Yep, so much nicer, run by an little old lady(?)
-
Posted on another thread. But I had to put it here for you music lovers..
-
heh.. well, maybe the question should be.. when hq is gone, who is going to turn out the lights? da mrs is gone. Not going to be her..
-
maybe.. people have figured out that's the agreement they've made with this existence.. to deal with Sunday (afternoon fellowhip) obligations.. (false way or such, the label doesn't make any difference) ministers in pulpits (in front of herr vey validated lecterns) and the like.. people generally seem to tolerate religion, way brand, and otherwise.. well, it's just a thought. and let's not mention the tolerance of *pretenders* to da throne..
-
I dunno.. if it would just "roll away".. that would be one thing... sowie.. Must just not be "available" or something..
-
His version is every bit as wonderful.. Yeah.. I know he wrote it.. Just curious how Jones ended up with it..
-
and you can't hate the light.. or can't you. it's a love/hate relationship.. or is it.. well.. if the funny bus pulled up here.. I'd abandon everything in a moment.. Norah Jones sung this.. "I always take the long way home.." You know she's a God-daughter of the Beatles, don't you? :)
-
HA! No, that's not Blues.. that's just a complaining.. The Light has to break your heart, before you can sing the blues..
-
I dunno. wandering around.. not having a clue in the world who or what I am or could care less.. doesn't have it's lack of attractions or something.. It would be the ultimate holiday.. a "home away from home".. It's not that scary of a place.. we came from it to begin with..
-
:) Perhaps we all do, from time to time..
-
Hey.. all old acid heads eventually end up singing the blues.. why is it though.. I keep revisiting my origins..
-
I dunno.. I was thinking more of something like an acid test..
-
Most of them ran into the Blues.. Fred the Head loved the country..
-
Where do people run to now..
-
nooooo. the audience was from West Virginia.. heh maybe I was just lucky.. hippies who knew the family ended up in west (by gawd) Virginia.. I remember one of them.. "Fred the Head".. as far as I know.. the character knew Kesey..
-
what I wonder is.. what is the "twist" they will add the first time a participant breaks a bone.. then what next.. raped or pillaged hitch-hiking.. what kind of spin then.. what do they do then.. what to keep the illusion alive.. all I can say is.. the guy in charge is FULLY responsible.. I've done enough asking questions when this atrocity was only one year old.. you're on your own fella..
-
the horns sound like a lot of the Spirit add ons..
-
If there is a "great life".. I'm still trying to figure out where its at..
-
"Mum" is a very good word. One should use it often, and frequently..
-
Naw.. I'd rather not race. Let the poor bastard win the booby prize.. anybody who would accept the label.. "da bad guy" in all of this.. well.. I hope you got what you wanted.. it really isn't worth a whole heck of a lot.. somebody's got to be the bad guy I guess.. Greetings Galen. The music calls, doesn't it.. No, I'm not calling you the bad guy. I just see you reading..
-
Nobody knows who you are.. how near or how far..
-
I was born ten years too late.. we're all born too late..
-
"the band has never used psychedelic drugs.." HA.. maybe they were just trying to impress Nixon.. If only Grace and cohorts had an audience.. I saw an interview with Grace.. she said something like.. about 600 micrograms would have done it.." christ.. they invited them to the White house.. and advisers rescinded at the last minute.. history may have been different.. very, very different.. You guys (not to mention *I*) ought not to place this ...... moth to a flame..

That's the album I want them to play at my wake.. well, give them a few hours.. after a few milligrams of acid in the punch.. I first heard that album on the downside of a long strange trip..
