DAVE!!!! SOUTH!!! not east!
-
yeah... watching him flash all five fingers is a different thing! I noticed him doing it with Okijima as well last night, does he have a ton of pitches as well? I was just thinking last night (yes, sometimes I "think" although most of the time you wouldn't know it) the same thing... that and the fact that opposing pitchers have to face Youklis, Papi, Manny, Lowell and Drew all in a row... there's no room for error with any of them! and they've got pitching as well... (Gagne!) It's no wonder they're in the playoffs each year... (sorry for the "Gagne!" starman, just thought I'd see if I could make ya flinch!)
-
ya know WW... I was thinking that myself! (scary for you!) cuz that's pretty much what the hornets do...
-
Personally I think that most of the "confrontations" between LCM and veepee were staged... got no proof, but it happened on too many occasions IMO for it not to be... WG, I'm glad you came to FW when you did... as only you know here, that was a critical time in my life... thank you again.

hoping you check in... more often! happening day dude!
-
I was stalking you one day and looked on the "rate my professor" page for you! They all love you as a teacher and a few think you're kind of "hippy-ish"

Vickles (my vacuuming friend) she doesn't "take" courses... she "gives" them... she's a highly respected and 'very well thought of by her students' per-fesser at the University of Oklahoma! of course, it is Oklahoma, but that doesn't discount it too much...

I was going to suggest dipping it in wax to perserve it and (hopefully) contain whatever else is in there... but then they'd probably just eat their way through the wax. The shellac idea sounds good though... give it a try (just don't ask me to keep it in my house). From your link Cowgirl: Call one of them in your area, tell them what you'd like to do, let them do it for you. It might cost you a couple of bucks, but if you really want it for decoration...

Larry, I don't "get it" because IMO they publicly declared/vowed to abide by this code of conduct. IMO they should then "air it out" in public to salvage what little credibility it is that they have left... As I said, doesn't have to be here at GSC and in fact probably should be at their website... that would speak to "the public" that they have pledged this oath to. IMO that seems only fair. IMO (also) the 'give me a call or drop me an email' from JAL is another ploy to keep things on an uneven playing field. IMO it's a public trust they've violated that needs to be dealt with publicly. ADan, I would agree with what you've said here... and IMO the "more harshly" part (concerning the leaders of CES) is why they SHOULD acknowledge it publicly and let their followers know publicly, from their own 'mouths' exactly what they've done to re-establish any credibility along the lines of their own code of conduct. But as far as I know, on their own site, they've never even really acknowledged that anything has occurred... much less how they have dealt with it. I can't really speak for DWBH, but I'd bet that he'd be just as satisfied if they answered the questions or dealt with the issues on their own site... because it would surely end up being posted here as well... The way I see it is that the longer they do not deal with it "in the open" the more their ministry will erode and the trust that their followers have in them will continue to erode... just as it has in TWI. It's a similar situation. Very similar. They should learn from that. And concerning their "hawking their wares" here... many times their responses have included "we answer that in our book titled "" that is available online at "...

I notice that Wakefield was left off of the WS roster... I wonder how the gyro ball will act in the thin air? It's a good thing he has about 8 or 9 other pitches!

I remember a time (not in-res) when the fellow who was in charge of bringing the wine for communion brought MD2020. ...it worked just fine!

First: Starman I'm sorry for your loss and hope the game last night lifted your Pop's spirits some. My thoughts are with you and your family. Second: That's a great story about the kid from Odessa, Texas. A really neat story. Third: I was wrong about the outcome of game 2 ...no surprise there, there's a reason I don't gamble much! I think the 8 day layoff hurt them in this respect: They had 8 days to 'stop and think' "we're in the World Series"! Maybe I was imagining it, but it just seemed to affect them more than it did the BoSox. I thought I could see it last night in that young pitcher... although he and the other pitchers did a miraculous job on Papi and Manny, it just seemed like he was trying to overthrow, always throw the perfect pitch... I don't know, it just seemed the pressure of the situation got to them although it was a very good game... but once it get to Papalbon it was church. (sorry starman, I'll never learn how to spell his name) I also think the CR were a little in awe of playing in Fenway, with a WS crowd of BoSox fans... at least I thought I saw it on their faces when they'd show them during the times the crowd was really making noise. I'm hoping that the CR batters will get back to their 'taking what the pitchers give them' style of hitting. It's what got them there and it just seemed that most of them were swinging for the green monster or the short right field no matter the pitch... I think that's a trap that many teams fall into at Fenway. Well... the home team has held serve, let's see what happens in Denver... I hope the games aren't played in arctic conditions and I hope that the CR can pull a couple or three out of the bag... Again, starman, be well and be at peace and be a comfort to your Pop as much as you can... I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say 'our thoughts are with you'...
-
well... of course I'd rather see my team win... but I much prefer a close game... we'll see how the young kid does tonight, how he handles the pressure... we already know that Schilling can, it's just a question of whether or not his 'stuff' is good enough. Starman: have you started on your second Sam Adams yet?

bubble gum? hmmm I never thought of that...

Journey from Christianity to Atheism
Tom Strange replied to Suda's topic in Doctrinal: Exploring the Bible
In reading through this thread I've seen the phrase "Christian values" thrown around a lot... and how, if someone is not Christian they could eventually lose those values through generations... But the "values" that we call "Christian values" have been around since long before Christianity haven't they? So that kind of knocks that point off doesn't it? -
It kind of looks like that "lady" has a moustache and beard!

Well... there is this little event in Houston weekend after next... Like it? ...heck, he makes it!
-
...probably not a bad idea. I've got no dog in this fight, I just want to see some good (close) games... blowouts are no fun (to me)...
