'Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was sturring except "Jingles" the mouse. He wanderd the house and found a cheese log, ate all his fill and also found some egg nog. Filled to the brim and with Holiday cheer, he said "Merry Christmas GSC" and to those who belong. GOD's blessings to you and for the following year. Merry Christmas all.

getting by the passwords on some used computers
danteh1 replied to danteh1's topic in Computer Questions
Tanks Paw I may have to have you do that for me. a friend of minethat is working on one of the computers with 2000 professional on it has tried the 3,5" disk i made from ckeer's linkand he said it didn't change the password. he tried all of the options on the 3.5" disk utility. and he was going to try the CD that i made with the .iso file that looks like the same utility as the 3.5" disk utility. so if u have a link to the linux program Paw, i would apreciate it. -
getting by the passwords on some used computers
danteh1 replied to danteh1's topic in Computer Questions
Thanks ckeer I'll try them and let u know how it comes out. My friend and I were stumped on what to do. It's good to know that there is someone that knows what to do. Right now i'm still a rookie "wanna be" on the computer. And thanks again. -
Recently a friend of mine got soum older computers Compaq's from a local school. Well, the computers had the administrative passwords still on the computers. My question is, is there any way around the administrative passwords??? Two or three of them are 2000 Professional and 1 is Windows XP Professional. They are nice computers, one is a Pentium 3 BTW, and my friend is going to be trying to get the passwords from the school (IF) they still have the passwords. I would hate to have to reformat the hard drives since they are already set up with windows. Any ideas or help would be greatly aprecciated. B)

I got out before the "BAD" spirit could get in and change me.

Very interesting report Excathedra. Looks like the Bally Total Fitness deal is not only a BIG ripoff, but bordering on being a scam to get more money from people who don't read the agreement very well. Also is this the real area where Craig is one of the "fitness" trainers???? If so, would it be possible to let people know who he is and what he has done so that they can make an informed decision on whether or not to stay? If i was a member and didn't know, i would like to know what kind of deal he was doing to womenand got nailed for.

A lot of what people have said brings back a lot of memories. Some good, quite a lot of them bad. I remember when i got in in the service, there was a lot of grea fellowship (cira. 1974 in Puerto Rico) not very much pressure and quite a few great people that really cared for people. If you had a need people back then really tried to help out and get answers for your needs. At the end, (end of 1979 into 1980 when i got out) it was getting into a lot of the legalism that was (and is well known) to be going on then and now. I was pressured into going WOW when i was living in Emporia in early 1979. The WC that got me signed up for WOW (more like forced) had all of the 'Pat' answers for why i "should" go WOW. I left a good job (Emporia Wholesale Coffee Co.) that was paying a little more than minimum wage at the time. If i was in my right mind i would have stayed working and not have wound up going wow. But in some respects going WOW woke me up and i got out after moving to the Quad City area of Iowa. It's been a little over 25 years since i have gotten out. One thing that i have to say is that if any of the people that lived in the area that i lived in in Wyoming and helped witnessed to in Sheridan and Rawlins, Wyoming from after the Rock of 1979 to the rock of 1980 that are still in and secretly reading the forums, know that it's not all sweetness and nice at TWI anymore and the preassure and controll that they have over you is not for your best intrest. All TWI wants is the ABS money that is generated and the controll that thwy can userp over you.

posted by Mr. Hammorabi One of the main things why RR lookes the way she does is that they don't have anyone in waybuilders that knows how to do trowel and grout work to make her look better, OR younger.

I think tht Paw has done an admirable job of keeping the forums going and on track. For all of us that visit here to try to do what Paw is doing to keep GSC going, and the others who help him, would be hard for the rest of us to do. It takes a tremendous amount of time to keep track of everything, the small problems and the minor snaffoo's and such. Also the people who post here that are in the real "Know" about what has happened when they were in, and the innies that are still in that help keep the rest of us up on what is going on with TWI, i salute you all. TWI would like nothing better than have GSC go by the wayside. But as the bible says "ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free." I belive, like some others do, that TWI hasn't really changed much, IF any at all. Just more white wash and perfume to cover up what they don't want anyone else to know that is going on. The lowering numbers indicate to me that more and more of the innies have realized that what has been told about the leaders of TWI is more true than not. Paw, I raise my glass to you and what you are doing.

Why hasn't Loy started his own splinter group?
danteh1 replied to GrouchoMarxJr's topic in About The Way
I don't think that 'ol Loy Boy has enough grey matter to start up a splinter group. More cobwebs and a few bats, MAYBE, than grey matter. Also, with all of the bad press that LCM has going around the internet, he stands a better chance of getting back in TWI if he wouldn't do like he did when he got kicked out. BUT, if he did come back would the people accept him back that are still current followers??? iIf I was still in and Craig was reinstalled as Prez. I would take a VERY serious look at staying. I know that if a person says that they have repented that they should deserve a second chance, But really now, if you were burnt by LCM, would you want to risk getting burnt again if you happened to cross him the wrong way? -
Hi Belle If you are talking about the same history channel show i saw, about the books that were used for the bible and the ones that were 'banned' from being used, would that be the one??? IF so, the show also talked about one book that didn't make it that had a reference to Jesus pushing a fellow playmate off of a roof and the playmate dieing. Kind of makes you wonder what some of the other books that didn't make it contain.

