I'm still having trouble figuring out who Eve was a lesbian with... she was the only woman on earth... right?

Put yourself out there... explore... each day that you are out of TWI with your eyes open is another day of growth... I don't know if "it" ever all goes away... Heck, I walked away over 20 years ago and "it" still pops into my mind now and then... I don't know if it depends on 'how deeply you were in' or not though... I was all the way in... ate it, breathed it, tried to live it... so "it" saturate my being pretty heavily back then... but each day a little more fades into the abyss... Do not be afraid to explore though, as some have suggested... as long as you keep your eyes open you should be OK... there's a world full of people and things out there to enjoy... and you can enjoy them... There is a place for you on this planet even if you're not in TWI...

What is Universal Unitarian?
Tom Strange replied to insurgent's topic in Doctrinal: Exploring the Bible
OH! those Baptists are different from Methodists and Presbyterians... !!! -
Yes Ala... there were twelve of them with all of their instruments... they had on little black and silver Amazing Sea Monkey outfits and were wearing sombreros on their little Amazing Sea Monkey heads!
-
well Zix... you made me do it! :D--> the part of my post that I'd focus on is "those that have ears to hear... have heard" ...my head hurts so much just from reading others beating theirs against the brick wall...
-
man... you go away for a few days and look what happens! everybody please take a snowcone, turn, and walk away very slowly.... those that have ears to hear... have heard... :D-->

What do you think of Mikeology?
Tom Strange replied to Oakspear's topic in Doctrinal: Exploring the Bible
Sorry Oak... couldn't vote... didn't see an option for "I think the guys in the white suits with the big butterfly nets are after Mike." -
ShegotJohn said: Ya know... as I was reading (well... skimming actually) the article I was thinking "I've seen this before somewhere"... and you're right... I think I'll go get my notes out and see if it matches... nah...I wonder if Steve C will come visit us over on the 9th Corps thread sometime?

Loved the final episode! "Swin-gin" is turning out to have a lot of demons he's trying to appease isn't he? Actually being kind sometimes... Bullock will continue to ROCK... I think he will tolerate Al, but will let Al know where the line is and that he better not cross it... I think he's probably the only person in town that Al respects (other than the Doc)... Tolliver is going to be the most evil I think... it'll be interesting to see how he works with Bullock as well, although I think he respects him as well... I did enjoy the beat down that Bullock administered though.... that guy really deserved it... When does "The Wire" come back? I liked Carnivale OK... it just takes a lot of work (and I don't think you should have to work so hard to keep up with a show)... it was almost too "Twin Peak-ish" for me...

ahh HopeR... it will... it always does... It wasn't so bad... they just had some things to tidy up before they got into this season... I didn't think it was so bad... but it was predictable...

Jardi... I'm down in San Benito (a little south of Harlingen near the country of mi espoza) for a family fiesta... not much time... but when I left DFW on Thursday, some parts of the area had already had 15 inches of rain since Sunday...
-
ya go away for a couple of days on an Amazing Sea Monkey adventure and look what happens... we're about as far south in Texas as you can get without being out of the country... somewhere outside of San Benito... a little south of Harlingen... for a family get together... a 40th anniversary of a cousin and his wife... good folks... all of the Tia's keep shoving food at us... oh well that's their job! And the Amazing Sea Monkey colony just to the east (on South Padre) is sending over an Amazing Sea Monkey Mariachi Band!

Oak: shouldn't that be: "Used to drive a WOW mobile"?! And I'm also thinking... "why should that even matter?" It would seem compassion is needed more than nit-pickyness..

I saw it today... it was pretty good...

mj said: (my response in bold) Rascal's experience is not about someone going into a program and changing their mind. You have missed the point entirely if that's what you think. This thread is essentially about what is an abortion? And Rascal's experience is germaine to what TWI taught publicly versus what they 'counselled' folks to do privately.
-
I won't even dignify the first part of your above post with a response. as for the second part: It's about Abortion. It's about are you killing something or not. And HOW TWI presented it to the masses and HOW they presented it individually in counselling sessions HAS A LOT TO DO WITH IT. How it affected different people has a lot to do with it.
