Were there any actual Biblical Scholars in TWI?

so... have we figured out whether (while in) any of the folks had received any education outside of PFAL? I get that John S is taking/has taken some since... -

George Bush goes to a primary school to talk to the kids to get a little PR. After his talk he offers question time. One little boy puts up his hand and George asks him his name. "Stanley," responds the little boy. "And what is your question, Stanley?" "I have 4 questions: First, why did the USA invade Iraq without the support of the UN? Second, why are you President when Al Gore got more votes? Third, whatever happened to Osama Bin Laden? Fourth, why are we so worried about gay-marriage when half of all Americans don't have health insurance?" Just then, the bell rings for recess. George Bush informs the kiddies that they will continue after recess. When they resume George says, "OK, where were we? Oh, that's right question time. Who has a question?" Another little boy puts up his hand. George points him out and asks him his name. "Steve," he responds. "And what is your question, Steve?" "Actually, I have 6 questions: First, why did the USA invade Iraq without the support of the UN? Second, why are you President when Al Gore got more votes? Third, whatever happened to Osama Bin Laden? Fourth, why are we so worried about gay marriage when half of all Americans don't have health insurance? Fifth, why did the recess bell go off 20 minutes early? And sixth, what the heck happened to Stanley?"

Yeah.. I was thinking it was sounding rather Indiana Jones-ish...

GSG... here's some ointment, I'm sure you're getting chaffed 'down there' since your... "Five to One" and "The Door's" were both mentioned since the clue was given... sorry, didn't mean to leave you out in the cold.

NRPS was principally made up of Captain Trips and the boys wasn't it? at least in the beginning? I'm thinking I went with Poco back around that time...

cool dave... I enjoy driving as well... although all that you're going to see between there and Houston is flat land... besides all you have to do it take I-35 south and then take I-45 south out of Dallas... ex10 is on the far north side of Houston so you won't have to mess with their traffic much... if you're coming through Dallas at the right time, you can stay overnight here... there are others on the way as well (Topeka, Oklahoma City) that might let you park your car at their house for a few hours...

All right then, I don't believe we've had one from this group yet: Time is never time at all You can never ever leave without leaving a piece of youth And our lives are forever changed We will never be the same The more you change the less you feel

TalkingDoll: I never even bought any of their stuff, though I listened to it now and then on the radio... it wasn't as though I ever really gave them a chance though because since Grateful Dead music always lulled me to sleep I 'passed the same judgement' on to them... ...and I'm not leaving... ...although I do feel like a short nap is in the offing...

Wishbone Ash! ...thanks for the memory jogger Lingo... I had their first three albums (don't recall why I lost interest in them after that, oh yeah, a cult I got into discouraged that sort of thing)... They were from the UK and were one of the first groups to have twin lead guitarists IIRC... good stuff indeed!

dave... unless you're just wanting to drive forever and ever, and see the countryside... it would probably be cheaper, given the price of gas, to fly...

Four United States Presidents get caught up in a tornado and off they whirled to the land of OZ. They finally made it to the Emerald City and went to find the Great Wizard. "What brings the 4 of you before the great Wizard of Oz?" Jimmy Carter stepped forward timidly and said: "I've come for some courage." "No Problem! said the Wizard Who ' s next? " Richard Nixon stepped forward, "Well, I think I need a heart." "Done! says the Wizard. Who comes next before the Great and Powerful Oz?" Up stepped George W and said, "I'm told by the American people that I need a brain." "No problem! said the Wizard. Consider it done." Then there is a great silence in the hall. Bill Clinton is just standing there, looking around, But he doesnt say a word. Irritated, the Wizard finally asks, "Well, what do you want?" Bill says: "IS DOROTHY HERE?"

b-b-b-but they weren't allowed to use 'revelation'... they had to use string, unless it was a tile floor... so a laser would be quicker and easier I'd think (plus you could shine it around the room during the teaching) I've often wondered if I could "anonymously" go to a twig around here just to see what it's like, at least without them figureing out who my sis and bro in law are... probably could, I think way to much of myself!

Belle, I know "rubes" (plural of 'rube')... it's the person being taken advantage of in a scam, syn would probably be simpleton, dolt, yahoo, etc. OK... here's what wikipedia.org says: "Rube is short for Reubens. Reubens is a word that first appears in "Tramping with Tramps" by J. Flynt in 1899 to describe farmers or rural people from Iowa. Over the years the word has taken on a connotation of one who is easily duped, a sucker." And among other things (that we can't say here) a berk is British slang for "a fool"... I'm sure that's what WW meant... (I'll have to remember that word)
