WWJLA, I just remarried at the age of 42. My first husband was abusive and apparently puts lying and cheating on his resume as one of his "skills" What we did (mystevey and I, my husband NOW), since I was SO against marriage...was we lived together for about a year and a half before marriage. I swore to myself that if I had ANY doubts, no wedding would take place. So maybe that's an idea for you....live together for a year...if you have NO doubts after that year....you'll know it's right to marry him! My husband and I have a connection that defies explanation....we call it 'sharing a brain'...haven't had ONE fight, a few minor disagreements, but no shouting matches or game playing. ...THIS marriage??? It is VERY happy...NOW I know what the big deal is with relationships and marriage. It can be so very, very RIGHT! Not sure if this helps or applies to you, it's just my two cents.

One of my ex wow-outreach-city brothers was at the wedding....we got to talking about folks we'd lost track of and Steve Little is big on his heart. Steve was a WOW area coordinator in Washington D.C., he left early in the year to join John Lynn and we never heard the REAL story or what happened to him afterwards. Anyone know the whereabouts of Steve Little????

Thanks for ALL your sweet words....and you too, Jessica :D--> We got home LATE last night...flight was delayed due to high winds or some such nonsense. Then, at 5:30 this morning I took Steve! to the train to fly back to CT to work until Friday. We are NOT happy bout that after the luxurious joy of being together 24/7 for a week!!!! Honeymoon was WONDERFUL!!!! Lessee....we DID laze at the pool and the beach a bit...but we also: snorkeled, fished (I caught two, mystevey caught one *brag*brag*), climbed Dunns River Falls, took a tour of the rain forest and some local flora and fauna, hadda Jamaican man come to our condo and make an authentic Jamaican Lobster dinner for us....plus we had leftover lobster the next night (what a rough life ;)--> ) bargained in the local craft shops for gifts for our kids, had some fantastic dinners at Margaritaville (owned by Jimmy Buffett), a GREAT Indian place, and many, many Jerk places that were MOST yummy! At night we would go back to our condo, make some rum punch, and enjoy the hell outta being together. We took pictures and had em made into cd's....I'll post some of em when I'm unpacked and a bit more rested. THANK YOU SO MUCH to all of you who attended our wedding....we had SUCH a great time!!! It meant so very much for you to be there!!!! Raf was THE PERFECT choice for our "Rev"...thanks so much for doing that, Raf!!!! You are welcome in our home ANYTIME you care to venture to Chicago!!! (our new house has a guest room, though a certain matron of honor of mine will be practically livin there...no no...no hint involved whatsoever) We LOVED meeting Pawtucket, Parsley, Suz,donner, dougie, Littlehawk and son...and seein Oak again with his wonderful gal, ourbestestpalexwaydaryl, Rottie....and, of course, my (((SL))) who worked so hard to be there to give me away...love you, Foggy!!! It was a great time...and we couldn't have been or be happier with who shared it with us!!!

No...the honeymoom is what you get when you're inna hurry at an internet cafe cuz you wanna go swim wif dolphins.....oh...there's the shuttle....gotta go!!!!!! :D-->

It'll be an assortment of extwi, family, friends, and even some of my students from last year and this. Of the 75 attending the wedding, 16 or so are extwi...the rest, nbw.

You two are hilarious!!!! btw....We'll have a Greasespot Cast of Characters so that all da GS'rs will know who is who...look for it when you get your programs!(Pawtucket will be da tall guy handing out programs...get one from him!) My matron of honor is a nbw....so be gentle!!!!

To all involved....it is a well known fact that weddings and funerals bring out the WORST in people. Can we please RISE above this statistic??? (or if not...can there be money involved??? :D--> ) Zix...honey...you're bein rude.

For all you GS'rs that can't come to the wedding but maybe can come inna summer....here's da deal..... WE'RE GITTIN A HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!! We'll be having a housewarming party towards the end of June (we're moving into the house in May) Did I say P*A*R*T*Y????? Why, YES I DID!!!!!!! We'll have a lot of room for folks to crash, a big front and back yard, there are some good, inexpensive hotel rooms nearby....and we'll have a HUGE deck....AND a sauna to party with!!!! We can just meet in the room where the swimming pool and the hot tub are (there's also a sauna and a fitness room!) I'll be there after the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner are over, but feel free to start without me!!!!! suz, ya might check with the hotel first to make sure we can take 'refreshments' into the pool area
