Papi and Manny are inside their heads, althought I do think that CC might have been thrown off a little in game one by that line drive right back at his head... Papi and Manny are not just good hitters they're great hitters... but shihite! the Indians pitchers are professionals, too! Challenge them, go after them! ...then whatever happens happens! Don't enter each at bat with them having already given in! I hope it's a "good series" but in reality I don't think the nation has anything to worry about... (now, I'll be busy watching a different game in a different sport this afternoon)

No.... a stumble would have sent him on past the bag towards the outfield... even the pic you posted is showing him leaping towards third base. It's really very easy to see... he pushes off with his foot towards third base and the shortstop... at an angle perpendicular to where his momentum would've carried him... It was an aggressive play, more power to him if he'd gotten away with it... he didn't though, so admit it and move on... there's no sin in that...

Well... I'm pretty sure I'm going to enjoy watching this series either way... two young teams going at it... (If you take off your Dback colored glasses though, you can see him push off (propel himself) with his food off the side of the base towards the left)

I don't think anyone would've blamed them for just booing... Now (since you like to argue so much) take a look at the replay, the runner actually pushed off of the base with his foot to get to the shortstop... and then (of course) there's the fact that he also threw his elbow up... quit making excuses, it's only one game of seven, I'm hoping your boys bounce back cuz I want an entertaining series... heck, someone's gotta lose and this game it was them... but the Rockies are on some kind of insane roll right now aren't they?

Billy D... you're right, they are DISINGENUOUS!!! They're also a number of other names that are synonymous with dishonorable who won't come out of the shadows where they choose to live. I personally don't care whether they ever post here again or not since they've proven they are not to be trusted and am glad that they have been exposed.

Nice display of sportsmanship by (a few) of the DBack fans tonight... I hate it when that happens. The actions of a few get the whole group labled as "bush league"...