Whatever happened to Lonell and Brenda (Johnson?) from Emporia, KS
danteh1 replied to danteh1's topic in Friend Tracker
I agree with Johnny Lingo - excathedra, thanks for the link. I knew that Rev. Johnson was very well educated and had a large knowledge of GOD's word. Of all the felloships in Emporia that i went too, the Johnsons fellowship was by far the best of them that i went to. I really hated when he and his wife Brenda left Emporia. I missed the great fellowship that all of the belivers that came to thier fellowship felt. They (the Johnsons) had a large living room and it seemed that it was always full of us belivers, usually from as few as 8 to about 12 or more at the largest. Lonnell and Brenda always made you feel live you were a part of thier family. And the fellowship didn't just end with the end of twig, it would last for at least an hour after twig ended. If Lonnell, Brenda or thier family visit GSC, GOD Bless you all. Know that i miss the good times all of us that went to your fellowship had during the times that you welcomed us into your home.   -
My folks have had 2 Irish setters while i was growing up. The first one we named 'Kelly' (male dog) that knew that i was the youngest of the family and always protected me, even from my older sisters trying to spank me from trouble i had gotten into. The second Irish setter my folks had that was a registered Irish setter we named 'Heather Honey' cause she was a real sweetheart of a dog. Always barked at people going by when she was in her kennel but was everyones friend when she was out and about with us around.

I was wondering whatever happened to Rev. Lonell Johnson and his wife Brenda. When I first moved to Emporia, KS. i was in thier Twig. They were a great couple with thier daughter, she must be about 30 or so by now. thier daughter was about 4 or 5 at the time. I remember having a great time at the fellowships with coffee afterwards. But i remember something about them having to move back to HQ to work on staff or something. The time period would have been late 1978 very early 1979 when they moved. Does anyone know if theyt are still in or are they out? Thanks for any information.

If TWI is doing thier own audits, wouldn't that be letting the wolf watch the sheep? If so, they need to have it looked into have an independent auditor look into the whole credit union to see if TWI is really on the up and up.

The year I went out WOW (1979-80) we had 2 groups of 4 people. The WC leader was in the other family of 4 than the one i was in. One of the 2 women in my family was put in charge of the family and she put the other female as 2nd under her. It started out as a good family untill the lady family leader started bringing men to whom she was supposed to be "undersheparding" over for overnight stays to get them into the class. When the other guy in our family and I started questioning her way of getting members for the class, both her and the other gal said basically "What are you guys going to do about it?? It's none of your concern.". I thought "boy what a rip!" here me and the other guy was working our a$$es off trying to get people to sign up and the 2 gals were getting laid when VP told us at the WOW training for the gals to "keep your legs crossed and the men to keep it in your pants." At one point on the field i was almost ready to call it quits and move out, but at the last minute the the waycorp leader for the 2 families convinced me that he didn't want me to leave and he would talk to the family leader. I should have left cause everything turned kind of cold after that. but oh well, i'm out now and know better than to get into another situation like that again.

One cliche that i remember 'ol Craiggers slways spouting when i lived in Emporia was "Let 'er rip 'tater chip!!" Doesn't it just make you want to just upchuck????

I remember hearing about the law that TWI used to form thier own police department being struck down. As far as them stopping you on a "public" road, I don't belive they have the authority to do so unless they are an incorporated town with a mayor, city council, and a lot of other rules and regulations governed by the state you are in. Then there are guidlines that you have to follow in order to have a police force. Here in Iowa a police officer has to meet all the requirments ( training at an authorized police training academy ) and then you have to follow the states regulations that are set up. TWI would not be likely to have a police force according to the terms of REAL officers. They would come under more of a security guard unit just for the TWI grounds and have no grounds for stopping anyone just traveling on the road going past headquarters as long as they didn't get on the grounds.

Martindale Returning - Is it a possibility?
danteh1 replied to TaylorCompany's topic in About The Way
If it is true about 'ol loy boy coming back to run things, i'd have one MAJOR stipulation made for his return. A "permanent" male chastity belt with no key and no way to take it off and have an alarm on it "IF" he does take it off. ^_^ -
Kinda remindes me of the song by Ray Stevens called "Mississippi Squirrel Revival". Hey Paw. How big of attachments can we post now on GSC???? I have both the regular song and the music video of the Ray Stevens song if anyone would like me to post it.

For the innies that come to read the posts here. how many have a car that is 5 years old or less? 10 years old or less? Does your money cover your personal expenses every month "after ABS" to where you have some left over to be able to go out for a nice sit down meal or two with "your" imediate family a month? Look at the BOT and those in charge at headquarters. How new are thier cars? Do they follow the same guidlines as you have to follow or do the rules seam to apply differently to them than to you? It has been said that the head leadership has set a "NO PETS" guideline for members of The Way. How many of your leadership have pets, like cats, dogs, ECT.??? Also how many of the leaders 'DO' have thier own houses that they have bought and paid for and own themselfs? I know that haveing a low income jog too be able to keep up with the obligations of 'The Way' in some cases is very hard to help keep enough money coming in to cover every day to day expences. There is people in the ministry that do keep track of your movements and what you spend your money and free time on so that they can use it against you if u don't toe the lin as they see it. And heven forbid if an emergency comes up that you have to use some of the money that you would normally use for your ABS. Normal churches do not subject you to "manditory" ABS payments off the top of your paychecks before you can spend any of your own money for yourselfs.

Hi all. I just logged onto the GSC to set up my password, and was like  whoooh! somethings deffinatly different here. Not in the bad sense but like 'nice changes' kind of way. I have to hand it to 'ya paw, you don't just do it half way but "whole hog". what i really like is the feature of if you have any new messages from people. That feature is REALLY a great one. Makes it easier to know if someone has sent you a message without going to the area to check it out first. The color makeup of the new forums is cool too. Something easy on the eyes. At least for me anywhoo. I have to give you at least 4 and 1/2 thumbs up paw out of 5. Now if i can just get the coffee machine to put the right amout of sweetener and cream in my coffee. :P
