Andruw Jones has been solid and productive for years... if I recall correctly he started really young in Atlanta... maybe he was just tired of playing in the heat and humiditiy? I think he's got a few more left in him... Allegedly the stRangers are back into 'building from within' while adding one or two key pieces each year through trades (without selling the farm)... we'll see... they've taken this stance before but Hicks has never had the patience to see it through. That's not a bad deal the Tigers made IMO, especially if Dontrelle bounces back (which he probably will)... they gave away alot of top prospects in their system but they got two proven major league talents...

yeah... "no chores for one day" (he gets to pick the day)... but I'm sure all of us guys would agree the "get out of jail free" coupon is much more valuable! (I know I've often wished I had a few, or even one!)

Sullivan of MLB.com, the Rangers have traded outfielder Freddy Guzman to Detroit for first baseman Chris Shelton, who exploded on the American League in his 2005 rookie season, hitting .299/.360/.510 with 18 home runs in 388 at-bats, but who regressed a bit in 2006 and spent all of 2007 in AAA, where he hit a disappointing .269/.381/.420 with 14 homers in 498 at-bats. I'm really disappointed in how they're handling this whole "trade Laird" thing... it's beyond frustrating... if you're trying to move the guy as a major league catcher then why oh why would you come out a few days ago and name Salty as "your catcher"??? ...it does nothing but decrease his trade value. I'm baffled...

Great points Sunesis... My thoughts about this 'second chapter' are pretty much the same as yesterday: "if Personal Prophecy were "of God" or "from God" wouldn't it be perfect from the get go?" Their answers seem to remain "it is of/from God" (and it's in our book)... so that only leads me to conclude that those who were operating the manifestation/ministry were not doing so "of/from God"... it would kind of shoot "God is light and in him is no darkness at all" all to pieces wouldn't it?
