You're both right kind of... here's what I heard from a reliable source who has a sister who knew someone who had a cousin that was married to this person that actually had a friend who's brother was at both places... AND THEY SAID... that Simon & Garfunkel were just saying the phrase because the gathering in Central Park reminded them of Woodstock when Chip Monck said 'Don't eat the brown acid'... it was Chip Monck wasn't it?

It would be nice if we could all agree to disagree on things and leave it at that... but then the TWI folks would see people disagreeing there as well... It would be a kinder, gentler place... but that's cyberspace for you... no fear of retaliation... which in a way is good... I would think that if someone came here really looking for a reason to get out they'd still find it... but I'm also of the opinion that folks who come here from TWI have already pretty much made up their minds that 'something is wrong in Denmark' and are seeking validation or comraderie... and we certainly offer many different flavors of validation and comraderie!

I'll take the liberty of inserting 'you' in the question cuz that's what I think you're asking... I'm pretty sure that I'd 'talk to someone in person' the same way that I post... because that's how I try to post... sometimes there's a problem though in understanding the written/typed words versus the spoken/seen words... at least for me... Like you though... I do sometimes wonder if some posts would be as 'volatile' or 'invective' filled if we were in the same 'real life' cafe...

here's a funny thing... Kevin Mench (Shrek) had a hot spring but had been having "foot trouble" for the first couple of weeks... even flew back from the west coast for treatment (specifically toes)... they measured his foot and found he's supposed to wear a 12.5... he'd always told them he needed a 12 because that's what his foot measured the last time... WHEN HE WAS 15! Since changing shoes he's homered in the last 5 games... he is the team clown/prankster though so I'm sure he's getting a "ration" for it...

just another day in spring in paradise here... I bet you don't miss the tornadoes and thunderstorms...

and they've done that while Cordero is "taking leave"... blowing saves left and right... I don't know the reason, some of the sports talk shows around are floating the theory that "they weren't ready for the start of the season"... but... we're happy... for now...

I love the 1g flash drive... I got a Sony one about 6 months ago for about $59 (yeah, it was on spacial)... if you flip it over it compresses to 2g... I just store stuff on it or use it as I would the old floppies to carry stuff from one PC to the other (when the files are too big to email)... very handy though... and herbie... you can get "podcasts" you know!
