You need a class too. Like "power for abundantly controlled living". Maybe you would need a class on how to properly cut mints for the leaders too.

DM-I want to know where your friends place is in Mexico. I go ther every winter to Playa, it's a great place. This year I'm also goin' to see Jerry Jeff Walker at a music camp in Belise Jan. 20-27.

Bow-Love John Prine. I love "Dear Abbey" and "Glory of true love" too.If you like him you would like Jerry Jeff Walker. I'm into him as well.Bulwinkl-enjoyed your wife's song. Thanks nice voice. Thanks for the tip on J Hartfod. I'll look him upRG-Josh Turner, never heard of him, wow what a voice.Sudo-Loved that tune, more please. Here's one. We use it on the boat. Handy especially in fog.

Stop sending money is a good idea, I wouldn't send them a dime. But as I said in one other thread Rosie doesn't need anyone's money. She's sittin' on a big pile of it already. All they would do is reprove you and tell you ""God isn't going to spit in your direction" if you don't abundantly share. What a crock. They should be put in jail.

If You Could Pick the President of TWI From Greasespot...
polar bear replied to Eagle's topic in About The Way
I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. I don't think the fight would be worth it. It would be better to start over. So if ther was a new start, mabe Hammy=he could go nuts. -
I think in many ways the avitar reflects personality rather than looks. Take me for instance, I'm warm and fuzzy like. Right Ala?
-
Ala-Was that Kate Rusby?

I'm having the same problem in my left hand, but it's more in the wrist. I wonder if it's from bending it around the fret board so much. Hope we can find a solution.

I sort of like the idea of leaving it to the imagination. I think of all you girls as young and cute. It makes it more exciting that way. CK as Marilyn Monroe, I like that. Abi-I think of you as the girl on Anne of Green Gables. Pond-Love long hair, I'll think of you as the Audrey Hepburn type. Belle- I'm thinking sophistication but funny like Dianne Lang or Judy Garland. Now girls, please don't spoil my dream.

Thanks for sharing your heart RG. It blessed me truyl.

One drink every time- "Standing on the promises is sung" One drink every time-"the choir leader says "wasn't that great". One drink every time Rosie says "well bless your hearts". Thinking of these things almost med me puke.

Good points everyone. There are a lot of other "ifs". I just wanted to know what others thought. Maybe we can help some get out who are still thinking about what the "ifs" are for them. I'm glad I'm out and I don't think any religion would suit my bill. I do love to help others and give. I'll just do it when I want to do it, not when I'm told to as I know the twits are.

You should put it in the prayer forum also. I'll sure pray for your situation.

I've got a nice ermerald corps ring with a holy spirit dove in it you can buy.

Would you have stayed in twi- If Dr. Wierwille had been an honest to goodness believer, and was true to his wife, and not into making money, nor heavy drinking and was into changing anything he found out was wrong in the doctrine taught by the way. And if he had turned it over to a honest to goodness minister after he wanted to retire. If there is such a thing. (Boy that's a lot of stuff)
-
Another Dan-ditto. You hit the nail right on the head. The people were great. There were some honest loving folks. And there were some who believed and taught the Word with an honest heart and a non traditional approach. It really did draw us in. I just wish I would have seen it sooner that VP was messed up with his ego and money hungry heart

Yea I'll bet we were told a lie about how he died. They lied about everything else. Although he did drink as much as he prayed on women. So let's palce our bets, was it herpes or the the liver.

Personally I wouldn't buy it. I'd go with something more reliable. Maybe you could find an old Honda CRV or RAV 4, if you want something to handle snow.
-
Waysider-I loved the Wm. Clarke thing. That's what I call "kick *** blues".
-
The first thing, you'd have to ask my wife. I'm too shy to say it here. And second is good music. Third, on the water, sailing. Fourth, I quess "good beer". Fifth, not so good "beer".

That aquarium one looks a little "fishy" to me.
-
Hammy-You crack me up. I've never known anyone like that. Sorry I've gotta go, I'm late for a meeting, dammit.
-
Live Mr. Bean-You gotta see his new movie. It's a hoot.

After hearing Eagles and Izi's accounts I realize why I avoid churces like the plague. Even growing up the "wierdest" people I met in school were the phony religious ones who attended churches. They always acted so nice as to entice you into their religion so they could get "brownie" points. Then once you got to know them, you found out they were the most backstabbing people you would ever meet. Why didn't I run when twi came along. What drew me to twi was the people acted somewhat normal. Now I know why: most of them didn't have religious backgroounds, they were normal peole who wanted to know about God. It didn't take long for the religion: law, pressure, backstabbing, oppression to set in. Now if I'm around a religious person I run for the hills. I am thankful for what I learned, and as many here have said we could have learned it from a number of sources such as BG Lenard. Only religion can make God confusing to people. What about JCNG? Let's get the religious thinking out of it. Of course Jesus Crist was a man. He walked here on earth didn't he. If you want to call him God or part God that's fine by me, but he was still a man. What about ADAN? What's the point of living if you are alive as soon as you die. Let's get it over with a go to heaven. Why not forget about all the pedantry that twi got us into and just love God and others. I think God has given us a great place here on this earth for the most part. Why not worship God in your every day life wherever you are. You don't need a building (too much rent). I teach my kids in my daily life, and by example. That's what is going to help them anyway as they start to face the pressures of life. They have seen me pray and handle my life. If you want involvement with a group then join one. It doesn't have to be a church. There are a lot of social groups out there. This will get them to interact with others outside of a religious environment and help them in later life. We joined a boat club. These people are more loving and forgiving and willing to help than those we knew in twi. Actually we joined before we left twi. One time we moved and it was the people in our boat club who helped us move. It was about that time we said "bye bye twi".
