great story pirate... I just saw the other statue in Harlingen, Tx. It's the same size I think and is on the grounds of the military school my stepson is at... one of the soldiers (they say) is buried there beside it... a great lesson in brotherhood...

Mike... what about HCW's post telling you that the books came from the tapes, didn't you hear? ...what about HCW's post telling you that the books were 'written' by folks at TWI working from the tapes and that vpw had little to do with the process, didn't you hear? ...here's someone who was there telling you that your entire thesis is built on an incorrect assumption... so... you ignore it. Could this possibly be the reason that you are the only one on God's green earth who believes your theory? ...but then how would you explain that you've actually seen Jesus teaching from a PFAL book?

I've never felt I was "normal" (whatever that is)... and I've always felt (pre-corps, in corps, post corps) that if someone is your friend, much less your "brother" or "sister" then you allow them to be who ever they are and they allow you the same... and the relationship only grows... I hated (and dreaded) doing it when I walked away, but knew that I had to... the part I hated (and dreaded) wasn't leaving "the ministry", I knew that had to happen, it was taking you guys out of my life as a result of that... I'm so very glad we're "together" again (and wish there were more around)...

I wonder if I can find someone to sponsor my golf vacation?

I've used cable for years... (not for TV though) it's gotten faster and more reliable... thought about switching to DSL but both the wife and I work from home (after working at work) and we couldn't really stand it being any slower... (she uses a lot of bandwidth with her work stuff)... I thought about the DirecTV deal but it's about twice as much as the cable I have now... And the house is set up entirely wireless, two B laptops and a G card in the desktop... works wonderfully once I got it configured and put the "booster ears" on the router...

I had this old rusted out VW Microbus and one time I was driving back to Emporia from somewhere with my sister and a few other corps folk in the back and all of a sudden we were off the shoulder driving through a field beside the highway somewhere in Kansas... I woke up pretty quickly... and they made me let someone else drive...
