A lot of interesting points... we were doing pretty good against the NL until we hit San Fran... As far as the small market teams, at least those that are competitive, I think it just points to superior scouting and coaching... but in the end, they (we) are all just farm teams for the Yankees and Red Sox aren't we? I did hear something interesting regarding interleague play though... as long as they're going to continue it, why not make it (the interleague play) be the determining factor of which league gets to be the home team in the world series rather than the all star game? ...sounded like a good idea at the time. While I'm at it... coming up on July 10th The Science Channel is going to air a show called Baseball's Secret Formula that looks to be pretty interesting... thought I'd let you guys know if you didn't already...

Did twi simply shatter into a bunch of 'readjusted' twi's?

That's too bad goodseed... I'd suggest you keep trying though and eventually (hopefully) the 'shackles of PFAL and TWI' will leave you... As many know here I've long held that the majority of PFAL was spent putting down churches... more time telling us how wrong and evil "they" were and how right TWI was... that's a hard thing to break through, but you can, you can... -
I was thinking the same thing about the doc... I love the presentation though and they do an absolutely great job of casting don't you think?

...for those of you who don't know, when Reverend Tutts invokes the spirit and ministrey of Teek... well, let's just say there's some heavy revvy going down there... let them who have ears use these q-tips of righteousness given unto them this day by revelation..

Well, well... look at Raf... buying his tickets in advance??? I heard on the radio that it's better to re-watch (or watch) Superman 1 prior to seeing this... is that a fair assessment? (or did they mean S4?)

b-b-b-but they pulled her apart! ...I think here we see an example of the spirit of cartoon...

...they may 'volunteer' because it's nicer outside... that doesn't mean it's any bed of roses though...

no wonder Pedro has such a wicked curve... I think he's only got four fingers...
-
Search his name on youtube... there's a lot of his illusions there... one of them he walks across a swimming pool in Vegas with people swimming all around and under him...

I've heard that vacuuming "al fresco" will do that to you....

I haven't decided yet on the roast sweetniKa... as for the fouth, since no one can (legally) shoot any fireworks off down here (because of the burn ban from the drought) I'm thinking that maybe I'll get in an extra round of golf... ...of course, you know me, I probably would've done that anyway...

Is that Criss Angel ? There are a bunch of his videos on youtube... he is pretty a pretty good illusionist... ...and his name is Angel so he couldn't be bad...

do you mean really divorced? ...or just wishing you were?

The instructor's guide that I remember only contained basic guidelines... I really don't remember it being very "bulky" (yes, I do have CRS but I don't think it applies here), this was back in the 70's... I don't really remember even using an instructor's guide most of the time, why would one need to? ...most of us stood in the back lip-syncing along with veepee anyway... ...of course we never used chairs that were too comfortable and we always vacuumed and such... Maybe it had to do with where you were or who you were "under"... back then...

dang dooj... must be one heck of a pool party! you better come out of the water, your skin is starting to wrinkle...

Hearing and watching this guy, I always wished I could play guitar like him... I don't remember hearing y'alls thoughts on this guy... he's not a blues guitarist, but I've always thought he was quite good... at least to my unlearned ear...

all of these are so true... I suffer from most of them although I'm not an engineer... but was raised by a dad who had two engineering degrees... ...it's always driven my friends crazy that I always ask "why?"

...ahhh... ye of such sheltered lives... be thankful you never got caught in your younger, wilder days!

alas, there's not much to tell... he was just a 'regular Texas guy' :) ... friendly and unassuming, I didn't want to whip him with any 'starstruck' kind of talk... just the usual conversation that you'd have... I went out of my way not to bug him but I wish I'd talked to him more... like I said, very unassuming... as much as a guy wearing a leather hat, long stringy looking hair, and carrying his guitar... I do remember asking him "you're not checking that are you?" (like an idiot, about his guitar) and his response was something along the lines of "no way, she stays with me!"... his wife and some other guy were along as well... he mostly slept on the flight... he was on his way home... I was just a fan that didn't want to whip him... he wanted to relax, so I let him... it was kind of funny how inconspicuous he was... hardly anyone (we were in Philly) acted like they knew who he was... I was just kind of like "man, I love what you do, thank you"... sorry I don't have anything more exciting to share... he seemed like a nice guy... we were just folks going home to Dallas...

This from Wikipedia on SRV's equipment (you probably already know this): (thanks to you guys I know what some of that means!)

chain gangs serve a purpose... your tax dollars would likely have to pay for the labor that they were doing otherwise... we've got 'em here in Texas (and I'm pretty sure they're in other "midwest" states as well)... hey, if you've got free labor, use it! ...although it has nothing to do with rehabilitation, but then I don't think the prisons try to portray that it does... heh heh... then you probably should've just said "it seems backwards"... folks were just responding to your "Jim Crow" comment (which is entirely about race BTW)...that's all

Jade, Jade, Jade... what are we gonna do with you?!? here's one for you... Three third graders, a Catholic kid, an Italian kid and a Hillbilly kid are in the playground at recess. One of them suggests that they play a new game. "Lets see who has the largest weenie," he says. Okay." They all agree. The Catholic kid pulls down his zipper and whips it out. "That's nothing," says the Italian kid. He whips his out. His is a couple of inches longer. Not to be outdone, the Hillbilly kid whips his out. It is by far the biggest. That night, eating dinner at home, the Hillbilly kid's mother asks him what he did at school today. "Oh, we worked on a science project, had a math test and read out loud from a new book .. And dur ing recess, my friends and I played 'Let's see who has the largest weenie." "What kind of game is that, honey?" says the mother. "Well, me, Michael and Anthony each pulled out our weenies and I had the biggest! The other kids say its because I'm a Hillbilly. Is that true, Mom?" Mom replies, "No, Honey. It's because you're eighteen"

oh... some... but while I do think we got jobbed quite often during the series, there wouldn't be anything to worry about had we taken care of business in game 3, game 5 or game 6 (take your pick)...
