Just because you leave every day for work and are absent doesn't mean you cannot be reached and there is no communication with you, right? I first heard of the absent Christ in 1984 or 1985 at least.

That is absolutely terrible. I am so sorry you had to endure that crap. No doubt your parents are scared to leave TWI because common sense would have told them to get out. I wish they could read your post. Therapy will be good. There IS life after TWI, and you are young enough to get over all that crap and live the life you were meant to live. I hope for the best for you. (((((MINICORPSE)))))

Of course he is seated at the right hand of God. When I think about this point taught, I think about RELATIONSHIP. There is no way we were ever taught to have a relationship with Christ. I think we were missing out big time. I'm talking about prayer. I'm not talking about making him God either. TWI liked to drop Jesus Christ's name here and there to make sure they were still Christian, but they really lost the whole deal with the absent Christ doctrine. How can you have an absent head??

I'm patiently waiting until 6 p.m. tonight when I can watch the last show. Thank God for satellite so I can watch in on the East Coast feed. I hope it's not a disappointment like Seinfeld or Six Feet Unfer.

I had that thought as well Hope. Funny. I live in Kingman, Arizona, where his driver's license in that episode said he was from. I LOVE the Tudors! The acting in that show is PHENOMENAL!! It is the best show I've seen so far, and I've been an HBO and SHOWTIME junkie for years. I never thought anything could top Sex in The City, but Tudors wins them all IMHO. I really like ROME too. Oh...and Big Love too! See, I'm a junkie. I can't help it. The only network show I keep up with is Ugly Betty.

Where is a source I can have my own pictures? Obviously I don't have www.myserver.com. How do you get a place for stuff like that? -
I am technically challenged when it comes to posting attachments. How to you post a picture without it being a thumbnail? I want my picture to be larger and part of the post.

Remember when Janice killed her boyfriend and Tony came to clean up the mess? Then she left for Washington State and came back as a Christian? Then she preyed on Bobby? She is sick....ewww!!!!

This is so true! They always ask at the doctor's office why you are there, and you have to answer in front of others what's wrong and sometimes it is embarrassing. There's nothing worse than a Doctor's Receptionist who insists you tell her what is wrong with you in a room full of other patients. I know most of us have experienced this, and I love the way this old guy handled it. An 86 year old man walked into a crowded waiting room and approached the desk.... The Receptionist said, "Yes sir, what are you seeing the Doctor for today?" "There's something wrong with my dick", he replied. The receptionist became irritated and said, "You shouldn't come into a crowded waiting room and say things like that." "Why not? You asked me what was wrong and I told you," he said. The Receptionist replied; "Now you've caused some embarrassment in this room full of people. You should have said there is something wrong with your ear or something and discussed the problem further with the Doctor in private." The man replied, "You shouldn't ask people questions in a room full of strangers, if the answer could embarrass anyone. The man walked out, waited several minutes and then re-entered. The Receptionist smiled smugly and asked, "Yes??" "There's something wrong with my ear", he stated. The Receptionist nodded approvingly and smiled, knowing he had taken her advice. "And what is wrong with your ear, Sir??" "I can't .... out of it," he replied. The waiting room erupted in laughter. Mess with seniors and you're gonna lose!

Maybe Dr. Melfi will accept Junior as a patient .

So are you saying it is bad for women who are in their 40s and never married to adopt children if they want them and can afford them? Since you don't seem to have lived with an emotionally retarded father, you obviously don't know the effect it has on kids. It seems you are spewing out facts you read on the internet. Ask people who have actually lived through it.

I don't know. I guess I want to be surprised. I just hope it's a good ending. The ending of "Six Feet Under" and "Seinfeld" were the worst in history. I LOVED both of those shows. The buildup to the final episode may be too stressful for writers. I hope the writers from Sopranos can pull off a really suspenseful ending that makes you go "WOW!" If there is going to be a movie, I hope the final episode allows a lead up to it without compromising all we've seen in the series.

The thing that gets me the most about this is that it's the girl who gets in trouble. What about the guy who got her pregnant? Why is the girl has to carry the stigma? I know a man can't carry a child, but it sucks that the guy doesn't carry the same stigma. I come from a part time 2 parent family. I can say when my dad was home, it was terrible for us. He thought he was doing his duty when he brought home a paycheck. He thought he was a good guy doing that. He didn't realize that being a father and a husband required more than bringing home a paycheck. Men who are completely clueless on how to relate to their children and then want nothing to do with their upbringing is a much worse thing than a single-parent household. I know from my own experience and the lives of other friends growing up with the same kind of dad. Maybe that's why some women today feel they don't need a man. They don't want one who is there only mentally. Men need to be there emotionally too. It's hard for a lot of men to do that. As a child, I felt much more peaceful when dad didn't live with us. I definitely felt like an unwanted burden to him. I think he regrets it today. I forgive him.

Why is it a "LIBERAL" thing? I'm sure REPUBLICANS AND CONSERVATIVES have had the same treatment when they deserved to stay in jail.

Hypocrite and Whited Sepulchre are not even close to F words LCM used frequently. They aren't even as offensive as pillow biter or butt muncher like he use to call homosexuals. I'm not sure why you think Hypocrite and Whited Sepulchre are equivalant to cuss words.

Anyone else who had a mental breakdown would have been sent to a mental facility to serve out the rest of their time. The princess gets to serve at home. DARN! She has to serve the full time now! What a bummer!! They should put a portable cell in her yard and make her live in that for her time spent serving society for the wrong she did. What a big joke.

Well it appears she just got out of jail and will spend the rest of her time at home with a monitoring device. The news said it is due to illness, which cannot be discussed. Any other joe blow citizen would have served six months at least for doing what she did. It must be nice to be born with a silver spoon in your mouth. She served all of 5 days. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070607/ap_on_en_tv/paris_hilton

I like to grill mine in a mix of balsamic vinegar and olive oil.

The absent Christ theory TWI taught always confused me. It was the very first thing I trashed when I left TWI. It doesn't make logical sense that the Head of the Church would be absent.

I lived in San Diego when I left TWI in December 2002. At that time, there were about 7 or 8 fellowships in San Diego. I went to a California Limb Meeting around September 2001. There were people from the San Francisco Bay Area, San Diego, and the LA area. It seemed like less people when I went to my last phone hook up in Anaheim in October 2002. It was a hookup with HQ for the anniversary. I'm sure it's less now.
