Moving day at Emporia-the worst. Moving around the country-I never had too many possessions, so no biggy. I considered the day I bought a car that I couldn't fit all my possessions in a major victory-and the final mental break from TWI!

I remembered why I starting watching Idol-to try to catch up with "today's" music. And this from a gal whose idea of a must read is Mike Wallace's memoir. Yeah, Paris made it worth the watch-I didn't know the song so I had nothing to compare it too, but at least she acted her age. Come to think of it, didn't Simon at one point encourage her to do just that-and then blasts her last night for it? As for the rest-something must have been in their oatmeal-it was painful to watch.

So what were the TWI requirements for ordination? The ones they named or taught about, not the under the table reasons.

You're close, Tom-figure out what kind of pickles, rearrange your guesses, and you've got it.

If my son was running around the world looking for artifacts, I might seek asylum in another country with my submarine. That's the Chicago way.

Actually, it's next to one of those idyllic small hill country towns-New Braunfels. It's claim to fame was its nothingness-just a grist mill. But the mill closed and the town was deserted, until somebody stumbles on the remains and thought-"Hey-a future tourist trap!". It's the location of Gruene Hall-beer and dance hall featured occasionally in some country videos. The mill was turned into a restuarant and, for a while, developed a "coffehouse" atmosphere where local musicians could play. It was next the Guadalupe, and before the hordes decend upon the town for river rafting, it was the perfect place to spend an April evening. I lived in New Braunfels for 10 years, and it was a fun place to get away, have a drink, play pool, grap some ribs, look at the stars, listen to the river.... It's built up a bit-been a while since I've been there, so I imagine it's commercilized more than anyone can stand, but it was a great place for a date or evening with buds. I miss it.

Well, we could just pray......

You guys are making me homesick. Very, very homesick. Ever been to Gruene?

Father of the Bride? Nah-where would sand-paper fit in-unless you're thinking of the mother in law.

Define "They". -
Wouldn't it be funny if L. Ron Hubbard plagerized VP-then put his twist on it?

Yeah, always liked that folksy grin of his. Loved Hee Haw. God bless him.

Mine just leave me little presents all over the house. It's hell having an old cat (I have two) -but they are sweet (sorta).

There were COLORING books????????? Glad I never saw it. I'd rather be tied to chair and forced to watch Beavis & Butthead a thousand times. -
Have a great one, Sir!
