Nandon, did you notice that you specifically asked Mike about two statements attributed to him and he spent all of those words in a post to you and did not answer? see... that's how he is... And Mike (and everyone else here who was involved in those threads) knows that what I posted as "the synopsis" is exactly what he has stated... yet when asked about, becuase the ideas are so far-fetched, will rarely if ever answer... He (Mike) knows that all of those points in "the synopsis" are points that he has put forth as truth in the past.

...people who care a lot more about the people here and what goes on here than you do.

They have a "public trust" ... they don't necessarily need to post responses about all of this stuff on GSC... but they need to post it PUBLICLY somewhere... ...they betrayed the public trust... now they hide in the shadows hoping it will all blow over... They don't want folks to know what's going on and would dearly like this to go quietly away... IF they truly wanted it all fixed they'd let the chips fall where they may... so far it looks like they don't want to because they're not falling where they would like...

OM... c'mon... define "wrong" any way you want and then answer the question... define it in simple or complex terms... just assume it's "wrong" and quit dancing around like Mike. I've known for a while that you've come around to 'veepee holds some responsibility'... where we differ is that "veepee holds ALL of the responsibility". I know that there were women who willingly engaged in sexual acts with veepee and others and were proud of it to boot... one (that I know of) even posts here at GSC... but that's not the point, that doesn't excuse veepee's behavior... HE knew better, HE should've done better... unless (in his mind) it was all about money and sex from the beginning... then he'd have no thought about taking advantage of every situation he thought he could get away with... oh... wait... hmmm

What will be interesting to see is if all of the highly paid talent there, that is acting like 'if Joe goes, we go' will actually follow through with it... Oh sure, their services, most of them, will be sought by other teams... but if the NYY aren't in the bidding for them, they're not going to get as much $$$. On the other hand, I did like the stand they took with A-Rod telling him that if he opts out they won't be in the bidding... same effect there... less $$$ if the NYY aren't in the bidding... (personally, I'd love it if he opts out, that frees up more money for the stRangers to spend on our own team)
