ahh... the 80's surface again!

If she can be convinced to come... she will certainly help you... (it's just how she is)... and everything she cooks is "Real Mexican"... right down to the home made tortillas...
-
be careful what you wish for... I might even be able to convince "she who must be obeyed" to come along as well... and then that means world class pico de gallo and quacamole (she is Mexican you know)...
-
hmmm... reminds me of a certain Dominican/American we all know...
-
Manny Mota played for the Dodgers didn't he?
-
well... he wasn't (isn't?) a baseball guy... as for Penny... ya think the all star game was his tryout for closer?
-
That doesn't sound too bad niKa... I think we'd take that down here... the day before yesterday it was 98 with a heat index of 105... of course that was at 10:20 PM... the high for the day was 112... we're supposed to get a cold front from you guys tonight and tomorrow's high is only supposed to be in the mid to upper 90's... ...if it was a "dry" heat like simonzeeloaded and rocky have it would be a little more bearable... maybe that's what yours was... "dry"...

John Wayne The Shootist Opie Taylor

That would make him one and one then wouldn't it? He did a pretty good job in Oakland for his first time around... there are other factors involved in the mix that might have been present in Oakland that weren't there in LA, how long was he in LA? ...takes a little time to develop, takes a manager that manages in sync with 'the plan' (see BoSox 2004), it takes ownership completely sold on the idea... even with all of that, sometimes things work, sometimes they don't... it's only a "theory"...
-
Tom Grieve (he's one of our announcers-and good BTW) was talking about it the other day, and it was getting a mention in the newspaper here today... "Rangers thinking"... his sure would be a nice (steady, productive) bat to add to this lineup but it'd probably be at DH, which it looks like he doesn't like... you never know who's telling the truth or if the player would act differently... but from the story you linked to it sounds like Zaunie has a problem with team mates attitudes while Shane thinks its the manager that's causing that... we'll see... We've got Adam Eaton scheduled to be coming back which we're all hoping is just like "adding pitching" so that we can go after a bat... I guess it's either passed or settled back down... should be good to go for golf tomorrow... it's only pain and I'm so used to much worse when my back goes out that I can get through it... it's not fun, but I can get through it... you just never realize how much it drains you until it takes you two days to recover...

Thanks, you're wonderful! You don't need to go to any trouble... if it works out to play it's no problem to 'walk on' and hook up with other folks...
-
something with four breasts in it?
-
I'm thinking that when you tie all of the "teachings" (demands?) for extra money in with the documented cases of intimidation (telling the whole group about people dying because they went somewhere without permission, threatening folks with death and bad things happening to them if they didn't do exactly as TWI told them), stepping out from under "the hedge of protection"... then... that would be "undo influence" being exercised...
-
yeah... I was watching till I fell asleep (I was up most of the night entertaining a kidney stone)... I see that's how the score ended up... oh well... DeRosa's day in the field... chit happens... I was surprised we got to Schilling a little bit... On your research I'll give you one shining example: Hank Blalock.

yes it was

well it's an afternoon game today as well... and it won't be 1-0!
-
could be kind of like a "taxi" song...
-
b-b-b-but that whole time they were taking my money that were telling me they weren't! :)
-
What if TWI also taught that THEY WEREN'T A RELIGION???
-
Again... my thanks to you all so far... Groucho do you (or anyone else) have anything like that from TWI on tape, in written form, etc? I'd love to be able to nail that one down... thanks again!
-
Of course it's not a problem... and in that case I'll guess... hmmm ... something written by Jim Stienman Two out of three ain't bad... sung by Meat Loaf (real name Marvin Aday, from Dallas) And now... a four word clue to one of the seminal songs of my generation: CALL OUT THE INSTIGATOR
