Dear RG- Thanks for sharing that great tune. That's one JT song I never paid attention to much until now. The only reason I ever went up to a roof was to jump off-LOL. We used to do that as kids. Now I see this song in a whole new light. Guess I'll have to learn that one now.

Anothen- You have done something that was very difficult to do. Why not bring this up, you are a part of the body of Christ. You should be commended as least trying to come clean. I'm sure there are many around that are still hiding their sin-like LCM. If I may, consider examples in the Word. Take David, he did something much worse, he had a perfectly good belever killed and stole his wife. He realized his sin, asked God for forgiveness and God did forgive him. He did pay a price. It sounds like you have asked for forgiveness and you have definately paid a price. As far as I'm concerned you are welcome here.

Okay Dmiller if it's bar jokes you want you got it- A Texan walks into a bar and say I'll bet anyone here $500 bucks I can fart the Star Spangled Banner. Great stuff on the harmonica. I'm so happy to have it. I got it for a steal from a friend. Sure hope I didn't offend anyone by starting a music thread. I see the guitar thread as being more for those who are musicians, or sort of musicians like me. Sort of shop talk. There has been a lot of great music posted here. As for the music lovers thread, I thought we could try to attract more folks to some of this good music that has been posted as some folks may not come here that often to talk about guitars and such. If someone comes across a good tune you could post it here and as well in the music lovers thread. PB

In the guitar thread there has been a continual gravitation towards music in general. So I was thinking there may be a few here who are interested in music and have not so much interest in guitars in general who are missing out on some of the great discussions we are having on music. So I am propsing this thread in order to get to some of you who are interested in music in general.Please feel free to post some ideas on your favorite tunes or artists.I'm goint to start with an artist who I have seen live and would recommend to anyone who enjoys live music.Her group has several albums and most of you would enjoy the Godly content.Her name is Allison Krausse and her band is Union Station.Here is a sample.

Like any other field or forum you should read through them first to gain some general insight before you start posting. It will help you see the broad picture of things. Once you put out a braod statement like that it's hard to take it back. Of course God works and there were Godly people that got attracted to VPs ministry. But I think once you read through this forum you will see he was in it for the money and attention.

Here's my 2 cents. When you live with someone is the time you see their faults close at hand. You may observe things that will scare you alittle. This is the time you need to show patience, kindness and forgivenss more than ever. Don't run deal with them one at a time. Try to meet them somewhere in the middle. It means you may have to bend alittle but they should too. Remember relationships are built they just happen all of a sudden. I'd read some books by Dr. Phil. He is pretty practical when it comes to these types of things. LOL

Thanks for the video on John Mc.. The only was to get those nice fast smooth runs is to play in front of a metronome for hours. He must be in love with one. As for the signal proc.. I have a Line 6 amp. They have some nice effects too. One thing I like about them is they make me sound better than I am.

I believed before I got involved with the Way. I didn't believe everything in the class. I questioned a lot of it. Especially the mathematical approach of believing and operating the manifestation. For example the more you believe the more you recieve-not true. It contradics the word. We can't work to believe. It was like applying a formula or something. Same thing with the manifestations. How come I never got much revalation. I SITs as much as the next dupe. There was some good stuff, and that I am thankful for. But they sure tried to make you pay for it. That was the problem. I still believe but don't have to pay anymore.
