true. But isn't that unusual for a "vibrant, growing" organization?

wouldn't surprise me if they dropped her off at some farm in Smith County Mississippi.. Yep. The "elders" of "the church" would surely want to take care of the poor darling.. where's the loooove... hey, she has a "ministry" and all.. you numbnuts owe her that much.. she could chop firewood and clear stumps as well(???) as anyone else.. I know. I'm bad tonight..

Interesting book.. if you read the back bookcover.. Hawking holds a Newton's chair as Lucasian Professor Mathematics at Cambridge University.. Considering this is a "math" book.. I can find only one equation or formula anywhere.. the whole book relies on the reader's knowledge and intuition.. in other words, a mathematical novice or layman can understand it.. So that is one thing on my "to do" list for spring break this coming week.. do some math homework.. figure out lesson plans for twelve days from now, read entirely through Hawkings brief history of time, and make my 10,000th post on Greasespot Cafe.

Stephen Hawking wrote A brief history of time. Ever read it? Supposedly the universe was once a singularity..

Low risk is a good point here. She probably doesn't want to end up like john lynn..

Was this from an ex-wayfer? (or current?) Sounds like a section of christian family and sex.. the vicster made a big deal of the trees of the garden.

I wonder what the average age of those on staff is.. does anyone know? Considering they devoted a lot of a way rag to try to suck in new blood.. my guess would be the age of current staffers must be above the fifties..

Is that the plan? Somehow I don't see it.. when rosie is even older, and can't remember where all the skeletons and money and all is hidden.. isn't donna a little younger? I mean.. she's "paid" for the position, hasn't she? I'm sure they could portray it as "da will of gawd" or something.. wouldn't get too much objection..

Questions (legitimate or otherwise)

These "leaders" will attend the same debriefing that I will.. :) vewy, vewy scary, isn't it? :) -
Some of this reminds me of Stephen Hawkings works..

somehow.. I just don't see it.. "insane with desire" :biglaugh: sowie.. I just don't understand.. how, or for what reason.. Its gotta be the money.. Isn't he the same guy who ended up prosecuting some poor woman for *stalkiing* him a few years back? "Mysteriously" ended up in his kitchen making dinner or something like that?
-
Probably only just enough that she can make it sound convincing..
-
maybe they transcribed it not so accurately.. "you'll heel people". Some bizarre figure of speech, a noun used as a verb or something.. I think she will remain pres until she is of a condition that she can't remember where the skeletons and money and all is hidden..

Did anybody else hear her acceptance speech?

That sounds like a rewording of an old way belief: "God designed our brain to hold da word".. -
I think they are finding it harder to pay the bills with. The arrogance, that is..

Inspiration and the inerrancy of Scripture
Ham replied to roberterasmus's topic in Doctrinal: Exploring the Bible
Paul quoted Aratas as well. Perhaps in some kind of remote context he considered that "scripture" as well.. -
I would say that they are too weak to live outside of THEIR "comfort zone".. easy to sit back, well insulated from the rest of the christian world.. comment on how weak the players are performing..

I think we are saying the same thing in a slightly different dialect.. -

and.. its for lack of better words, a Mexican Standoff. We can't exactly veto Him out of existence.. yet He can't arbitrarily run *us* (Himself) off the map either.. Or was that the other way around.. -

This calls whole venues of divinity into question.. There are a few opinions I've read here and there... Part of "God" had to die, giving birth to creation.. some think that the Almighty sacrificed (sound familiar?) part of Himself for the "greater Good".. that could be.. but God can't die. Where did his "parts" go? He had everything.. at the beginning.. but it is rather "boring". I mean.. the 20 millionth year, with perfect weather.. I think the Almighty chose to reserve 50 percent of Divinity.. and maybe that's what is "free will".. -

It is basically the foundation for inductive proof or argument. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Well-ordering_principle I know its math.. but you were talking logic and proof or the lack of merit thereof.. Anyway.. I don't think that Penworks assertion was not that the bible is NOT inerrant. Just that if one wants to impose an inductive proof or analysis, one has to play by the rules. Is it inerrant, or not? "well, it is, because it says it is.." hardly is a base step for the "proof". Neither is "it can't be". If faith or belief is so important.. isn't it counter-productive to force logic where it does not really apply? -

Then you don't accept the well-ordering principle?
