Nice to "see" you, Zix! How's da wifey??? and life in general???? From the ! house, obviously we just had our fifth anniversary and are expecting our first grandchild in June. Also, I'l almost done with all the classes for my masters degree, then I'll do a couple of internships (woohoo!), one son is getting athletic awards in wrestling, gymnastics and enjoying football. Other kids are doing wonderfully!!! And we've just begun remodeling our house....in the preliminary stages now. Both Steve and I have new jobs that are GREAT!! Life is awesome!!!

At the beginning of May I'm throwing a baby shower for Jessica and she wants a Winnie the Pooh theme. She is having a girl! I need recipe ideas, ideas for games, and decoration suggestions. I have a few....but am looking for more. We've already booked the room where we'll have it and there will be about 50 - 60 guests. Any ideas???? Thanks!

My son-in-law to-be is fluent in both english and spanish, written and oral. He has no twi experience, but Steve! and I could help with that. If you can't find a bilingual extwi.

Thanks guys, we are VERY excited!!!! It's been a LOOOONNNGGGG time since there has been a baby in my house!!! Steve and I are buying the baby things each week when we go shopping....and we took the mom-to-be out to buy maternity clothes last weekend. It's just SO fun!!!!!!

Beautiful, both baby and mom look wonderful! I'll chime in with the rest here....there is nothing like a baby in the house, enjoy each precious moment....they grow up FAST!!!! Congratulations!!!

After last year with a very sad miscarriage, we put off posting our good news until the first and most of the second trimester were over. But now we can announce our good news.....Jessica is pregnant!!!!!!!! She and J are doing well...she is 18 and they will be married shortly.... now for the fun news!!!!.... Baby Jaden Marie is on her way!!!!!!!!!! She is due June 6th Mom, baby, and daddy are doing very well....and Aunt Kat, Uncle Josh and Uncle Zach are waiting with excited anticipation!!!!! But more than that...... Steve! and I are going to be GRANDPARENTS!!!!!!!!!!!! um... was that a CRICK I heard when I jumped up???? naw....couldn't have been....could it???? WE ARE THRILLED!!!!

I ended up serving: baked ham and cheese appetizers latkes with sour cream, applesauce, and caviar chips and a taco dip coconut cream pie three different kinds of popcorn (a gift from a student of mine) champagne and sparkling cider and lots of confetti and new years horns and hats!!! it was LOTS of fun and it was limited to our own family down side is....we are wimps.....the only person who stayed awake until midnight was Steve!, the rest of us were in slumberland!!!!

I've been through this kind of thing and I'd recommend not only a good lawyer (God can work some amazing things in that area!), but also, request a Guardian ad Litem . This is also an evaluation of the parenting, but it is at no cost to you and holds a lot of water if used properly by a good lawyer. You might also contact the domestic abuse hotline, they offer some valuable advice based on real experiences. My boss called me while I was in class tonight to check up on it....he's excited it's coming together FINALLY!!!! Been a busy week, though....the Educational Director for the area and I have been interviewing....but we think we found the right candidate today! He and I have one more person to interview tomorrow! This is a GREAT job!!!! I'm busier than a one legged waitress at the IHOP (ala Larry the Cable Guy) but I'm lovin it!!!

....is such a great place for folks from all different interests, careers, perspectives, and ideas that I'm comin to ya'll again..... I am now running an all-girl therapeutic day school and am in charge of part of the residential school we have on-site. I am teaching seven different subjects and addressing many areas of life, living, and learning. I am also in charge of developing the curriculum for all of the day and residential schools my company runs in the chicagoland area and in a few other states. Subjects include: Math (all levels) English (all levels and styles of writing) Reading Science (all of em) Social and World Studies Computer (including keyboarding, applications, and programming) Character Ed. as well as addressing lots of different themes and current events. If you or someone you know can come speak, give ideas for hands-on, engaging curriculum, and/or know of sources for educational and technology grants, please let me know!!!! I am also working on a curriculum module for teaching kids who have experienced trauma, substance abuse, and/or being in the fostercare system, therapeutic and coping skills for dealing with life and all the accompanying emotions. Any ideas, lesson plans, activities, online resources, etc... would be great!!!..this forum is such a good resource for people from all kinds of careers, perspectives, and experiences that I am calling on ya'll again!

I run an all girl therapeutic day school and oversee part of the residential school on-site. We have some TALENTED writers who would benefit from your words.
