I just got this book for a birthday present from a dear friend who is also ex-twi. She said it is great and she could not put it down. She finished it at 2am Sunday. I will join the discussion after reading it.

Thanks, PD. Baby is asleep but will wake up anytime. We go to our knitting circle on Tuesdays, and all the ladies love ISAIAH. He smiles and says HI to all of them. He is a charmer. Then we go to lunch. Every week, at least one lady comments on how good he is. I always wanted a baby but things did not work out for me, much to my dismay, but God has blessed my life with Sarah and Isaiah. I have lots of nieces and nephews, but Isaiah is the only one that I have watched on a daily basis for this long. We have a white sleigh crib and clothes, etc in our home. He spends the nite with us and he wakes up happy. His mommy and daddy are thankful that we are a big part of his life. TWI did not ruin my life, but I made decisions based on their crappy teachings and guidance that I wish I could change. But I can't and life goes on. OK, I am rambling. Sorry.

Hey, RG. I am pretty sure it is on regular tv, NBC, I think. Hubby controls the remote so I will ask him tonite. If it is different, I will let you know. Melissa has a fantastic voice. She has lost over 70# during the 10 wks that she has been in Nashville. She has a hubby and 5 BOYS at home in Arlington, TX. Gabe is also from TX. He is very good. He is Hispanic and John Rich (one of the judges, along with Jewel, and a songwriter named Jeff) said last nite that he is definitely needed in Nashville. Shawn is from IA. She has blossomed in the past 8-10 wks. The show has been coming on at 8 pm, but next week, it will be 9pm central. Aug 8 & 9 is our annual bluegrass festival, which is free and has been for over 20 years. I love LIVE MUSIC!!!

RG, you can call me Acts 2 if you want to!!!!!!!!! I chose 'act2' simply because I felt I was in the 2nd stage of my life. Act 1 was finally over and I was ready to start a new act!!!!!!!!!!! God has blessed me with Sarah and Isaiah, that is for sure. Belle, what a beautiful hat. You all can find the best pictures to post. I can just post my pictures!!!!!!! Oh well.

You are doing a great job, Pawtucket. One saying I believe if everyone would follow, we would have no problems at all: DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE THEM DO UNTO YOU!!!!!!! I think this is found in the Bible or somewhere!!!!! Just my humble opinion

Hello. Tonite was the next to last show of this year's Nashville Star. I like all 3 finalists but had to cast my vote for Melissa Lawson as I believe that Shawn and Gabe will go far without winning!! Next Monday the show comes on at 9 Central. Guess I will have to take a nap so I can stay up and watch it!!!!!! Who is your favorite and why??????????/

dmiller and Mark and everyone, Thanks. I have led a pretty unremarkable life, I guess. Have always gotten plenty of rest and hardly ever drink, don't smoke, etc. Anyway Thanks for the compliment!! I did have a good birthday. I have so much to be thankful for. The Way International did not ruin my life. God is good.

Haven't gotten it yet, but I plan on getting it soon. I plan on reading it and then passing it on to as many people as I can that I know in my hometown that were once involved with The Way International.

Rainbows Girl, I love Alan Jackson. We saw him at the Grand Ole Opry in March 2007. Love that video also. Thanks again. WB, Hubby has let Isaiah's daddy 'borrow' one of his guitars. He is teaching guitar lessons with it. (Isaiah's daddy is married to my niece.)

Thank all of you for your birthday wishes. I have had a great birthday week, I guess you would say. I am thankful to all of you at the GS Cafe and look forward to the time when I am not as busy as I am right now, though, I LOVE taking care of my 14 month old nephew. He is like the grandchild that I will never have as I never had children. He is a handful but is such a blessing to our lives. We also had the priviledge of having our godchild Sarah visit us earlier this month. She loves Isaiah too!! Thank you all again.

I took the 'class' in SeventyFive Right away, I heard the Jive Go WOW, Go WOW NOW Got sent to Cajun's Holy Ground Some people listened, then said BYE BYE. ThirtyThree Years have now passed But I stayed through the POOP blast, Then came: Purge the Household, Purge it NOW Walked away & have since learned how To love God & for His forgiveness, I've asked. No longer believe the law of believing Do believe someone was deceiving Set out with a plan for a great following Years later, many were left wallowing But with Greasespot's help are now ACHIEVING!!!!!!

I finally had the chance to listen to this!!! Thank you, Pawtucket and Ralph!! During 1986-1987, I was out of touch, so to speak, as hubby and I were building our home (after working all day at our jobs), then 6 months later, we were divorcing!! So many things went unnoticed due to all of this. I appreciate your honesty and solid information, Ralph. It was strange to listen to. It is not just the folks involved in twi now that need to hear this; there are tons of people who still worship VP and his words. I found that out when I starting selling my 'way' stuff on ebay. The people were extremely nice and thoughtful, gave me great feedback. BUT they are so BLINDED as many of us once were. I did tell a few about Greasespot Cafe. One person acknowledged that she was a lurker, and one acknowledged that she posted on GS but still wanted 'way' books etc. Again, thanks to both of you!!!!!!!!!!!!

I sold mine of ebay. There are many people on ebay who pay big bucks for anything 1985 or before.

Nathan, Sudo, and PurpleDays, Congratulations to all of you. Nathan, way to go!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep up the good work.

Hello, Catcup. I started the class this month 33 years ago. Went wow, etc..... I walked away in 1994 basically intact, at least I thought so. It was not until Waydale and then Greasespot that I realized how screwed up I was. Now I know I was involved in a terribly destructive cult and I can admit it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for all your informative and well-written posts. Keep posting!!!!

Happy Belated Birthday, MSTAR!!!! I do enjoy reading your posts. I love your stained glass pictures that you have shown us.

Happy Birthday, Purple Days!!! I hope it is the best day of your life so far!!!!!!!!

At my husband's auto repair shop, they have installed 3 of the hydrogen sets on their vehicles. Tech # 1 was getting 17 mpg, now 40 mpg. Tech # 2 is still tweaking his so no definite info yet, Hubby's Explorer was getting 18 mpg, before any tweaking, he is getting 25 mpg. Today, they will be doing some tweaking to it. They had just installed it Friday afternoon before closing. (Before the installation, he fueled up, drove 25 miles on the parkway, took an exit and returned for a total of 50 miles round trip, fueled up at the same pump, drove the same exact route, mph, slowed down at the same spots, etc, refueled and had gotten 25 mpg.) They will be installing one on my Jag this week, I hope. There is maintenance involved on this so it is not for the person who just gets in their car and drives and never checks fluids, etc. That is about all I know on the subject. Ask me about my 11 1/2 month old great nephew and I can talk for days!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for your reply, cman. I just found out last nite that a friend of the bride's family can get it done for us through her company. Again, thanks.

Hi. We just returned from our niece's wedding in Nashville. I used my brother's camcorder and used mini dvd-rws. We took the mini dvd's to the niece's sister's house where the wedding took place and she accidentally reformatted the first dvd. Is there any way that I can retrieve the video once reformatting has taken place? If so, how??? Will be heading to bed shortly, but will check for replies in the morning. The bride is going to be very disappointed if her wedding video has been forever and ever amen deleted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Dot. I am not on here much now that I watch my baby nephew 5+ days a week, and some nights!!! But I have read your story and have prayed much for you!!! If you ever come near here, please let me know and I will meet you. Hubby and and I want to come to your hometown to go to the aquarium and also my baby nephew's grandparents live there. You are a strong, wonderful lady. Remind yourself of that everyday. You are a child of God's and that is a very important thing!!!
