now now Belle (or Louise)... I don't think it was necessary to invoke "waybrain" on diazbro... just disagree with him... people were "reading between the lines" things that aren't(or are) there long before TWI came around...

ANYBODY EVER HEARD OF THIS GUY? FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY! THE TIME TRAVEL TALE OF JOHN TITOR Although there is debate over the exact date it started, on November 02, 2000, a person calling themselves Timetravel_0, and later John Titor, started posting on a public forum that he was a time traveler from the year 2036. One of the first things he did was post pictures of his time machine and its operations manual. As the weeks went by, more and more people began questioning him about why he was here, the physics of time travel and his thoughts about our time. He also posted on other forums including the now non-existent Art Bell site. In his posts John Titor entertained, angered, frightened and even belittled those who engaged him in conversation. On March 21, 2001, John Titor told us he would be leaving our and returning to 2036. After that, he was never heard from again. Speculation and investigation about who John Titor was and why he was online continues to this day. Although it may be easy to dismiss all this as science fiction, most people who read his posts agree that there is something very haunting about John Titor and what he said. In addition, and open to more debate, he also made a series of predictions and comments that eerily seem to be coming true. This from www.johntitor.com

I don't know... I come here because at some point you all were a part of TWI... there's a sort of kinship there in that we all shared similar experiences albeit at different times... I don't feel like I have any real 'anger' about TWI or it's different leaders, I have opinions though and some I feel more strongly about than others... others are free to have theirs as well, I may not agree with them and I may or may not tell them that I agree or disagree... most of the time I try to do it in a non-threatening way... but sometimes it just comes across that way... I think I see the same personalities here that I'd see anywhere in 'real life' so I don't get too hung up on some of the personality traits that I don't really care too much for... like in 'real life' I pretty much ignore them, sometimes I can't resist though and poke them with a stick... sometimes as punishment, sometimes just to see what they'll do. But then I'm guilty of doing that in 'real life' as well... To answer the "why are we all here? have we lost sight of it?" question (or at least I think it was a question) I don't remember coming here for any other reason than what I've mentioned earlier: because I have something in common with the folks here in that we were all in TWI at one point in time... and I found (and find) that unique because you could never explain TWI to someone who hadn't been involved and I respect that part of it... I don't think I came here for any sort of 'healing experience', at least not consciously, because I'd already been out for 20 years when I found GSC... but I have found 'healing' in areas that I wasn't aware of... just kind of happens, little light bulbs go on every now and then... With all of the personalities here there's going to be times when emotions are all over the place... sometimes skewed to anger, sometimes skewed to happiness, sometimes skewed to oblivious... folks are folks... here on the internet as they are in 'real life'... For me GSC is a virtual community I can come to and hang out with whom I choose... like anywhere else, there's places I know to avoid because (to me) "they're the bad part of town" or "they're the bullies" but that's no different than anything in life... I also think TWI "innies" can come here and find out a wealth of information exposing TWI's (seldom seen to them) dark side... regardless of whether or not they have to wade through our sniping and arguing... IF they want to see, they'll be able to see... Other than that I only have two questions: 1) Safari: don't your arms ever get tired? 2) Who wants snowcones?

hey! we've won 4 out of 5 and are only a game out in the wild wild west... I'll be glad when they get back off this trip... all of the games start and end so late... tonight Millwood vs Moyer... what kind of game will it be? between those two it could be a blow out (either way) or could be a pitcher's dual... THAT'S why they play the game!... Popoblam looks good so far!

Not that it really matters but... he (LCM) probably didn't use the clinical terms given the TWI penchant for avoiding psychology/psychiatry, etc... much easier to blame debbil spurts... so I don't know whether or not that could be an example of whether he did his coursework or not... excelled or didn't... heck, it could just be that he'd pretty much forgotten the terms because of "putting off the old man"... anyway, I don't think it's worth arguing over... so what the heck am I typing this for? (as always JMO)

Did The Way Int'l REALLY promote biblical research?

see... there's the "rub" if you will... they actually were the very thing they were claiming not to be, the very thing they were subversively setting you against.. it was very clever... -

WTH... I hardly think the facts concerning LCM would tip the scales of justice in his direction... regardless of whether someone chose to "focus" (your word) on his athletic career in college... The LCM who "led" TWI was also a lot different than the LCM that led FCA meetings at KU... but YOU didn't touch on that did you?

I think that's a "woman thing" CW... the "I wonder what he/she is thinking"... My wife is always asking me that... and my response generally is "I don't know... why do I care?"
