I agree you'll have a fair understanding of "twi-1". But having lived with both sets of teachings I can assure you that you'll still only have a partial in VPW's work. Part of the reason several do not speak of LCM's work is because they had left twi prior to them being written. Stomach as much as you can ;)-->, just keep in mind "twi-2" is not confined to the works of the first, and hasn't been for several years.

In LCM's 1998 Advanced Class he quoted scripture with an explanation like "context in the household". Following are some I noted on quick glance: Rom 12:13-20 "given to hospitality" context in the household of God. "bless them which persecute you" the saints not unbelievers...being faithful in the household doesn't necessarily mean perfectly. It's up to the health of the household body to carry the weakness until that person gets back in alignment and harmony. "persecute" the immaturity of some in the household can be irritating or grating, so you have to have long-suffering. That doesn't mean you're not to reprove and correct if it's something that's off the Word, but you do it with love for God and the believing that the person will respond. "rejoice..weep" covers the whole range of emotions and attitude. No matter what goes on as affecting our lives from rejoicing or weeping, we stay put in the household. "live peaceably with all men" in the household. You do your utmost according to the gift that's in us, according to the Word of God that's available to us. "give place unto wrath" it means to pursue that framework of confrontation. It's to allow the household to take care of its business. "enemy" a temporary enemy, someone out of alignment and harmony in the household. Rom 13:1-2 "every soul" that's the household still. "powers (exousia)" here it's used in terms of the household. The ministers-those ruling ministers of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers-the diakonos of the lord, the ministers of Jesus Christ, carry the exercised privileges in oversight. "no power but of God" that's in the household, this functioning, strong household. The only ones that are "of God" are the ones God appointed. Rom 13:10-14 "neighbour" household believer. "cast off the works of darkness" individually and collectively in the household, in the context of subjecting ourselves to the higher authorities in the Church. Eph 4:4-5 "one body" the body is built on edification; being built up, not allowing evil to run rampant, tearing things down...that tells me there is one functioning body, one functioning household. Acts 14:3 "in the Lord" household. Acts 14:20-23 "disciples" the faithful household, the only ones you can trust when you really have a need. Refiner, I don't know how far you are wanting to take this research into twi but in order for you to have a complete concept you will also need to read LCM's classes. Not to praise the man but there is differences in the two set of classes without question! For what it's worth.

It's hard to find your way regarding what they think is the church, family of God, body of Christ and household. They share what God's Word says about it then buries it in qualifications defined by them. Why I think it was so hard for some to leave them, there was truth mixed in. If it had been outlandish mind tricks all the time few would have stayed IMO. The "how to do it" is referred to by stating the Word has the blueprints. But the point I saw was without the confines of their household even if you could understand them you would not reap the desired results. Repeatedly "within the household" was stated. From front to back the magazine continues to remind people to stay in the household. Now let's all go tip-toe through the tulips (ugh I hated that song). -->

Dreams and visions appeared to have been few in number as a form of communication from God. The stars and planets were a critical means of things past, present and future. With people skilled in the reading of them (not astrology but astronomy). Spirit upon was very similar to spirit within (after the new birth) and was God's prerogative as to whether you had it or not. Refers to I Corn 3:9 and how we "labor for God for rise and expansion, to cultivate and to perpetuate this building God has made for His home." Quotes VPW's "God's Dwelling Place". Refers to I Corn 3:16, 6:16 and how God wants us to dwell in (oikos) with Him, "to abide in a tender family, a household in which we learn and grow." Refers to Eph 2:19 and how we now have access to God via the new birth therefore are no longer wandering around without a home. "We are His sons and daughters in His household." Refers to Eph 2:20-22 and how God is the architect that designed and built us for His dwelling place. Not being available until Jesus Christ became the cornerstone. Defines cornerstone, including quoting Matt 21:42. Refers to Luke 6:47-49 and how Jesus Christ laid out how to build upon the solid rock as well as the consequences for not doing so "when the elements of the world beat vehemently, what has been built will be ruined and lost." Refers to the children's song "the wise man built his house upon the rock." "We take heed how we build upon that foundation that God laid in Christ Jesus and the apostles and prophets." Gives example of a building he worked in that did not have the necessary support and how it began to move. Mentions shifting sand and refers to Psa 11:3. And tells how this applies to the ministry. Another thing possibly hindering them from moving forward in this subject is deep rooted in the leaders. Having been taught to work and make your own that which has already been opened up to us by the MOG. If not taught from him first we were not to share our findings with the household, it was never said (to me anyway) that I could not research it just never speak it. This contradicted the WC research papers. Which were stopped by LCM stating they were rehash. So we were not to research that which he did not teach first, yet he was ....ed we gave him no new light in our research papers. Within the last few years they were assigned to research 'debt' but never changed policy so you know the truth of the subject was just deep-sixed and probably the WC that found it were put on watch.

As well, through out the article he states what they have in Christ yet throws in conditions of placement.

George, Yes, sikkens, that's it. And you are correct in regards to the chalet logs versus how they fair in Colorado. Okay I can visualize the area where the damage would take place, but again even though I have visited after you I still don't remember anything regarding it. Gunnison is mixed for me, but the good is sweet memories indeed! Even "bless patrol" at 3 am was enjoyable due to the stillness and awesome surroundings. There was one cabin that burnt down though due to combustible oil soaked rags left overnight next to it, remember that? That was an exercise in "spiritual witch hunting" heard from Colorado to Ohio.

George, Thanks, and your right it is a large and many roomed cabin. I've spent many a time rubbing the wood down with sickums (?). A hard thing to do unless using the right applicator or it would shred on the knobbies of the wood. I'll leave the light on for you, but can I have some of your catch? I'll help you clean and prepare the fish. When there during winter I didn't notice any rebuild of the structure due to the ice on the roof, but I didn't observe everything so could have missed it. It still does have a large center section that is unused, however when you were there was there inside levels of walkways that led into rooms like the library? I may be remembering incorrectly as far as the section you are speaking of. But the very top was used for running inside, we literally started in the basement and ran up each flight of stairs, around the circular center on every level and then to the top circling around and re-tracking our running steps. It is beautiful though.

Although twi taught never admit error as it shows weakness, something a leader is not to have, I have heard Craig admit error. Related somewhat are excerpts from an upcoming CBS 60 Minutes special on Clinton: "I did something for the worst possible reason: just because I could," Clinton says. "I think that's just about the most morally indefensible reason anybody could have for doing anything." But then he had to also throw in this: Clinton calls the impeachment process "an abuse of power."
