I bought my wedding dress on ebay. It was an absolute steal, it was beautiful, and I would recommend it to anyone! I couldn't imagine paying so much money for something you wear only once. It came from Hong Kong. The transaction went very smoothly, and I received the dress within 4 days after buying it.

You know, I don't know for a fact that "The Present Truth" is the name of the band. They have always accompanied The Singing Ladies of The Way, and they are not mentioned on the CDs. All of the years I was on Staff, that name was not mentioned for the band. I am thinking that it is a promotional gimmick for people to see (i.e., a ministry theme). The Way, afterall, is the only ministry with "The Present Truth". --> If you believe that, I have land in Arizona to sell you which has a river running through (every time it rains that is).

When I lived in an apartment in San Diego, I had the ultimate sea hag living above me. It's usually the downstairs neighbors who complain about the upstairs neighbors. She used to knock on my door a couple of mornings complaining that she heard banging on the walls all night long. I am a noise freak myself, but I never heard it. I could tell she thought the noise was coming from me. But I went to bed every night at 10:00. My boyfriend (now husband) lived 370 miles away, so there couldn't have been any banging on the walls. ;)--> Well, after she had complained too many times, I confronted her about her thoughts of the noise coming from me. I assured her that I went to bed at 10:00-10:30 each night and didn't get up until 6:30 or so. One day I was cleaning my bathroom. I set my soap dispenser on the sink quickly and made a clinking noise. I could hear her stomp across the floor to her bathroom and bang on the wall. I was kind of in disbelief, so I clinked the soap dispenser a second time, but on purpose that time. Again, I heard her stomp across the floor again and bang on the wall. Still in disbelief, my second test was going to the kitchen and letting a cabinet door close louder than I usually would. Again, I heard her stomp across her floor to slam her pantry door! I yelled through the floor for her to lighten up, and she stomped on the floor again. I decided to really be aware of what I did when I moved in my apartment. I had a stackable washer/dryer in my storage on my patio. When I did laundry, it required me to open and close my sliding glass door. Laundry nights were hell. She would slam her sliding glass door several times and pound on the walls. It sounded like someone was majorly ....ed off. What was I supposed to do? I went up to her apartment to talk to her. She would never answer her door. So I went to the management to make them aware what was gonig on and to tell them to tell her to calm down. I saw her son in the parking lot the next day and asked him what was going on. He was not shocked. He informed me that she was always ....ed of at her neighbors even if normal noise was going on. I had a mind to crank up Metallica as loud as I could. But I told her son that if she continued to slam things and pound on walls, my main purpose would be to get her evicted. The noise stopped. Later on, I talked to this lady only to hear her life sob story of how nobody loves her. I took her to church and even tried to give her $100 for Christmas. She gave the money back even though she had complained that she never had enough money. My boss had given me a very large bonus that year, so I wanted to help her out. She called me at work (by the way, never tell people where you work when you work for a real estate broker--your work number is posted on many streets). She knew I would be quitting my job and moving to out of state to get married. She wanted me to teach her my job! I was an office manager who had over 20 years of experience doing what I did. I asked her if she could type. She couldn't. I told her when she learned to type that she could come back and talk to me. I gave her information on a place that provided absolutely FREE typing and computer classes to help people to get a new career. She never went. Moral of the story: I am picky on who I introduce myself to in my neighborhood now.

Wyteduv! I was recently instant messaging with a corps person on staff at hq, and I was told that Sharen Kay Ritchie packed her bags and left the joint!!! I don't know where she is, but I wonder if she went back to California. She's out of der veg....good for her.

When I started working at HQ in Word Processing, they were using the DOS version of WordPerfect. They didn't upgrade until right before Y2K. All other offices were using older software. So, yes, I am shocked they have updated stuff.

I always thought he was genuine also, but he was present when lcm was confronted about his adultery. He was on the BOD at that time, and he should have moved to have martinpuke removed back then. He should have blown the siren and let people know what was really going on. But it was hidden for a year. And then they only came out because they wanted to beat the newspapers from telling their side. I saw him coming out in to the hallway right before we were having our big meeting where martinpuke was resigning as prez of twitville. You could see the stress in him, and he was sighing like crazy. I know he and his wife admired martinpuke. It must have been very sad for him to martinpuke was a major f*ckup. You are probably right. The stress probably did get to him and affect his health. I hope they get out too.

My husband has a recording studio. Every year he attends two large conferences in Las Vegas. CES (Consumer Electronics Show) is one of them. I went with him. I actually dreaded it: a long day of walking and looking at stuff in which I had no interest. But it was time to spend with hubby, so I went. I went to the ladies room, and when I walked out you won't believe who I saw. Vincent Pastore (*****) from Sopranos! Being a huge fan of the show, I looked at him with big eyes and a huge smile. You just don't run in to celebrities every time you come out the public restroom, but all I could remember was "*****!" I didn't want to call him that, so I just said "Hey, good to see you!" He was very pleasant and shook my hand and said it was good to see me also. I walked away trying for the life of me to remember his real name. Later that day, we saw Les Paul, Neal Schon, and Ike Turner in the Gibson Guitar area. I've been a huge fan of Journey since I was just a youngin, so it was great to see Neal Schon. He has a new band formed called Soul Sirkus. I went to the website soulsirkus.com, but the music just doesn't compare to Journey and Steve Perry's voice. We heard that Jackie Chan was there too, but we never caught up with him.

Like the jerk had enough time to read all those stupid notes. He probably joked about them the way we do here on GSC. I know there's been speculation about who ran twi during martinpuke's reign. I was remembering a corps guys I worked with while I was on staff who told me that every time lcm had restrictions put on him, more were put on the corps and staff. I didn't think to ask who was putting the restrictions on him; now I would bet money on it. It makes me wonder what was shared at corps meetings after martinpuke was ousted. Was anybody there to hear it?

I like the Hilton because it is not so outrageously expensive like Mandalay Bay and the Venetian. It has a great view, and the rooms are very nice.

There's a place on the strip next to Harley Davidson's called "Tix for Tonight". They sell reduced priced tickets to shows for that night. When you walk in, there is a marquee scrolling with everything they have.

My family notices a HUGE change in me. I'm not always trying to reproves their @sses withy my mightier than thou wayfer BS attitude. Bless their hearts; I was a real bi-yach. I reget that terribly. I've apologized to my baby sis several times about that. Now I am becoming a forgetful person. If you know me, that is hard to understand. I almost started to kick my own butt about that, but then I remembered that I am now a forgetful person who really cares about people. Sometimes a lot of humility arises when you realize you are only human.

Thank you so See Me for your bravery to really see this through. I'm sure it took a lot of time out of your life. It is simply amazing that twi still supports this jerk. BAD TWI!!!!

I have worded posts in a way that was very offensive to others without realizing it. I have had my foot chewed by those who helped me realize it. My realization of that bout myself was very a very hard pillow to swallow. I guess I'm just trying to say that sometimes people aren't malicious in their offensiveness. But it takes an understanding heart to show them the how their words affect people.
