You have to know what is available You have to now how to receive. You have to know what to do after you got it. Believing (yours) = receiving. Without rehashing the whole believing issue, in the end whatever the mechanics one chooses to get the desired result God is still the one who moves first in that we have something to believe. And then say you have to confess Jesus as Lord to be 'born again'. Being born again is the work of the spirit continually. You operate the spirit, NO, the spirit operates in you. There is a case for both in scripture All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills. I Corinthians 12:11 1 Corinthians 14:32 and the spirits of prophets are subject to prophets. You reach up to 'daddy's cookie jar'. Yeah, right, fantasizing is what it is and was. Mind games. Thoughts imagined, not given. Your experience is not the same as others, you cant speak for all by your experience. Ask, is what is demanded. No questions, no answers. To Ask is a request not a demand We were given answers that answered questions that were given to us. And not from the heart of the asker. In some cases and in others not. I could say the same about school. A god was formed before our minds in twi. Did anything happen or change to prove to ourselves that God is real? Was there any actual contact? I see George's point from the atheist thread. The Way stop cold the freedom to explore the spiritual and relied upon someone telling us how God works. And we bought it. Not trying to be hateful spiteful or deter growth, but to look in other directions. How many really experienced the presence of God and see him as promised by the what Jesus said? I believe so, then again my experience is not a guarantee for truth for you.

Thats not what I learned, I was taught that God moved first, we believe and act, then God moves again. God was the prime mover not us.

Congratulations !! It's about time you made a honest man of him......

Actually John's aunt did discourage John. Little did she know.......... "John...John...John Winston Lennon!," John's aunt Mimi yelled up from the bottom of the stairs. John was upstairs in his bedroom struggling to learn to play his first guitar. "John, come down...your friend Pete is here." As John came running down the stairs with guitar in hand, Aunt Mimi reminded him "The guitar is alright John, but you'll never earn a living at it!"

Mstar is right about the self promotion, I talked to Jim a couple of times he seemed like a good guy, but we never sold more than the original order I don't think. That method works fairly well if you have an established name most of the former Joyful Noise/Way Productions musicians still self promote their CD's. Having a web site like most do today would have benefited Jim. By the way I just got this from S*l Ar*co for his new CD if anyone is interested. Home Again

Oh by the way the song Eye of the Storm is NOT the same one as on the Called Out tape that you also had for sale. You might let your buyers know in case they were buying the tape for that song. MR. Garth of course it was Coke............. Say after me.... In the beginning God created Coke and it was very good. Fizz 4:2 Act 2 - if you run across "Diane and the Ephesians" I'll go for double Jeopardy. Yes..... it was a real tape..... I swear I don't make this S**t Up.........

I'll take Way Music for $500.00 to complete the board........... Hat Lady the tape you have Spiritual Shades was not a band that is the name of the tape. It was a post exodus tape done by Jim Braunreuthler all songs were Written, Arranged, Produced and Performed by Jim. The tape was done in 1988. His wife Karen did the cover design and Heather Jennings did the cover art. The tape was recorded at Music Lab in Tampa Florida the cover was printed at Sunstate Printing also in Tampa. It was rather an obscure tape you probably wont see many around we had a dozen or so in our bookstore I think . They were not much as I remember price wise around $6.00 or $7.00 dollars. I might be able to tell you what Jim had for lunch while recording it if necessary. I win ....I win..... now send me my new CAR............

Here are the first paragraphs of an old Way Magazine article by VPW. I wonder how they justify this action with the founding presidents opposite view? The_Way.pdf

I would guess that people encourage forgiveness because it is a Biblical perspective. Other peoples actions toward us should not determine our behavior. Forgiveness has nothing to do with the other person. It is our response, to our love for God and obedience to the scriptures. From the cross Jesus prayed for his Father to forgive those responsible for putting him through the most horrendous ,sadistic, torture imaginable. Did these men deserve forgiveness? Did they repent and ask for forgiveness? Was forgiveness the just response for their actions? And yet Jesus forgave them and asked his Father to do the same, because God reigned in his heart and because of his desire to to do his fathers will. We have Christ in us, enabling us to live the holy life as he lived. "Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you." Ephesians 4:31,32 I believe that many times people wrongly base their forgiveness on ,if they think the offender should be forgiven. Jesus said in Matthew 5:43, 44 "Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;" Often we hear but he does not deserve to be forgiven, it's not fair ,what about justice? ..... Jesus did not concern himself with justice and God does not tell us to be either. If you are looking for justice in this lifetime you had better pack a large lunch because you are in for a long journey. Jesus committed himself to Him that judges righteously, he is the just judge not you or I. In the end God will bring forth justice. As people often say ,it will all come out in the wash, and one day there will be a very large load of laundry done. Forgiveness is not the same as trust, or friendship, to forgive is not to forsake good sense or wisdom either. God never tells us to trust everyone. Trusting and fellowshipping with someone that continues to hurt us very well could end up jeopardizing our spiritual walk with God. Of course this all looks good on paper but the practical application is indeed at times very hard for us as humans. And yet we have the example of our brother Jesus. who forgave the physical abuse the mental abuse, the hurt and pain of which few if any have seen since. Get over it is a modern phrase not a biblical one per say, we even have a holiday now Get Over It Day March 9th. Getting over it is not synonymous with forgetting it . But it is about moving on in life. My parents are both dead now ,it was a sad time when they passed away, and at times it is a sad time on certain occasions. And yet life goes on one can't remain stuck in time, most days I don't think of it. They would not have wanted me to live my life consumed in the grief of the moment of their death, its not healthy. As Christians we are to encourage others to live according to scripture, and while that does not mean beating someone over the head with them, it can at times include a loving push to get another moving down the road of life other times not. As doojable said it is a fine balance at times what to do. One thing for certain is that those who work in the health industry know that there are benefits from a life of forgiveness and consequences from a life of non forgiveness. The world we live in has a seemingly endless number of ways for causing pain and it's not always easy to take the high road of forgiveness at times ,but it is in our best interest for a healthy physical and spiritual life.

Given the restraints and the time frame you were propably pushing the edge at the time. Listen today to "I wanna hold your hand " or other early Beatles stuff which was the edge, and you see how much time has moved the edge. Most of the Way Productions folks have done a far superior job doing their own production work. Check out Leon's Still Got Him tracks I think he has come a long ways since. Some may not like the lyric content but the musicis vastly improved. Here

Well I did buy the jumbo bag of sponges to soak it all up I must confess. But the screen name was a clue Well lets see you guys did that tape in 83 hard to believe it was that long ago.. So next year will be the 25th Anniversary boxed set edition release with rare tracks and out takes? With liner notes and DVD of the session recording? Of course I will expect the autograph set. Seriously I always loved the tape myself liked the cover of Love Lifted Me and the Cue of Fire.

Yet another sad case of cruelty on a defenseless animal. Help Gizmo send the message that this kind of action needs to stop. "Crawford is accused of "punting" the animal like a football while Davis held the dog to the ground, laughing when the dog landed, dead. " Click
