too bad we don't have very many modern day "examples".. at least in the boastful land of da prevailing word.. or offshoots. what do we really have to imitate.. they all moved on.. got a life.. and I mean.. that's not bad. Sometimes all one can do is make a small, very small difference.. its better than nothing.. jl comes to mind. What real difference has he made.. maybe.. with his sat preparation thingy.. he got a few kids into a better college.. or at least got them better prepared. if I were he.. I would put 99.7 percent of my effort into this.. but he chooses less than the tithe.. starts another damned *ministry*.. well, it's my opinion.. I wish he'd read or consider.. why doesn't he just "move on".. -

Are there people who STILL buy his form of "nuttiness"? I have enough of my own.. and it is not for sale. and I really don't need any more.. It just seems.. some have followed him from one form of drama, to another.. what's the big attraction? I'd really like to know.. human behavior is fascinating.. -

I really wish it would.. people here have tried pleading, loving admonition.. perhaps the worst sarcasm is the "end of the line" for jl.. I actually respect jl for what he has done, not with herr victer's "word".. the SAT preparation endeavour.. Apparently he hasn't responded to "positive criticism" either. Like I said before.. it's my opinion.. but if he won't listen to reason.. I mean, he's had "normal" people try to intelligently discuss issues with him.. what's left? I saw a computer game once. It was a tournament golf game.. you choose your character.. so if you were a "duffer".. missed five shots on the green.. the crowd would start laughing at you.. in a "biblical" sense, isn't that what he's turned out to be? A "biblical" "duffer"? same for the rest of the clowns at ces.. they've missed the mark, for how many years now? Maybe it's bad and all.. but it's barely worth a laugh.. sorry. -

maybe a new name for JL's organization.. "Snakessss 'R' Us..." just have to get the "ssssss" right.. -
I really think, it is as correct, as we are going to get.. No, he was not a "doctor". not by any conceivable stretch of the imagination..

I just emailed *these people*.. princeton theological seminary et al.. let's see what they have to say.. Their site seemed "kinda weird".. they offer masters and doctorate programs.. for whatever.. seems no introductory programs.. no math or english proficiency.. we'll see I guess.. which is vewy, vewy interesting. An internet search only will find the name of *mr ellis* accompanied with the name of herr victser.. so how "well known" was this character? Just wonder..

just in case you don't "get it".. this is where the Squirrel wants the money to go: http://nwoarc.info/ make it about 200K.. that'll pretty much make everything financially even.. well, its the closest group I could find. Shouldn't be too hard to find the address.. and don't send these guys questions about the bible. I'm sure they won't know what the hell you are talking about..
-
V*%$.. make sure you pass this billing through the proper channels..
-
Thinking about the 'settlement".. no amount of money could rectify (in my opinion) what da way did to the a**%ns.. about three quarter of a million might rectify at least financially what involvement cost me. and that's just financially.. I had a lot of other life issues stolen from me.. I can't exactly claim it was, or was not the fault of da *ministry*.. but they sure didn't really help me in that regard.. oh well. So rosie, gang, et al.. just send a check. To The Squirrel, New Knoxville, Ohio. They will know where to send it, I'm sure. Along with any questions, regarding the bible, life, etc. You know the drill. So.. where you couldn't supply the answers, we'll call it "even". OK?
-
as far as rosie taking charge.. I think it's like the pigs learned how to walk.. I know its a fairy tale and all, but.. by all accounts here, she seems to be more oppressive than those who came before her..
-
V*^#e.. you are a M O R O N.. christ.. well, maybe rosie could make some arrangements for you.. oh, sorry. there aren't very many nice looking corps grads around.. hmm. We'll have to rethink this..
-
So L*nder is out fending for himself.. to one degree or another.. what about his *replacement*? I wonder how long it will be before it is a part time *job*.. you'll have to work nights in the mall in Cincinnati, fella.. well.. it would be better than coming home to.. I won't say. you know.. coming home.. to NOTHING.. sorry, I said.. You have absolutely NO IDEA what you threw away..

What is wrong with affiliation?
Ham replied to Ham's topic in Spirit and Truth Fellowship International
lack of transparency.. that's the real problem.. yeah, "I'll tell you something if you love and worship me.." seems to be the real attitude here. Won't communicate with *anonymous* people.. I've seen income reports in piles in the lobbies of at least one church and several non-profit organizations.. they don't even CARE if one is wearing a mask, when one picks it up.. I think what is really *wrong* with affiliation.. at least to them.. most legitimate organizations.. would not have them. They are either- not qualified, as in education, certification, etc.. or DISQUALIFIED.. by ungodly actions.. interesting, isn't it.. but some of these numbnuts manage to get a half a second of fame.. publish some really weird s*It, and somebody who means dang in the world just might offer some kind of honest criticism.. and its *free*. anybody who STILL supports this nuttiness.. I spit in your general direction.. with the love of gawd, of course.. -

The only "affiliation" Is with a corrupt organization, long long ago.. yep.. *dr* wienerville would be proud of them, I guess.. -

"but what about the KEEEEEEEEEEDS? where will THEY go.." lessee. At the moment.. you are actually PAYING these nutcases to teach your kids bad behavior.. who else do you think they will mimic? Well, besides some of your behavior.. you are teaching them that it is their duty to support this kind of nuttiness.. or am I wrong? -

and they will continue the same sordid (in some groups cases) and nutty (definitely a good description for stiffi) behavior as long as you encourage (pay) them to do it.. -
The only thing I can imagine.. is when a *minister* had sexual *indiscretions* with the flock, exhibited weird behavior like seeing spiders and devils crawling on people, leave church money laying around in the office (fiscal irresponsibility), pretending to be gawd almighty, refusing to publish a PUBLIC record of finances as a non-profit church organization (more fiscal irresponsibility).. one might not keep one's job..
-
I think the lack of accountability goes hand in hand with lack of affiliation. They are affiliated basically with their own pudgy selves.. yeah, they call the little twigs that send them money and such as partners.. wasn't that what absolutely drove the victoid up the wall, affiliation? Church leaders who actually would demand him to tow the line? Might not be true for all of them.. but these non-denominational outfits.. no affiliation, no or little accountability..
-
I would tend to play "nice".. at least personally.. I've had a similar kind of experience.. what if you found everything you believed to be wrong.. so you look at the bright point of light, for about 3/4 of a second.. and what you were certain of was burned off.. in a "Christian" sense, it will happen at the resurrection.. if you believe that.. now.. you have the logical part of self.. which manages to survive this supposed destruction of *self*, because if it did not, you would have no more place in this existence.. there is the question. which came first, logic, or one's self..

I've learned to live with my own nuttiness.. too many "followers" would ruin it, anyway.. tun.. run dear friends, as far and as fast as you can.. -

I dunno. Perhaps God inspires everybody.. its just that.. my *inspiration* might be quite real, but not very relevant to those next to me.. one finds out by opening one's mouth I guess.. -
well.. except for the soldiers from Texas. Who knows what they would do with them...
-
What if Texas seceded.. it might have one good unintended effect: we'd probably see our soldiers brought home from the four corners of the earth in less than two weeks..
