I would tend to play "nice".. at least personally.. I've had a similar kind of experience.. what if you found everything you believed to be wrong.. so you look at the bright point of light, for about 3/4 of a second.. and what you were certain of was burned off.. in a "Christian" sense, it will happen at the resurrection.. if you believe that.. now.. you have the logical part of self.. which manages to survive this supposed destruction of *self*, because if it did not, you would have no more place in this existence.. there is the question. which came first, logic, or one's self..

I've learned to live with my own nuttiness.. too many "followers" would ruin it, anyway.. tun.. run dear friends, as far and as fast as you can..

I dunno. Perhaps God inspires everybody.. its just that.. my *inspiration* might be quite real, but not very relevant to those next to me.. one finds out by opening one's mouth I guess..

well.. except for the soldiers from Texas. Who knows what they would do with them...

What if Texas seceded.. it might have one good unintended effect: we'd probably see our soldiers brought home from the four corners of the earth in less than two weeks..

I dunno.. did Paul "see the light"? Maybe that's the question.. a lot of us have seen that.. this lifetime, I turned my back to using it to my advantage.. no followers, no persecution.. no nonsense.. Yeah.. I remember this paper being something about Peter being a front man or something.. has anybody even SEEN this "thesis"? How many pages.. how well was it developed.. considering it was a "miracle work" of about or less than a year of BOTH supposed course work and dissertation.. and the big question: how much of it was purely "copied"?

I understand what you are saying here.. but who other than Paul's claims exist that these conditions were true to begin with? Its just a question.. five times I was beat forty stripes save one.. thrice with rods.. acts records the records with Barnabas and Saul.. the earthquake.. the Jailor saved with his house.. If it were all true, surely it is noble and all.. reminds me of my favorite movie.. "tell me, were you ever tortured?" "well yes.." "you probably know, those fellows are going to give me a pretty good working over.." how does anybody ever stand up to torture.. "well, Jack, nobody does.. The next guy they sent was a *specialist*. He replaced the wire.. I told the lady of the house.. be nice to the next guy.. he is supposed to know what he is doing. christ.. I worked on this stuff for over twenty years.. Joe, listen to the little guy who says.. "just replace the wire.."

Joe.. just replace the wire. Even in mucking about in the dead of winter stringing wire.. is far better than the alternative..

wouldn't surprise me.. thankfully, at this point, I have not had to do this.. but if you have to be the cable guy, BE the cable guy.. I'm thinking of the last one that came here. "fella.. there are twenty splices between here and the pole. We need a solid DC connection to the source for it to work.. any one of these splices could mess it up. just replace the damn wire.." would he do it? Nooooo... because the numbnuts would not listen.. he had to endure the harassment and ridicule from the lady of the house.. Oh.. yes. That was the next visit.. because the system still did not reliably function, after he left..

I don't have any personal ax to grind with the fella.. but really, if I was him.. I would reconsider having my home address on a web site.. so apparently he's "moved on"? Sounds like his less aged, and less pudgy (for now) counterpart has taken his place at da way.. If I were you fella.. I'd run as far from new knoxville as I could.. likely with the economy, in thirty or so years, you won't have the luxury of finding anyone able to even buy houses..
