I remember this (giardiasis) being a problem in Scranton, PA when I was there for a few months in the eighties... we put bottled water (gratis) in all of the hotel rooms... it had something to do with Beaver poop if I remember correctly...

yeah HegotHope... I just upgraded my laptop... the old one was a P3 windows 98, it was only 3.5 yrs old... worked OK for the spreadsheets but was really a beating for anything else... and you can't really upgrade a 98 machine to XP can you? P.S. you getting a kickback from Dell these days!? :D-->

Sounds like you got a nice setup Chas... ...just thought I'd throw this tidbit out there: If any of you have 'Fry's Electronics' in your area (and you're looking to upgrade screen size on your monitor)... they usually have refurbed 21" Dell Trinitrons... for $249. Those things are $599 new. They're really nice, got two of 'em... sometimes they're on display, sometimes you have to ask... the one here just keeps them in the back most of the time... they get them in "regularly" the store told me... so if they're not in stock, check back...
