Aww-I was hoping for a "big" finish.

Great thread-this sounds like fun. Your church is a redneck church if- -the confessional doubles as a photo booth. -there is more teeth in the sermon in the front row. -the minister says "git er done" at the end of each exhortation. -"arm wrestling" is the big draw at church picnics. -the last supper was "beer and pizza".

Sky- I think academics were elevated way too high in Twi-land. Never did hear much teaching from the gospels. What was that all about? Maybe VP was afraid to see Jesus Christ lived love, which was something he didn't know or want to do. Now that I've left, I see more of the love of God in church goers I've met who know one tenth of the word that tiwts know. I think, that practice is much more useful than knowledge. Someone who practices the love of God can actually help someone.

"Boring"is the word. We left a few years back. The SNS teachings are scripted, the classes are scripted. Way Productions are about as exciting as watching "Yanni". I've seen more excitement in a commercial for buying a funeral plot.

I think you've got too much time on your hands. LOL

Dear Sky- I think you have a point. Why did we try to protect our people. That's exactly what I tried to do. Maybe it's human nature. Speaking for myself, I was hoping things whould change at HQ. I finally figured it out == I left.

Waysider-The reason generic brands work differently with the name brands in drugs is because the bonding agents used. The ingredients may be the same but the bonding agents may be different and that affects the way they are obsorbed. Some people may not be affected by these bonding agents so it's a mater of trail and error. As for general foods. I'd take the generic brands. You aren't paying for the name.

Bravo D. At least you knew where the money was going. A good cause at that eh!

People twist the scriptures to suit their own needs. So did twi and VPee. There is no place where is says believing is a law. If you check the context around most of the uses of the word believe, Jesus Christ is referring to salvation. Believe and you shall receive etc. Has nothing to do with if you need a hundred bucks you wish for it and it apprears. That's circus tricks.Any other references to moving of mountains etc. was in the context of miracles and required the use of manifestations. Twits made a law out of this and still use it today as a catch phrase to give them a way out of any situation they don't want to take the time to handle when things go wrong. They don't care about people's hearts. If anything screws up in any way, it's your believing. This gives them an answer for everything.

Happy Birthday BB-Thanks for all you contribute here. PB

Why did you join if you think this is not a good place? You haven't taken the time to get involved, but are quick to judge. Doesn't sound like you understand love much. I think people are involved here because they do feel loved.

Thanks for all your encouragement. Johhny-I'm glad you got back into boating. I'm a boater and love it. I plan to do this change slowly, one step at a time. I Have done well in my present profession and can afford to take my time.

Happy Bday my fellow 11th. I'll spare you the Mountain jokes, just keep rockin' on.

Just wondering if anyone has reconsidered what they truly wanted to do career wise before their involvement with twi and what you do now after you've left. I had goals that I dumped after getting involved with twi. Now I'm thinking is it too late to change? I'm thinking about a big change in my life. Sort of back along the lines of what I was heading for before twi. What do you think?
-
Thanks Cat- You have helped me understand how I was "hooked" by twi. It relieves me to some extent as to why I condenmed myself so much for being so stupid as to not see the trap. Twi's indoctrination must be done very subtily and in a "baby step" fashion or none of us would have fallen for it.

No kidding, perfedtion is of the Lord-barf and all that rot. It's gonna take some time to get out of the rat race we were in. I'm still trying to change many things in my life. As to quitting a job. If you can''t afford to just quit, why not just go out and find another one on your days off.

It was the same twit-mog leadeshipship who ran LEAD. They were full of pride and ego. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I remember the brain dead leader we had telling us to follow every footstep she took so we would learn to follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ-(gag me.) Then the next thing I knew they got us lost and we walked for two days in the wilderness with no food or water. LOTS OF FUN.

I think there were ulterior motives to VPees plan for the corps. I think he wanted to beat into submission some good hearted believers to do "his will" vs "God's will" by subtle manoeuvers. Yes I agree we were "herded" like cattle. We were also roped, branded and penned up.

I liked the poultry in motion one. I've got one. What do you call a chiken who crossed the road twice and then rolls in the mud- A dirty double crosser.
-
I agree with you on the motivation behind the corpusle program. For the most part it was one of deceit and lies. It's hard to believe God was able to work in those situations. But I have to say God is bigger than my small brain. I will say one thing, there were a few good hearted people like you who did not let themselves get hardened by twi's system of error. Your example affected my life and I will always remember it. I never saw your heart hardened in any way. Your life continues to touch many here. I think you would be a great writer. I'd buy your books.
