something like that happen once..
-
heh.. *snort*
-
the next greasespot wienie roast.. if you'll have me.. I'll make sure the streets run with cabernet. don't expect drambuie.
-
why don't they read the next verse.. heh
-
Yep.. wrapping paper in the gutter Moving slowly as the wind on the sea, (Faces calling, waves moving) In your picture on a wall of a house of old times. (Can you hear me) Can you hear me (Can you hear me) Wandering sadly?
-
I remember vics description of the party these words were uttered, the writing on the wall.. a big drinking party with lots of schnapps, drambuie and wild turkey.. pretty appropriate.. the rest of us have to settle for cheap Cabernet..
-
"You are weighed in the balances, and found wanting (sorely lacking)".. vewy vewy vewy interesting.. that described another sycophants grand child.. "I didn't write the book people".. You want "the word and nothing but da word".. well, what can I say.. there it is..
-
Despite what I knew about pops.. I really did give v2p2 a fair shake and all..
-
Hmm.. vewy, vewy interesting.. maybe they had to have the thing in someone elses name just to be able to get it insured.. whoever owned it.. so much for living on "needs basis" anyway.. well, gramps left the red drapes legacy I guess. If you have to have a car, it might as well be a $90,000 model.. if one must eat, may as well use bone china service every day.. crystal.. silver.. consider sex as a need? Might as well have "variety".. I really can see why rosie ran them off.. it was probably enough to even turn HER stomach.. interesting that the people who REALLY lived on "needs basis" (way productions) had NO access to the same gas pump. They were marked on the little list the guy showed me as among those to be turned away.. this was the one night of "bless patrol" I EVER pulled at a roa. The fawning character was aching to go watch his hero perform what was anticipated as the finest teaching of the week, on Hebrews 11. He needed someone to sub.. guess who said yes? and bucko was out a cruising.. so I found out a couple of things.. 1. He did NOT regard the "greatness of da word" nor paps.. but he relished position. 2. He was one arrogant sob.. the odds and coincidences almost over-whelm me..

Funny how the past comes and bites one in the rear. Don't be embarrassed. I've had it nip at me as well a couple of times.. You know.. any LEGITIMATE organization you would apply for for a pastorate or such, knowing your past, would likely ask most of the same questions.. yep.. starting with questions about your "degree" in theology.. yet you place yourself in a position where your "followers" cannot.. what does that suggest, hmm?
