Yes, smurfette, it's tiring because you are having to be a mother to someone who COULD do things on his own, but willingly does not...and then gets mad at YOU for being mature and responsible. I remember it got to where it made me tired even THINKING about all that. Using "believing" or the bible or anything else to justify immature behavior is revolting.

That's called delusion. When one refuses to face reality and chooses to "spiritualize" things that REALLY need to be planned for and taken care of, it is a problem that might need professional intervention. God gave us brains and expects us to use them. My ex did this ALL the time....would even get rid of all of our furniture because he was tired of it and, "God would provide" It was very sad, very illogical, and served no purpose at all. Taking care of what needs attention is common sense. Yep...I got headaches. It was a b*tch...but one of the teachers I worked with who'd quit guided me to a cup of coffee...something about the caffeine and some advil. Just had to be careful bout frequency so that the caffeine wouldn't take the place of cigs.

Well, I haven't been on both sides because I was the one who filed, they are both hard because it's a seriously hard thing to go through. It's difficult to say...on the one hand, filing is harder because you have to get all the paperwork and info together at a time when you are very, very upset. Then you have to go give it to your lawyer and sign papers, etc. On the other hand, if you are served and you are not expecting to be, it could be very difficult. If you ARE expecting it...it is still very difficult, but at least you did not have to go through all the paperwork storm. So to answer your question, Xena...I'm not sure.

Well gosh, I sure HOPE my kids rebel!!! And to that end, we are teaching them HOW to rebel so that they don't fall in with those kids who rebel in a way that is dangerous to themselves and others. I'm SO glad whenever I see that spark of a rebel in their eyes...because it means that they will never allow a cult or a spouse to use and control them. Yep...we're raisin a bunch of rebels and we're damned proud of it.
