dangit! I didn't get here in time for the King Crimson one... I still have the LP bought the CD and have it on my MP3 player (of course) and turned my 17 year old step son onto them...

what if they're all happier now? ...does it matter who did what? ...there weren't any children involved in the B&J marriage... maybe it's for the best that they split when they did... for both of them... what if they're ALL happier?

and the knowledge flowed like rivers of living water... thanks folks, again Wow... those Taylor's, there's so many of them... and a lot of famous people use them... Which brings me to another question... I was looking on their website and they offer guitars made out of different woods... I'm sure they have different characteristics... can anyone share on those? While you're sharing about your other stuff... thanks again...

Thanks for the tips... my brother in law found some guitar at a pawn shop that was selling for real cheap (like $25) because they said it was "broken"... he takes a look at it and buys it... turns out there was something that was put in backwards by who ever had it before (what I don't know) and all he had to do was turn it around and it was perfect... This guitar, and I don't know what it's called, was made by some company in Japan that had taken some 'top of the line' Martin over there and just copied it completely... he had printed out something from the interenet about it... and they only made so many before they were stopped by Martin from making them... It sounds really sweet... wish I could remember the name though... looks just like your guitar Dave...

I can think of Danny Thomas, Rusty Hamer and Angela Cartwright (sp) but for the life of me can't remember the Mom's name... and now that I think of it, was there an older sister to Angela? ...carry on

I wasn't suggesting adding another element, I was questioning why that was one of the elements. When veepee taught this he always said "works for saint and sinner alike"... If it works for the sinner, I don't think that "Give God the glory" is a requirement. Now... I consider your statements of truth that I've quoted to be radical and frankly unbelievable (at the current time)... I'm trying to give you a chance to 'win us all to your side'... wouldn't that be your goal as a "teacher"? To instruct and inform so that folks can make a decision? Just wondering...

Well Mike... a couple of things... Regarding this "combative" issue... all I've ever done is ask... Regarding the "PFAL is God's Word reissued"... ummm why should I do that? YOU are the one that offered to explain it... are you backing out on that now? Regarding your current "teaching" on believing... Isn't God's word supposed to be simple? I don't recall veepee (or anyone else) coming out with all of these "elements" that must be in place or operated to enjoy a "promise of God"... Don't you think you're making it a little more complicated than God intended? You have an element there "Give God the glory"... what happened to "works for saint and sinner alike"?

That may be true... but Crash has certainly gotten rave reviews everywhere I've seen and picked up a few awards along the way... maybe there's a chance for it...

Don't you just love being reproved and told how to get your life right by some kid who might have a year or two of "standing with the ministry" under his belt? That's probably just as much a function of their youth as it is of being in TWI though (cutting some slack here). ...or maybe it was the shades John... they didn't realize you were on vacation at the time...

In addition to my comments above Mike, I'd point out that you don't have the right or authority to speak to me or any other poster that way. I've never tried to limit your ability to post or be here. You really don't own this space or this board... you only occupy it now and then... same as me and the others. If you want a place where you can exclude me or anyone else that may have questions about your "theology" then perhaps you should look elsewhere... that's just not how it works here.
