I JUST SAW A COMMERCIAL FOR THE WAY INTERNATIONAL ON MSNBC!!
JeffMedic replied to RottieGrrrl's topic in About The Way
ah, yes......do indeed. And the house. Has it been sold i guess? "There is no use trying" said Alice, "one can't believe impossible things". "I dare say, you haven’t had much practice" said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast". -
To any and ALL: WOW, God certainly is bigger than you / me or ANY orginization. I'm thankful for even the painful moments (like lcm telling me to leave the 7th corp; otherwise it would have taken me through alot more bull#@%* and unneeded pain) and my trust in God not men. I never would have made it without you Lord. "There is no use trying" said Alice, "one can't believe impossible things". "I dare say, you haven?t had much practice" said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast".

I would like to add that Doug is not only doing what he believes is right and good, but doing so for the benefiet of others. I dare say he is what a true man of God ought to be/do. "There is no use trying" said Alice, "one can't believe impossible things". "I dare say, you haven?t had much practice" said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. i have been studying and utilizing herbs since the early 70's and vitamins and minerals for about 15 years. As a healthcare professional i have seen much success using these items only. However, of great concern to me is the way friends tell friends who tell friends they should take such and such and "this also". These drugs although often not nearly as potent as our present day pharmaceuticals should not be blindly mixed and matched. The early time naturopaths and herbalists taught that very plainly. They can cause serious damage to you various systems should you do so. Also, it is commonly known that certain minerals block absorption of other vitamins and minerals. I'm all for self care. I believe that is the most important accomplisment of the physician; TEACH the patient how to care for himself and thus his / her family. I only wish folks would do some indepth study prior to spreading the half known truth about various herbs. I don't know how many people i've heard from that are on a steady diet of echanacia. That's NOT the method. It triggers an immune response. It fails to trigger anything at all if you continue to take it non stop. So, i utilize herbs and vitamins first w/ excercise. Try to keep my thoughts positive. BUT when all symptoms or signs do not improve i go to the Dr. "There is no use trying" said Alice, "one can't believe impossible things". "I dare say, you haven?t had much practice" said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast".

I loved God and the bible since i was a young man. Then became involved with tw. I appreciate having immersed myself in the scriptures during tw period. I learned from other christians many, many things. I grew in my personal relationship with God. Met some whom were men and women of principle. The bad: i now longer want to fellowship in a structured setting. I believe it is the perfect setting for RELIGION. I'm taken back how many of us put our heart and souls into handling the word of God honestly while those responsable to us and for us refused to. I did not, nor do i now think it is "sinful" to error in interpretaion. I do believe it is sinful to ignore or refuse to take a second closer look at our "research", less we be found WRONG. I am appalled and hurt that while many of us gladly cared for others and the ministry, another group cared only for themselves and led many others down the path of self deception, dishonesty and ultimately only concerned about covering their tracks. "There is no use trying" said Alice, "one can't believe impossible things". "I dare say, you haven?t had much practice" said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast". [This message was edited by JeffMedic on November 09, 2003 at 3:55.]

EVERYTIME i saw Dr. make that statement he was reading from the Bible. "There is no use trying" said Alice, "one can't believe impossible things". "I dare say, you haven?t had much practice" said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast".

Harve, do you get it yet? Become willing to CHANGE. Think outside the box. Question the ways interpretation..woops i ment research. Whatever, be willing to say i, we have been wrong biblicly and moraly. (i'm not referring to any one incident) Take a second honest, unbiased look as when we all showed up at the way. Don't let fear of your cohorts, loss of job, loss of respect hinder you. GOD hath not given us the spirit of fear... where's yours coming from Harve? Life is much to important to be taken seriously.

ok, ok, i read SOME of hp's response. The very beggining says it all. READ BETWEEN THE LINES. They are responding in the same forum? He used his own webpage. TWI, USE YOUR WEBPAGE, NOT GS!!. i thought this was a forum for twiERS and ex twi ers. NOT a mouthpiece for the way international. Everyone here, who has left twi knows the bottom line. By experience and comparison to the word of God. We have found twi lacking and so left or got thrown out for continuing to do that which was right and good in the sight of the Lord. I say; twi, if you've got any guts put it on your website, right next to your explanation of the lcm incident. You havn't got a hair if you don't put 'em BOTH up there for all to read. Life is much to important to be taken seriously.

come on, twi's playing pick and choose. NOT intrested in ANYTHING they have to say. I'll read the letter for laughs. It's BS When they call back all the good, honest and Godly corp people they canned and step down themselves, i'll believe twi has changed. As far as i'm concerned it's all just press. Will NEVER matter if they're communicating inteligable facts or not. The whole picture is what counts!! Mark and Avoid lcm. Throw out all literature he wrote also. Don't pick and choose. Begin doing all your own yard and house work. Don't pick and choose. Level the pay field. Don't pick and choose. (include EVERY benifiet) Make a right of way for access to the EX wayers to the burial site in the woods. Don't pick and choose. twi, LIVE THE WORD, don't pick and choose. That is the last organization i'll EVER trust. Life is much to important to be taken seriously.

