Anyone heard from Jim Gregory, I think he was in upstate NY Binghamton maybe? Is he still twi etc?

Potato-You have the right attitude. Everyone is at a different place in life. I'm sure I will keep learning things as I go. I only meant to say that I wasn't gong to waste any more time in twi. But I'm think we are all the winners for leaving. This is a great place for us all to help each other whether it be times of hurt or times of joy.

Chatty-I didn't know who you were until Ala told me. Now I remember. We were in Columbus Ohio, you and Ted played and then we did a couple of tunes. It was fun. I'm not a great guitarist just a hacker="maybe someday I'll be a rock star". As for the studio someone asked-I've got the AKG Mike going into a Behringer mixer into my computor with a couple of recording programs -patch mix, emu0404, cubase, band in a box, pro tracks then I've purchased a couple or Yorkville monitors which can also be used for live performance. It's good to hear exactly what the mix will sound like it would in front of a live audience. Since we are into boating most of my recent stuff sounds similar to Jimmy Buffet's. Maybe I'm turning into a parrothead "oh my God".

I would suggest you change your homepage to another one, it's easy to do. I don't like the msn one either.

Ditto on Allyson Krausse. Love her stuff. She has the only band I've ever heard that sounds as good live as they do on a recording. Speaking of recording, I just got my new recording studio up and running. Just bought an AKG precision 1000 recording mike. It's great for vocal and/or guitar. I'ts available for anyone to use should you want to make your own CD just let me know. I'm as excited as a pig in shi*.

I know Tom very well. Unfortunatley he is still in. Maybe not for long. Let's hope.

Speaking of good guitar players, anyone heard from Danny Hoeffer and is he still with TWI. He used to travel around for Yamaha and demo their guitars. I bought one from him. He is a great guitar player. Last time I talked to him he was selling amps for the Line 6 co. I bought one of those too=wow.

Check out Bruce Cockburn's new CD. It has some beautiful guitar work. Glad to hear the Don Ross stuff. He plays in our area a few times a year. We'll have to go see him next time he comes A La Pr.

Anyone heard from an ex twi believer named Kenin Grady.

Sure like the team but hate the new logo. Whatever.. What's the matter with a good old fashioned Buffalo.

I thought you all would be blessed to hear of a great deliverance. I have an aunt who was in twi years back. Recently she was diagnosed with bone cancer (mutiple malenoma) one of the worst. She got our whole family praying for her and went for stem cell treatment and radiation treatment. After all the dust settled the doctors declared she was totally healthy. Not a cancer cell in her body. God is great!

Many confuse kindness with acting nice. Many twi's act nice. But true kindness is an action. For instance Way Corps are supposed to be the true servants. But the opposite is true. They are the ones getting all the service. For instance our area Corps leadership reproved all the believers in the area becasue they had to wash their own floor one time. He said his gift ministry was suffering because he should have had that time to study. Another time the Corps leadership were moving and everyone was expected to be there to help. But when I moved no one showed up. After we moved in the Corps leadership showed up all dressed up nice to inspect our new place. They were real nice about it though-LOL

Way to go. I didn't wake up until 2003 but I would just play the game and just fax the same schedule with a change in the date. Nothing like consistency eh.

I fell the same way. Woopee

I can understand the hurt you must feel. I felt the same why for a long time. But I decided I'm not going to waste any more of my life so I must move on. I don't think we are in a war but whatever you want to call it I don't think we are losing anything. I still know people in twi they say things haven't changed since I left and that the minstry really hasn't taught anything new or refreshing in years. They want to leave but just haven't got the courage to leave yet. For those of us with the guts to leave "cudos" to you. Once you figure it out you will realize you are the winners.

My wife was 5th family she would love to connect with any former family 5. Anyone?

Yes Dot believe it or not he ran the Way Corps for many years. Needless to say a real Corps Nazi.

I played trumpet-but my real love is the guitar. Too bad they had a guitar player already. And just joking about everyone wants to play the guitar. I've had so many people tell me that they want to learn to play the guitar.

Amen to that. Thank them every time you see them.

Do you think a ceiling fan would keep my igloo cooler?

I agree. I think Harvey got himself in over his head. Power tends to corrupt. Maybe deep down he is starting to see what he has "done got himself into". It's a quiet way to back out. Hope he can figure it out.

Novemeber 11 we call it remembrance day here where I live. I have a good friend who was a tail gunner the WW2. He says no one can understand what it was like to be up there seing people you knew get blown to bits. My heart goes out to those folks. We can never repay them but to say a great thank-you!

That's what tore me apart. I wanted to serve God and I new that would involve some sort of leadership. But I didn't want to lord over people. Finally I woke up and saw that you can't serve God in the way He would want us to love peple in twi. Why did it take me so long to figure it out. I guess I thought they would finally wake up one day and say hey we have been doing it wrong. But that never happened and I guess it never will.

Maybe I'm dreamin' but in the words of the Beach Boys "wouldn't it be nice" to get together sometime. It's fun to dream. I know the guy who started ebay, he had a dream. I had the privilege of being in the Way Orchestra. Even though the ministry has it's problems the Way Orchestra was one of the great experieces of my life. The electricty on the stage between the musicaians was incredible. I have not experienced anything like it since that time. Everyone wants to play the guitar LOL.

Anyone heard of or from Mary-Ann Booth (married name). I can't remember her maiden name but I do know she was from the Buffalo NY area.
