  1. Still haven't figured out if I will be able to go tomarrow. Flow7, if you can email me your info I will try to make it. The email addy on in profile is good.
  2. I have a relative that received a letter at work from the CFO of TWI. Apparntly someone didn't call Ms. Utility or Mr. Locator and broke one of her company's gas lines. Oops! They sent a letter saying that they knew about it and that they would pay for it. Oh well, more hard earned innie ABS down the drain. The name of the CFO was new to me. Have they changed management recently? (don't remember his name off hand)
  3. Yep Roy, supposedly "Your welcome at The Way" used to mean anyone could come and be loved. Now it seems they are just assuming someone is going to say "Thank You". -->
  4. Actually I think she needs to start a new theme for the ear of Rosieness. something like "The Decade of Super-Hyper Abstruse Power and Profundity" or "The Decade of Settlements"
  5. or Way Leaders and others during a contontation after I got mugged: "We're not trying to blame you, But...."
  6. My favorite... Bless Patrol: "Lova ya , bless ya, GO HOME!"
  7. BTW, PhotoJoe If you are still lurking and posting here. What are your thoughts on your new format and it's restrictions? Are you happy you're allowed to visit us here even though twi leadership advises it's followers otherwise?
  8. This whole thing is just sad and pathetic. I hope you realise that photodude.
  9. I have a few stories but, there were some good ones too. But "especially good"? I don't think so. What was so especially good about any of the decent things they did. It should have been worded "be good to the household and an a$$ to most everyone else".
  10. ya know what else is priceless? The Italian film festival in Little Italy. A film on the side of a building free popcorn free icetea free canolis from the best pastry joint in town It's the best free night you can get. Well, except for those naked ones. ;)-->
  11. I'm still working on this one. I'll let ya'll know as soon as I can.
  12. This thread has really been a great blessing to my life. You're the best! You know it seems now days "spiritual decisions" aren't made so much for you, rather you are "counciled" so that you can make a spiritual decision for yourself. Translation: We remind you of your spiritual goals and tell you what we think you should do. It is up to you whether or not you will obey that "wise council". --> No pressure.
  13. My Ps were told by thier leader that he "could see them getting married". Later they talked over thier goals, went on one date, and got married just before we went out WOW as a new family. YIKES! My bro and sis-in-law were married after graduating from the kork. His whole kork seemed to be pressured a little to get married. I think he wanted to get married to two other ladies but they both were dropped before anything cam of it. Seems I'm the only one in our family who married for love. I thought I wanted to marry twice while an innie. One split after the second session of the WAP Class, the other was long distance and broke it off with me on my bithday shortly before I was to move to her area. Thanks for saving me the plane fare. While we were dating and after my leaders were telling me to date someone in our area or our state. That left me with a choice of two or three girls, all late teens or under twenty one. At the time the maturity gap was significant. Not a lot of choices. Perhaps the lack of available ladies made it easier for me to leave. I for my brothers it would be a lot harder for them to leave (even though they seem to want to, at least to me) because they are either married to gung ho women or are in a serious relationship with a hard core innie.
  14. Just for the record, My door don't swing that way.
  15. I forgot about the TP Vickles. and if you could try and take two minute showers as well. Your usually spiritually clean enough after two minutes. :D--> or at least it keeps the spiritual water bill down to a needs basis. My wife always smiles at my smooth way of doing things, like pealing a banana and cutting it into my cereal bowl. Thank you Way Corps training. I knew it would be good for something...like impressing the ladies She always tells me I should have my own cooking show.
  16. But then I remembered... of course it doen't work that way with the rest of that evil debt. Of course school loans to pay for higher education many times means that you can get a better job and make more money. Then again, that could also be solved by just believing really hard. ;)-->
  17. As nice as it sounds, I don't think that twi wanted people to be debt free so they could milk them for more money. For the simple fact that when you rent you loose money and when you buy you make money, almost all the time. They could demand that people ABS on any profits made by selling thier house. Once you sell you basically make back any money you have spent...you've lived for free. If this truly was thier motive, theyz wasin a to asmart. They really missed out on this most recent real estate boom.
  18. "...and the clouds parted and the sun shown down upon our street corner, so that we could wash those cars all day..." Was a story I once heard. I guess God was really upset about all those dirty cars in that little dirt bowl town in dirt bowl Texas. After all, when things are dirty they attract devil spirits. So keep your room, and house, and car, and clothes, and especially your undies (don't want the devil gettin in there) cleaner than the guys forehead in the front row of the auditorium after wiping LCM's spit off his face. Did you see how I used "many ands". Its a figure. Please save your questions for the end of my post. I jumped on the numerics band wagon. I was also on a spiritual definition mission. They were great ways to wow everyone at the release sessions...and an easy way too. Now? None Not at all. The Verd as we all know has everything that pertains to life and Godliness, which makes everything spiritual, which means that our spiritual-leaders-in-da-Verd had the right, nay the responsibility to correct us and if at all possible control our every move. "Now receive the card with your right hand, switch it to your left, and then shake with your right"...because your left hand is the hand of poo-poo wiping. You know when I graduated thousands of other people were able to make it thru without anyone telling them how to receive a diploma, yet twits felt like we needed to be hand held and spoon fed the whole way thru. We became dependent on them to tell us what to do. How to tie your shoe? I don't know get some wise council. What they failed to tell me was to wipe with my left hand. I couldn't figure that one out on my own. lol Suckers. They want a piece of my foot? They've had it whether they knew it or not. Hopefully they washed before they ate.
  19. How do I handle reproof? I usually say something to the effect of ... .... OFF you f*cking retard! but that is just me.
  20. JohnUR, Actually, John, you know me, I don't think there is anything spiritual about any decision. Hey, isn't "spiritual decision" an oximoron anyway? It implies that God or a higher power gave you the answer. There wouldn't really be any decision made on the part of the person receiving the revelation.
  21. yeah, A la, that was tres spiritual. My brother was sent to Fort Worth, twin city Dallas, where my "unbelieving" father lived. Needless to say my dad was a little ticked off about his son not being able to leave Fort Worth for lunch even for an hour. (Hmmm, why did he think it was a cult?) Our WOW year we were sent to BFE, WI. Our WOW sister's son kicked our butt the whole time. The kid had problems. Wasn't that a great screaning process they went thru..."You got the cash? Great. Now go live with some crazy a$$ strangers for a year. It'll do you some good."
  22. I remember all of them but don't know where any of them are now. We were F12. I was mini/junior coprs and my older brother was junior corps. Perhaps you would remember him. Unfortunately he is still in as a corpes grad.
  23. Your probably right, Sky. My timeline is from my restricted innie perspective. I remember hearing about the Lxchts right after I heard about the lawsuit. It's not like they would have told us pions that leaders split without a good reason for leaving. The lawsuit became (I'm sure it was part of it) the reason. But good point about online stories. It can only help. I wonder whe it was that a they started really harping on us to not veiw these cop-out's websites. I must have been after these computer savvy leaders left. Actually I am pretty sure it was.
  24. I think about going back to felowship for a while just so that some day they would again call on me to SIT and interp. "Meckalecka-hi Mecka-hiny-ho, Meckalecka-hi mecka jambi-ho, Meckalecka whola-mecca holla-manna-hey" ANyone who gets that reference....we got issues lol :D--> they I would interperet saying something about how "I'm God and I love you...even if you're gay. Turn not to the right nor to the left, but head straight for the door, and never come to twi meeting again. Live and be free." I'm sure that would get me thrown out that minute. :)-->