No, i took pfal when the first wave of wow's came through Annapolis. Carol, Annette, Dianne......Darlene and one more that went with Bob Fortner for awhile. I left the way the first time from the 7th corps. I had a gut feeling then that lcm was out of control. I did not know he was out of fellowship until i returned to staff to help build the auditorium. I left after Dr. W. death and have been getting happier and more blessed. Still live in the area. WAS best friends with Paul Brooks prior to my entering the way. Saw Chris Brooks several years ago. Paul had cut him off altogether. Paul has not spoken to me since leaving staff (in a hurry). Still talk with Annette the wow's husband Tom Cook. They are in Colorado. Dianne the wow, married Carl from baltimore. Never heard anything more from them. there's more if anyone is really intrestedd Life is much to important to be taken seriously.

What kind of books do you read now?

i'm following in the footsteps of THE great mog, clm, exalted one, all loving and GIVING. therfore i'm reading the literature that portrays his lifestyle. Reading "hustler". NOT just had to say it. Life is much to important to be taken seriously. -
well, marylander. pfal 1973 or 4?

I spoke with David. He and Candice are still married. They are counselors in the school system. He sounds well but busy as usual.

i have a habit of saving thingsssss came across two builders badges. Had forgotten that we were "way builders" and then became "auditorium builders"

this is the stuff I love to hear. The guts and heart of REAL men (AND WOMAN). Brotherhood and standing up for oneanother regardless of whom we must wihtstand. God Bless 'em all!!

No, i would say i got back to hq about the time they began pouring the first floor of the auditorium. i left they way altogether my 2nd year of the 7th corps. So i did a bunch of construction in emporia my first 4 months in residence. I'm glad i helped build the auditorium. I met a bunch of guys that were fun, wonderful and excellent tradesman. I do however feel as Christopher depicted Dr.s feelings as revealed to Christopher one day as Dr sat on his golf cart....somthing to the effect of "if i could i would (or ought to) get on that dozer and push the entire thing over" "this place is just turning into a religious order" That was the year i recognized that craig was so far off the word that he was simply spouting .... to empower himself. That's when i began praying for the fakes downfall. (HEY craig!, YOU STILL THINK WE'RE (JUST) the "prairie boys". If you're reading this THAT is God's power, booted you out of his seat (ya, i know you think you deserved his!)and onto the devils footstool, you arrogant oakie bumkin. Christopher will always be ok. He was God's gift to me that year we completed the auditorium. We had sooooo much fun. Paul was and probably always will be a closed minded, "leadership is always right" kinda guy (even when they are WRONG, off the word and screwing you). i wish he would wake up, 48 is a bit old to be doing the crap their asking him to do AND to be believing your following God's "man". I do wish him well. Jeff

Christopher was actually living about 5 miles from me...... can't find him last i looked however. Chris was married again and seemed as happy as Chris ever is! Chris did tell me that Paul had instructed him NOT to attempt to contact him for at least 10 years....... THAT sounds like Paul.. Paul was my best friend prior to the way. We were also business partners. Chris, Paul and i all lived together, in a house in annapolis, md. Chris went into the 6th corp, i into the 7th and Paul into the 8th..... I must know you if you floated between crews as i was on the concrete crew. take care Jeff

So George, am i correct in reading that those you heard were meeting Buddy in Ga. had all seperated themselves from "the way"? I can hardly see Buddy staying untill the late 80's. But i guess he finished the residence housing on the North side huh? I KNEW it was time to go for me when they told me my wife could either work...(no she could not spend the summer with the kids while they were out of school) or i could find a new job."..and i don't mean sometime, i mean monday morning!" WE HAD JUST STOPPED INTO international for a little fellowship ON THE WEEKEND, while out for a mc ride That was my old business partner, Paul Brooks. Said it was Terry Baders decision and final! i said "oh..., no problem, if thats the way it is, she'll work" I then went in to see Fred? in acct/payroll, Told him i was due a vacation, got my weeks pay for expenses. Picked up a u haul, loaded and left. That was either 85 or 86, but after Dr died anyway.
