this is pretty much the standard course, customized for business. Legitimate colleges have equivalent ethics courses for the engineering sciences as well.. along with social sciences.. medicine, etc.. why does da way seem to think they are exempt from this? the only lessons in ethics they seem to get are from high power lawyers..

amputated spirituality.. interesting.. maybe it's like a lizard.. if it loses its tail, it grows back.. or has the capacity to. But it isn't exactly the same tail.. maybe I'm looking for the perfect religion.. Where one is not perpetually an outsider, no matter how dedicated a follower can become.. where friendships are not based on a particular belief, or lack of.. or based on performance.. or one's income..

well.. nobody ever played that card on me. i.e. you know how to get a job.. get along with obnoxious people.. because of.. DA WAY.. so you owe your life to subservience in da corpse.. maybe they just didn't want unclean squirrels fowling the water or something..

the whole problem here.. that forget the almighty in all of this. If one were almighty.. it would never be too big of a stone for Deity to move.. are you REALLY that big? fair question I think.. all I can say.. if you CHOOSE to be that big.. BE that big.. yeah.. we've all been an offence, to someone, somewhere.. There are 200,000 loose ends.. I'll never be able to really wrap up in this existence.. not that I haven't tried. I really think.. forgiveness. is some serious s*it.. don't give it so freely.. if you give it, you owe it.. it really isn't some kind of trump card.. or wild card, one can snatch back when conditions are convenient..

ha! and I'd agree. "sorry, you placid, fowl undescript sonofabitch.. I'd have to kick your a**".. at this point, as far a HUMANS are concerned.. it seems an impossible venture.. forgiveness, that is.. why offer it? just a thought. why offer what you cannot produce.. is it a carry over of "da bible (blue book) tells me so"? No, I'm not mocking.. I'm really trying to figure this out.. though that's not guaranteed either..

I tend to think inductively. the almighty has time for.. anything but lesser(?) creatures.. I'm pretty lesser.. to me its not bad. This stuff plays in my head randomly at times.. without much prompting.. generals suck.. well, there were a few that didn't.. Patton wasn't so bad, when he wasn't misunderstanding shell shock.. the unrelenting pounding of artillery turned some people's brain into mush.. couldn't figure that out I guess..

:) I'd say more.. digging away.. the moments that make a dull day.. fritter and wasting.. Might be off topic.. maybe not.. I've always loved that music.. I think they explored rather closely.. what drove Sid Barret into the clutches of insanity.. most of us seem to be able to emerge mostly unscathed..

does one have to sink, or be one of the principal parties responsible for the sinking.. before they quit giving said person another one.. of course, it doesn't take a whole heck of a lot of incompetence to sink a motor coach. Just a fool who thinks he deserves a drivers license..

Now that's probably why I never went in da corpse. *whatever* they had to offer was never precisely, or even hazily defined. . wow was pretty much(?) defined.. grow ten years spiritually(?) or something.. I saw a few people get favorable results. Besides being Hitler (ahem) vic youth, I did manage to acquire a few skills.. learn how to GET A JOB.. how to get along with people who weren't exactly the same as me.. though that really wasn't a *problem* before.. I could live on macaroni, peanut butter and tripe again, if I had to.. if they ran even THAT right.. they would have had some *serious* exit counseling.. i.e. whadda I do now.. "go back to school bub.. get a degree.. do something damned serious with your life.." but instead.. I watched as they culled the *best* of the group for.. *drum-roll*.... way corps *training*.. very, very interesting, no? I was sent to observe.. perhaps da way should inquire about the final draft here..before it is respectfully submitted..

so.. they are basically sending da "flock" into what they would term a den of lions.. I really understand the mentality here. I also was part of the organization once.. curious. How old are those in the group? What kind of *overseers* and how old are they? any college graduates among them (way corpse training need not apply here)? High school graduates? Anybody who is/was working on a profession, a career?

I wonder if the university is aware of their "presence" yet. Could always send a few masters level psych or sociology students to check it out..

i.e. you don't think the good citizens of Ann Arbor will pay them to go away, onto more "fertile" fields?

so.. why Ann Arbor? Students are a little smarter, for sure. But then there's the possibility of "winning" drunk or otherwise inebriated students with shill or date and switch techniques.. it's really a long shot. They aren't exactly "sent" to run classes though, are they? Isn't the whole purpose to "confront" da world with der verd? Or in other words, a program to "train" the group in methods of being obnoxious?

Why can't he just "believe gawd" and hitch-hike to "lead" like the rest of the plebs? Just a thought.. donate ten bucks so he won't get busted for vagrancy anywhere along the way..

An "outsider's" observation: Your unspoken function was always a moving target. I know a few sincere folks, went in to become "da best" minister of Jesus Christ they could be.. so the "function" was supposed to be a minister.. then they pulled the "gift ministries" off the shelf.. then it turned into "twig coordinator" training.. which seemed to be exactly what you describe. Then loy turned the "function" into that of unemployed meddlers and informants.. maybe to some degree it was that all the time..
