It's so nice to see my family working the word with such diligence through all of these years. Many an hour has been spent doing word studies in the ancient Boolsheeta Texts. Ah class... I just wish you could see it in the originals! Thank you for sharing ZMac... you have blessed our hearts.

The wife liked it a lot. Me? ...it's two hours of my life I'll never get back... (Guys... you know how sometimes you have to go see the chickflick with the wife? DO ANYTHING to avoid seeing this movie... even if you have to poke yourself in the eye... it'll keep you from trying to claw them out halfway through the movie)

This movie is by the "Old School" guys isn't it? That's exactly why I'm going to see it! :D-->

Well of course WayferNot! I then brought my sister and sainted mother to the class... Mom thought "it was nice" but not anything new... you all know about the sister... :(--> Most of the folks I brought to fellowship/class were total strangers I'd met through witnessing... well there was my barber and his kids...

I've heard some argue that they're unfair because the teams you're playing against in the other league could be a lot stronger than the teams you're playing against in your league... but I don't know... they're still professional baseball players right? I just wish they'd do away with the DH... and everyone could play an equal number of games against everyone else... both leagues!

OK... I forget sometimes how "we" must look to an "outsider" (although you are a fellow ex-cultie!)... many of us had those resources, and more... but, in my case anyway, if I found something contradictory I'd ask about it one on one with someone "more knowledgable" than I... and I wasn't any kind of an expert in the greek or hebrew field... so whatever answer they gave me I bought... (my bad!) ...but I don't ever recall any discussion groups "debating" anything related to PFAL or TWI unless it was positive debate... (my time period is mid to late 70's) This was while "in"... now after we got out... there were many debates!

And sometimes a couple of 'very friendly' girls would come up to you in a bar and start talking to you... being very interested in you... and after some time would invite you to come to a 'get together' with some 'friends' of theirs... and of course you were 'flattered' that they were so 'interested' in you and you wanted to return the favor (never mind that you had shared a couple of pitchers of beer with them)... they weren't 'religious' at all... what harm could there be...

It seems to be sort of a catch-22 there Galen... the further you distance your 'hardware' from the water, the bigger splash the 'torpedoes' might make (from falling farther)... hmmm... I don't know if you can necessarily have one without the other... unless you choose to "go dry" as per ckeer's models... I think I'd choose the "no dangle" option and take my chances on the splashes...

I don't know Refiner... but Mike says it's because veepee got the revelation directly from God so it must be right...

I guess it depends on 'traffic'... I just got an 1150.9... but it's still OK for me...

oh yeah... definitely brainwashing techniques involved... definitely (said in my best "Rain Man" voice)... the pattern in which it was introduced, coupled with the "undershepherding", coupled with the "motive for taking the class" (you're right George, your's was not unique), came together to make saps out of us all... but we're smarter now... right?
