Ballys is a terrible place IMHO. They do not give you a workout place for so much a month. They have you actually sign paperwork for a loan. Your monthly dues are the monthly amount of the loan. They never tell you are are signing up for a loan. If you decide to back out before you pay off the loan, your credit is screwed. If I walked in to a place to meet up with a personal trainer and saw martinfail, I would turn around and walk out. There is no way in hell I would ever knowingly be in the same building as that BIG ARSE! I would have wayyyy too many questions for his sorry foot.

I was involved with CG fellowships briefly in the early 90s in Northern California. It was terrible. Why? Because they were there to collect the money. There were several splinter groups in the SF Bay Area where I was. They were all preaching tithing and collecting the tithe, yet nothing was ever said as to where the money was going. Practically anybody could be a twig coordinator, and the attitude was really flaky IMHO. I got tired of it and stopped going. But then I went back to the barf in twi when lcm was on his worst ego trip ever. I got sucked in. When I left in 2002, I tried splinter groups again. I was living in San Diego when I left the 2nd time. I tried one with CES, which was wayyyyyy wacky. They seemed a little legalistic to me. Then I tried one which was not directly affiliated with CG, but they ran his classes. I went to a Sunday fellowship where Doug Seed taught and went on and on about Uncle Harry and what the BOT did and had they not had the guts....blah, blah, blah. I wanted to gag! It was all about early trustee worship. The people there didn't understand "leaving" The Way. They didn't even want to put themselves in my place to help me move on, so I went somewhere that did. Sometimes you need a caring heart to understand and listen to you. These people weren't that. My sister was involved directly with CG groups and there was a lot of pressure for her to take classes. I remember her brother-in-law went to Scotland to take the Advanced Class. He was seen as a spiritual biggie after that. He didn't work or support his family. Yeah he was real spiritual....But everyone thought he was great. They were blinded IMHO. Now I go to chuch. :P

I had an HFC who gave used children's toys and wrapped them in used paper.....very tacky imho. The toys weren't always "gently used". She and her husband had money, they were extremely tight.

Wow! It never amazes me with the lack of consideration in counseling. My ex and I went to counseling twice while "in". Once was in a "stick" with Ph*l B*nadies. He wasn't any good. He never got to addressing the real problem. It was sad. My ex had a drug problem. He wasn't a daily drug user, but he was a binge user. He would start arguements so he would have an excuse to leave to 2 days and do drugs. I never told Ph*l that was going on because I was a good little co-dependent in hiding my ex's problem. But you would think the spiritual know-it-all would have asked why my ex left and what he did for 2 days at a time......gawd am I glad that is over! To top it off, when we went back to twi after the "stick" fellowships, we had marriage counseling with the BC, they came over and said "We aren't going ove the complaints." They told us to read "Heir Together in the Grace of Life" from volume 5 and that was it. That was really healing.......I would have rather had a stick drove under my fingernail. It just shows you that there were no qualified people to counsel individuals or couples. It was a twisted sick problem.

I know this subject has come up before, and I thought I'd tell you all of my experience. I just sold all of my Way books on ebay. I got a total of $290 for all of them. It was a pleasant surprise. I went in thinking if I got $150, I would be happy to unload them off to someone who would appreciate them more than I would. It cost me about $.70 per listing. They give you one free picture with that price. Although the potential buyer has to click on your listing in order to see the item. It really isn't necessary to purchase the picture option for people to see them when they are looking up the items since there aren't a whole lot of Way books at a given time. If you accept payments through PayPal, then you can get paid almost instantly. Just be sure to list that you don't accept credit cards so nobody tries to pay with a credit card on PayPal. If you don't then you will have to pay fees to PayPal also to accept the credit card payment. I thought it was great timing. I don't mind having the extra cash for Christmas!!

If you believe LCM was deceived by CG, think about this: 1. LCM is a huge drama Queen 2. His ego is HUGE 3. He twisted all kinds of words, principls, and Bibles verses to get people to believe his crap 4. He said he was on his way to resign, and then changed his mind after a woman said "God bless you, Rev. Martindale". 5. His ego wouldn't let him fail 6. LCM said CG would never tell him he did anyting right. The LCM got NASTY (demanding support). That would be the only way he would separate the "wheat" from the "chaff" and be able to still rule the kingdom. He decided to hold on for dear life his title as President. He only let it go 5years ago because the ministry was in trouble of getting sued for a lot of money because of his stupid acts. Otherwise he would still be Prez. Evil has ran TWI for years. That even includes CG IMHO. He was just as bad as LCM. He just used VPs name to rock the boat. He was trying to wedge his way in to LCM's place. It was all a circus, and God never had any part of it.

Oldies, Do you ever ask why didn't the BOT negate the accusation? If someone made a horrible alligation about me like that and I knew it wasn't true, I'd be fighting tooth and nail to save my reputation. That is a HUGE accusation. And why would HCW lie about what he heard? There's no profit to him lying. Do you know him? Does he have a reputation for lying? I don't think so. There are several here who knew him before GSC.
