Nope The origional question was pretty simple. Getting lonely and wondering about checking out CFF. Anyone here fellowship with them? Pretty simple. Anyone (Any person) here (on this board) fellowhip with them? (A close association of friends or equals sharing similar interests) that being CFF. She did not ask about abuse in the Way or civic duty or working at an animal shelter. I made no statements concerning cff pro or con Then what was the point of this and who were you talking about? The thread subect was remember? CFF. Sometimes it can be rewarding as well as an excellent opportunity for learning, and healing to fellowship with people who live it in their daily lives, rather than sitting in a meeting where folks are teaching the same old thing we have been hearing for 30 years You implied that the civic serving people are "living it" while the Bible fellowship(the thread subject was CFF remember)just sits around teaching the same old stuff. It is a backhanded slap. I think the only people that have a real problem with this are those who still insist upon trying to shove the shoe that fits on their foot onto everybody else.... Excuse me! it is you who tried to shove your shoe on our foot. She did not ask about the things you posted on. You decided that she needed to consider something besides what she asked about(your Shoe) Read again the question was I'm thinking about this shoe(CFF)do any of you know anything about it? No one was shoving any shoe on anyones foot. Just a question

Chas I have no advice for you only a song. Perhaps this is what he really meant to say. Maybe it's about missing you... "Sometimes it's so hard to admit that I'm last in line around here. Such is the fate of a father,I suppose. But if the truth be told, instead of hiding out inside my head,I'd rather run away with you Still ! " -Kenny Loggins ____________________________________________ "I Miss Us" (Kenny Loggins) Look at us And the life that we made Oh, darlin I wouldn't trade a single thing Still in love But I can't help dream about yesterday Oh yesterday I miss Sunday mornings free and easy Lazy days and endless evenings I really thought somehow That I'd be over it by now And I miss lying in your arms till morning With nothing on our minds but making love Baby most of all I miss us Like a child I know it is selfish to say But sometimes I want you all to myself For a while Couldn't we go back and play in yesterday Oh yesterday Walking on the beach alone together Sunsets that would last forever No where else to be Side by side just you and me And I miss lying in your arms til morning With nothing on our minds but making love Baby most of all I miss us All that we have given up Has all come back as love I know thats what family is about Still I miss Sunday mornings free and easy Lazy days and endless evenings I know we'll survive But it is eating me alive And I miss lying in your arms till morning With nothing on our minds but making love I can't hold it back another minute I'm embrassed to admit it But I still want to be your everything I know all that life has given us Is way more than enough But darlin' I can't help myself I just love you too much Baby most of all I miss us. Absolutely not!! I don't think so either they are not. Then again Biblical fellowship should not be viewed a threat because of past groups actions either. Nor should it rule out the possibility that one could find people who are living shining examples of it in their lives at fellowship either just like one maybe could at the dog shelter ...

Possibly Rascal but honestly you see it as a comfort zone that needs fixing but that is not true for everyone. Maybe because as you say you have had enough meetings and scripture readings, classes, tapes, mags to last a lifetime, and its boring to you. Fair enough!!But not everyone shares your view. The Bible can be exciting lots of things to learn and relearn. As they say if it works don't fix it. ------------------------------------------------ Quote: How are women and children treated in their group? Not being one and having limited interaction I'll defer on this one maybe Catcup could share her perspective.

Correct but the fact that she was looking at CFF leads me to believe that she was looking for something that was not available in civic/humane locations generally. I think Smurf is smart enough to know what options are available at each. It is a logical conclusion that she was looking more along the lines of Fellowship, but she did not say for sure hense the if in my post. Quote: You did not say what you are lonely for exactly if it is Bible fellowship then the civic/humane things won't fill that void.

Oldies you could just ask if you bite they may not be so inclined to give you one.. You can reach them here the request link is on the page. http://www.cffm.org/doc/contact.shtml

I have done some things with the CFF group in MO. And also had Reaserch Geek who posts here on GS sometimes come out to teach a couple of times. Some have said they quote VPW all the time but I have not found that to be the case at least for me. My experience was quite enjoyable. They will send you the weekly CD teaching at no cost if you are interested. You did not say what you are lonely for exactly if it is Bible fellowship then the civic/humane things won't fill that void.

Quote: Now I exclude White Dove from the possibility of being in with you other 'gentlemen'...because I know White Dove just wants to see me get busted for hooking... HAHAHA.....But it's not me you have to worry about seeing you. It's those other photographs that might be a problem. Then again Paw was looking for some test photo's to post....Hmmmmm

Maybe George but they did not change the words to the Star Spangled Banner. They passed off their version as the Ohio state song it was not. Change the lyrics to a Beatles song and record it and see how long before you hear from the record company.

I would say No he does not . Yes, Yes, Yes to the other three questions. The apostle Paul is a good example look at the evil and death he did because he thought he was serving God.

Rascal From the Corps notes on Ephesians 1973-1974 VPW Apostle: Carries new light to his generation might be old or previous light but it is new to the generation he speaks to. Prophet: Speaks for God in the very essence of the Old Test. Prophets who said "Thus saith the Lord" Foretelling- is incidental not primary to the ministry of a prophet. Then he adds the footnote In the Gospels, it does not talk of Jesus Christ as an apostle, prophet, ect it talks of him taking the people aside and teaching them. Any man called of God will at times operate all five. But the greatest and foundation of the five is the teaching ministry and the love of the pastor who takes care of the people. So to answer your question I would think VPW thought of himself as a teacher hense the Biblical teaching and research ministry....

Sniff Sniff... Say it isn't so!!!! WordWolfs thread reminded me of this. Last weekend while poking around an antique store here I found it. Now I really was not looking for any,but as I passed my eye somehow was drawn to it Sheet music. Yep there it was right in front Beautiful Ohio. Ok I admit it I had to buy it!!! After all it was an important piece of research and only a dollar. Well I opened the sealed wraper expecting to see those old familiar words... But sniff... they were no where to be found. Yep plagiarized again. the last bit of originality gone before my very eyes. The sheet music is pretty cool though the back reads Mary Earl, writter of the biggest song hits to the music world. The tune all America is humming (somehow I doubt that) The bottom reads this song available on all Phonograph and music rolls ask your dealer for them for your player piano.... Well I have been laughing all week at God's sense of humor. Not even the rock theme song was original..... sniff Ok Belle I promised I would post this for you so here it is.

You know I always found it interesting when I first became involved with the Way they used to carry many of those books in the bookstore,Kenyon,Bulinger,Welch and others. Then they disappeared as the PFAL books became more prominent. At the time I did not really think much about it because at least on tapes and live teachings VP did give acknowledgement to them. He should have footnoted it in the books. Awile back I was talking to St*v* S*nn about BG Leonard. And that whole mess when BG came to Hdq the year VPW died. It was st*v* that invited him. He says with trustee approval. It was Craig that fipped out when he saw people gathered around him. Even though Craig had been president for awile now that VP was out of the picture, I think all Craig saw was people leaving after other ministries. Craig did what he had seen done years before which was get rid of the origional. Just like the books disappeared did so did BG. St*v* said he was supposed to speak at the rock but Craig canned it.
