hey djs... welcome to the club! Where do you think most (if not all) of us came from? We've been through the same things. Good luck on your journey... I'd just suggest (as others have) that you don't 'write-off' other churches/fellowships out there... remember that's one of the things that TWI wants you to do... for the longest time, years after I'd left, I just dismissed them in total because it was so ingrained in my thoughts that they're counterfeits... just remember that it was the same TWI that told you that as well...

See Mike... there you go... you are ever so predictable... but I will respond to a couple of things you said... Honestly Mike, I've never heard that from anyone here... Mike, the quotes I present are good 'stand alone' quotes and their context doesn't change them... if you'd like to dismiss them as 'quirky' that's fine, doesn't bother me a bit... I and the other readers of these forums know that you presented them (at the time) in all earnestness just as you are now... Thanks again for responding as you always do, in a condescending albeit much nicer manner... oh... and let's not forget name calling... You're so predictable Mike, that's the only name I'll put on you... I won't stoop to your level... I've made no secret of the fact that from the beginning I just like "messing with you" because you're so fun to mess with... enjoy life bud... it's too short not to...

Mikey, Mikey, Mikey... I certainly don't hate you.. never have.. in fact I find you kind of amusing... arrogant and pompous... but amusing... And I would never want to limit your ability to post here, it would deprive me and many others of one of our avenues of entertainment... I didn't mean to come across that way... but just because I 'threaten' to post the Mike Synopsis doesn't mean I'm trying to chase you away... and I apologize to you and any other posters if it came across that way... It just means that sometimes I feel like you're in need of 'reining in' and I throw out that I'm going quote some of your posts because I know exactly how you'll respond... and then you do... it's like you're so fearful that by my posting your exact words people might discover something... I just do it as a service to your readers (but mostly for my own entertainment)... I'm sorry folks, it's a guilty pleasure of mine... I do not personally attack you (as you have me (and many other posters on this board) back when I used to attempt to have serious/legitimate discussions with you)... djs- I can second that (as well as family members who never were in)... you probably don't know it but my sister (whom I introduced to TWI) and her husband are Limb Leaders (or whatever they call them these days)... they never visit 'the family' here, even though our entire extended family lives in this area... (none of the others were ever involved in TWI) ...my mother, who is aged, has to go to visit them, halfway across the country if she wants to see them or her grandchildren...

yeah folks... c'mon in the water's fine... I'm sure you'll find a corner of the cafe that you'll be comfortable in...

I had one of those books for the VW as well... I used it in the back parking lot at Emporia when the entire exhaust manifold and system fell out of the bottom of my Orange 69 Microbus (with no back seats and blue shag carpet)... it had holes in the front floorboard where it had rusted through and you could watch the street go by if you moved the floor mat... We are old... I figure it works out though because my body feels like it's about 90 and my brain feels like it's 18... Those irons with the rollers... in the hotel business we called them "manglers"... not because that was their name, but because that's what it did to people when they got their hands/arms caught in them... Another thing on that old micro-bus... we drove it from DFW to Emporia through one of the worst ice storms ever to get back on time from hoho relo... didn't want to be late... all of the folks in the back (you know who you are) were bundled up in sleeping bags because you know they had no heater... the ice was about two inches thick all the way around the bus before we hit Oklahoma... heck, it took us about 3 hours just to get to Denton... blew a plug on the way but kept on truckin'... we were spraying de-icer on the inside of the windshield just so we could see out... and then we had our meeting that night and they went into the Jonestown thing... ...my feet were still burning because I'd put Cayenne in my socks to keep my feet warm...

As far as my personal thought processes go... IF anything I'm doing or encounter sounds remotely like "the theology of TWI" I immediately question it... and more often than not, discard it...

...and you'll never have that chance nandon (IMO)... to do so he'd have to admit guilt which would open up all sorts of liabilities for him and TWI... I'm sure his instructions (from the lawyers) were to shut up and go away... ...and you'll never have the chance with RFR or any of the others either for the same reasons...

So I don't think I'm any more off topic when posting on the subject of Mike than you are (since your posts are about Mike)! And Mike... have you forgotten how you once told/taught us that you had an actual physical Christ growing inside of you? The main reason you post at these boards is to flatter yourself... Don't make me come back here and post The Mike Synopsis...
