Maybe that's the question.. by the time *we* got to Woodstock.. what were you.. too much scariness..
-
by the time we got to woodstock.. we were a half a million minus one strong. ha! Ma had me by the ear.. and where do you think YOU are going, young man.. No, I wouldn't have made one ounce a difference.. born too late I guess..
-
there has to be a point of imperfection.. else I would not have an exit point here.. so far.. every day has been "perfect".. :)
-
I dunno. why cant we just BE the perfect religion.. apparently that is not for this side of existence.. maybe its too boring or something..
-
if it makes any difference.. a lot (or at least a majority) of them had taken a LOT of LSD.. Not that I'm saying that's a bad thing in itself.. but a lot of *us* ended up in cults, of one form or another. what could have been different.. maybe we could have found the perfect religion.. maybe it was just.. the one we found was less perfect than some possible alternatives. But how would we have known.. maybe its an issue of trust..

I like newer cliches. "Don't give a mog even one more motorcoach to run off the end of a short pier.."
-
yeah.. they make me feel like jumping out of my skin.. sowie.. I love your avatar. "a fool and his money are soon parted".. not necessarily true. there were a lot of smart guys who invested in technology stock.. no, they weren't fools.. then there's a stitch in time saves nine. A quote from a fellow who constructed magic squares of even order just for the FUN of it.. the guy was brilliant.. I like this one: I think those are pretty.. what's the word.. innocuous. But then maybe you're referring to ones like "you can't outgive gawd.." as in what. What are you trying to say? Does He want me to try? And if I can't does he even WANT me to try? And give what, to whom? Surrrrrrre, fella.. sure. Put 90 percent of your meager income in the horn.. forget the rent, heating costs, or whatever. Can't outgive gawd.. Maybe these kind of cliches need questioned..

You win... the boobie prize.. sorry. I'm just crazy sometimes. Hopefully most people find it entertaining..
-
its a hell of a lot easier.. than the choice of one number among two.. I mean, this isn't a right or wrong test or anything..
-
the only thing I can say.. "data mining" looks like the most interesting (and profitable) but I won't include the number in the survey.. lemme see your intuition here.. can't be hard. I'm just looking for a number, one through nine..
-
the big "problem" is I'm looking at what to choose for Stats. If anyone has a particular number.. zero through nine.. please give it to me. what will it be.. I hope your intuition is on the money here.. I think I know what it is.. a little confirmation would make it good..
-
I dunno.. as far a scripture is concerned.. maybe it's more "Bullingerish".. i.e. not what it means, but where it came from.. Ha! I've seen "the light".. but I dare not define it.. to see it is to love it.. yeah.. symbolism is powerful.. who holds the keys.. the mogster tried to tear down the meaning of the symbols.
-
So we can actually THINK? I think that's a good point though.. it's like the axioms of geometry, or various geometries. They leave a a number of very key "things" undefined, vague. On purpose. You can think whatever you want about them.. like what is a line, a point.. If you have every concept set in stone, there is no room for improvement, or forming a better understanding.
-
how are you going to answer them..
-
Maybe this is a question the way *disciples* in Ann Arbor can answer.. you guys just KNOW the questions are coming..
-
I dunno. Don't think so.. last I remember, they rented the place out.. maybe somebody who knows for sure can comment..
-
If only I had a "flashy thing" to use on some of those numbnuts..
-
Now, claiming non-profit religious status.. as a bonafide(?) religious organization.. and running the "campus" like a resort.. might get somebody's attention..
-
Perhaps.. but then maybe they've taken the position let the buyer, or cult inductee beware..
-
Oh yeah! gawd forbid it was the guy quoting the bible and barking orders.. da mog should have been the first front, if they were honest.. but he was immune from that.. for the most part. The WORST I heard any say in the organization- "well, his walk isn't exactly perfect.."

How many Ocean Liners does it take..
Ham replied to Ham's topic in Spirit and Truth Fellowship International
You know. a moggy type, behind the wheel.. a long drive off a short pier.. -
The four fronts of da adversary.. I think they were distractions, or explanations of evil which had another face- da mog..

so they don't teach them practical management nowadays. Or ethics. Or greek, hebrew, or aramaic. Or church history. What about figures of speech? They still have flossing 101 I understand.. So what's the purpose here? they apparently are not looking for the most bright, most capable..
-
so with all of this "dumbing down" not only "spiritually" but in practical matters.. this suggests to me that they aren't in the "business" of training leaders anymore.. No, no leaders. Nothing new, innovative. rosie runs them off like there's no tomorrow..
