I was run through the gauntlet for questioning some decisions. You can't do that in twi. Yea, Way Prod. did a few of my songs. They were changed so much I didn't recognize the songs. Besides that they botched the words so that nothing rhymed anymore, and I got reproved because witnessing wasn't in the songs enough. Talk about putting you in a straitjacket. I'm starting to write again, and I don't have to put witnessing in anywhere-wahoooooooooo.

I'm going to try my best not to give the finger to stupid drivers!

two questions about the JAL letter
polar bear replied to sprawled out's topic in Spirit and Truth Fellowship International
I agree Sprawled out- I'll admit I didn't even bother to think about this mess any more after reading about the so called "prophecies". That's worse than twi. Can't believe folks can't figure out these guys are a couple of cans short of a six-pack. Ops sorry, I think I've been thrown off my spirtual equalibrium (I'd better get back to church before I'm out of fellowship). -
Happy Birthday Socks- Good thread, good converstions, good people. What a way to start the new year. Have a happy day.

Sometimes I forget how great it is to hear live music, even though I do hear a lot of it. Went out today and heard a great local blues group called the Downchild Blues Band. They have a great standard blues sound with great vocals and harmonica. Loved it. Got to get out and hear more.

I don't know if someone has started a thread on good books to read, but I want to start off the new year with some good reading material. Here are some self help books that I am in the middle of reading right now. I'm trying to slow down the aging process a little. (Don't want to be an old fart, just want to be young at heart). Body for Life-by Bill Phillips (tells you how we need to work with weights to strengthen muscle as we get older, our bones need the help.) Fat or Fat-by Covert Bailey (exercise-building muscle burns the fat) You the Owners Manual-by Michael Rozen and Mehmet Oz- (I've not read much yet but he's been on Oprah-haaaa. This guy Dr. Oz amazes me. He's a world renowned heart surgeon. He tells you from a medical standpoint how your body functions and how you can take care of it).

Le'ts make this a year to enjoy each others company and conversation. All the best to you and your family.

Welcome back. We're trying to have some fun here , hope you will too. I agree totally, I think the ces thread should be put on the "just plain silly" or "the soap opera returns" forum. It brings us back to the same old silliness of twi.

Yes there were some genuine Godly people. I think that's the only reson I stayed as long as I did. That's what fooled me. Then I saw most of those people leave, and it got me thinking. First the system started to suck the life out me and second I saw more loving people outside of the way than in the way. So I said "I'm outta here"!
-
Totally agree, I think the good intentions only lasted for about one day.

Why to go William, wish I had the guts to do what you did to those jerks. I had the scream fests too. Glad we all finally figured it out. Glas we're out.

twi dictionary-volunteer-a slave, a worthless piece of dung, door mat, a tool that leadership use so they don't have to do anything.

Green Acres-haaaaaaaa. I love it. Arnold the pig right? Here's my warped version of the theme song-(sorry if I've wrecked the show for you) Headquarters is the place to be. Dorm livin' is the life for me. Lies spreadin' out so far and wide. Darlin' I love ya but give me the cyanide Sorry, back to the original question? What did I get for Xmas. I got the new version of band in a box and their recording studio called power tracks. Santa was goooooooood. I'm so exicted I feel like a pig in heat. Arnold that is!

OK let's get back to the original idea of the thread= Twi has put God in a box. They believe they have an answer for everything. Everything to them is mathematical, if you are believing it will happen, if it doesn't you didn't believe. Well it's not cut and dry. No one can tell me or you why God does things the way He does. He's God. But your point was that your son needed help. Twi gave you their "pat answer" which did not help you did it? That's why you thought to yourself "what about a doctor?" "Do I just sit there and believe for my son to get healed and let him suffer"? Of course you pray, but you also do everything you can to get him healed. My point is twi folks don't have the foggiest idea on how to love people.

Ask twi-they are a bunch of dreamers. Try google search on patents.com or inventions.com. There are web sites out there who buy ideas.

Cajones de Torro? HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. I almost peed myself. Love it. More. Can't wait to tell that when I'm in Mexico with a bunch of friends next month.

Sushi-Amen and amen. When the church starts to pry into family and personal matters, it's called- CONTROL!

Let's look at the other side of the coin. Twi may have started with some good intentions. There were some good God loving people. But as with every other group Iv'e ever seen when money and power get introduced into the equation it's time to jump ship, bail out, split, run for the hills. What happened you say? Too many things to count here. One of the major issues. The promogation of the corporation became more important than the people. One example-a big catch phrase of twi- "it's the love of God, it's not the love of people'. BOY DID THIS BECOME A WAY FOR LEADERSHIP TO- - twist the Word to any of their ideas they could devise to control people. - get people to do anything they wanted them to do. Sounds real religious and right, but after you consider it awhile, it's dead wrong. Case and point. Mark 12:30-31 Jesus talks about the two great commanments to love God and then he says the second is like unto it which is to love your neighbour. The wor like is from the root "homo" which means the same. Both words love God and love your neighbour are "agapeio" which is Godly love. In other words it makes sense that you can't love God without loving your neighbour. So, IF YOU AIN'T WALKIN' IN LOVE TOWARDS PEOPLE YOU AIN'T LOVIN' GOD I would love to hear your thoughts on this. .

I'm not done with this thread yet, it's a doozy- Speaking of selective-(more like seductive) My last year in twi, all leadership were told to teach at least once a month on abundant sharing (which is going beyond the tithe in giving). TALK ABOUT THEM BEING SELECTIVE! What the **** was that all about! Gotta make sure the dough keeps coming in. What about just teaching the LOVE OF GOD.

wash, rinse and repeat. I love it. I've been through the ringer a few times myself. Ever seen the movie "Chocolate". It'll make you want to run for the hills from any type of religion

Letter from John Lynn
polar bear replied to Jeff USAF RET's topic in Spirit and Truth Fellowship International
My God people, get a life. Get as far away from this thing as you can. Take what I was told and try this. Get away from any group for six months and you won't know yourself. -
Dear Hopefulll-Very honest sharing. Life isn't always a bowl of cherries, sometimes it sucks. One of my best friends just up and died the other day from cancer, pretty sudden. That hurts, but life goes on. Couldn't dare say things like that in twi, you just get dumped on, like "Where's your believing" or "control your mind". I'll tell you where it's at, when you are hurt it's in the dumpster. After all last time I looked I was still human. My disclaimer-close friends or relatives who die, may cause crappy feelings, sad emotions, depression, anger. Sometimes can be helped by a good stiff drink.

Dear Folks-thanks so much for your comments. You have truly touched my heart. And especially Socks and Even -(I'm not worthy). Hey Skyrider=Us Polar Bears migrate south for the winter. Along about February we should be in New Orleans. Is that anywhere along our route from way up here?
