I know what you mean Shaz... I think I used some of the PFAL stuff for the base of my first couple of teachings, but after I got comfortable "in my skin"... I'd just sit down about 30 minutes before twig and put together something about whatever was "hot on my heart" at the time... they were pretty good teachings too (IMHO), not because of me, but because they really worked... they actually applied to the folks who were there on that day at that time... others taught this way as well... I know things changed a lot in the 80's and 90's though... and I would've left if it had been dictated what to teach... if I hadn't already...

In the mid seventies, when I was out WOW, my Mom held the only garage sale she's had in her almost 79 years on this planet... sold around 150 of my albums for almost nothing... oh well... replaced most of them with CDs anyway! For some reason 'Low Spark of High Heel Boys' and Dave Mason's 'Alone Together' (marble pressing) didn't get taken, but my colored Nazz album did...

Every time I've been in the chat room it's been almost totally upbeat, happy and cheerful... I don't know which chat room you were going to Fontanana, but it's generally a "happy place"... much more fun than Jerry Springer... (although at times there I do get confused)

The book was "The Marxist Minstrels"... we were all being possessed by the heartbeat rythems in the music!
