oh... those stRangers are teasing us again... 9-3 over the last 12 and still just barely staying out of the race for last place... funny thing is, some of the pundits around here are starting to wonder if it's coincidence that they've done this since Tex and Blaylock were put on the DL. Both of them were vocal in their wanting Buck gone. Both have said negative things about Washington (the new manager)... and on top of that, the players all know that Tex is on his way out either by trade or free agency (he's a Boras guy). Sadly, he's all about the money... oh well, guess that makes him like a lot of the others ... you folks up in the NE will enjoy him because he is a very good player. But it is nice to see them put this little 'streak' together...

I was an exotic dancer... oops... not really I just made that up... I had my first "job" when I was 12 working in a donut shop... had various paper routes and lawn mowing jobs before that since I was about 8... had jobs all the way through junior high and high school...

starman... you know it's like that everywhere "they" go... freaking nation! bandwagoners if you ask me... most of 'em anyway... I really think the "work the pitcher" approach Washington brought with him from Oakland has messed with their heads a lot and reaped disastrous results (so far)... the key, at least it seems to me, to their offense all of these years has been how aggressive they've been at the plate... which has seemed to be their only hope as lame as the pitching has always been... this is where pitchers come to die... and we always seem to make the wrong decisions on which ones to keep (latest example is Chris Young to San Diego)... Let's see if the two they took in the first round this year can be spoiled as well... ...and would somebody please buy the team from Hicks?

Yes George... it's the incredible "What's Up Tiger Lilly?" Dooj, you should rent this for family movie night... Woody Allen took your standard Asian Kung Fu/Spy movie of the 60's and wrote/dubbed in a completely different comedy script for dialogue. Genius. (and the first pic is Naomi Watts)
