djs, welcome. I can appreciate you're wanting to know mostly (if not all) about the recent stuff... but what you'll find in the threads here (and you might want to dig back a pages for some older threads) is a pretty complete history of lies and abuse that has been with this 'ministry' for decades. I really don't know what TWI is doing these days... do they help anyone or anything that's not TWI? Is a human life of value to them if it isn't taking a class or contributing money? Do they only care about people or things that bring value to TWI? I also agree with nandon... ask your leaders... but I would also stress that the past does matter...

well the stRangers got their final 3 deals done today and have the entire 40 man roster under contract... meanwhile in Florida... looks like the Nats are having fun with Mr. Soriano... my gosh, if he won't listen to Frank Robinson who will he listen to? If he would've switched to Centerfield he could've had a very, very prosperous life here... most people are saying "good riddance" and I find myself thinking that sometimes as well when I hear these stories... BUT... he individually, personally changed the outcome of several games when he was here with both his bat and his base speed... his defense was always an adventure though... he made the simple look impossible and the impossible look simple, which IMO is a problem with concentration... good luck to them... I wish he was still here... hopefully patrolling centerfield...

OK... thanks! I didn't need the "owner" in the path... but my temp files were all from today... I went to the prefetch thing and cleared those files. I clear my temporary files pretty much daily. I bought that SecureIE program from McAfee a year or so ago and it's got a desktop icon that I click on and it clears out my temp files and cache, cookies, etc...

from what I can tell, when they sweep it makes the ice smoother and lets the rock slide further/easier... the subtle spin they put on the rock allows it to curl one way or another further down the track as it slows... I'm pretty sure these guys drink free at any bar with a shuffleboard layout...

It looks like a sport I could get into... I only participate in sports where you can drink a beer and have a cigar while participating... this doesn't technically rule out Tennis... but teh games are over pretty fast...

I'd take that cable modem back to them and buy one... the money you save monthly will pay for it shortly... linksys makes a nice combination cable modem/router (even wireless if you want it)... on another topic: everyone else agree with this? "they" say that, even though Theo was on sabbatical, that all of the moves made had his fingerprints all over them, that the stand=ins were on the phone with him constantly... We'll see how our 'young lad' does... so far hopes are as high as they've ever been...

Pipes, I got out early (in the early 80's) however, my sister and her husband and family are still very much in (leaders)... so I too was alone... there was no GSC, no family (because my sister was still in) to turn to... just sort of finding my way on my own... but you know what? ...just keep on going doing whatever you need to do, I know that sounds simple, but it's all you can do... as others have said, see a counselor if you wish, post here if you wish... I think you'll find that no matter what you post here there is probably someone who has gone through the same thing or similar... What I do know is that (whether you know it or not now) you've been 'putting yourself second' (or third) for some time now, that's what TWI conditions you to do BUT you will continue to blossom out of that mind set... things that are 'normal' to most humans aren't immediately normal to you... yet... but they will be... TWI conditioned us all to feel guilty when we did something for ourselves... for no other reason except that we wanted to do it... what kind of freedom is that? That's just one of the lies that we all bought into at one time or another... one of the neatest things that will happen to you is when you finally realize that it's not 'wrong' to do something for yourself... even if it's just 'laying around watching movies on Lifetime'... A lot of us put TWIs agenda ahead of our own hopes, dreams and aspirations but now you have the chance to take them back... enjoy life every chance you get... sometimes the 'purpose' or 'profit' of doing something is just for yourself... and there's nothing at all wrong with that... Take your life and enjoy in whatever way you wish... and don't feel guilty about it... be happy... you're like a blossoming flower now... you're not going to go from a bud to a full bloom in one day, but you will get to full bloom... you will... you had years of conditioning by TWI that got you to where you are... you're now taking back your life and you'll be a beautiful bloom here at the GSC and where ever else you go...
