Here's a new one... it should go quickly... (editorial aside: there's a lot of 'wisdom' in the words of this song... or is 'truisms' the word I'm looking for?) These times are so uncertain Theres a yearning undefined And people filled with rage We all need a little tenderness How can love survive in such a graceless age?

What the heck... it's "Tonight, Tonight" by The Smashing Pumpkins. Time is never time at all You can never ever leave without leaving a piece of youth And our lives are forever changed We will never be the same The more you change the less you feel Believe, believe in me, believe Believe that life can change That you're not stuck in vain We're not the same, we're different tonight Tonight, so bright Tonight And you know you're never sure But you're sure you could be right If you held yourself up to the light And the embers never fade in your city by the lake The place where you were born Believe, believe in me, believe Believe in the resolute urgency of now And if you believe there's not a chance tonight Tonight, so bright Tonight We'll crucify the insincere tonight We'll make things right, we'll feel it all tonight We'll find a way to offer up the night tonight The indescribable moments of your life tonight The impossible is possible tonight Believe in me as I believe in you, tonight Very influential band in the 90's, the band is nothing without the leader/songwriter, Billy Corgan.

I don't want to seem "cold" although I probably will... but I'm waiting to hear "the rest of the story" on this... hopefully, the murderer who took the young girl's life has been caught...

My feeling is that they're a necessary evil to some and a useful tool to others... and sometimes also serve to raise the level of self-importance of even others...

I think a lot of it has to do with TWI. They picked and picked thus we picked and picked... and still pick... sometimes.

Here's a little more: Time is never time at all You can never ever leave without leaving a piece of youth And our lives are forever changed We will never be the same The more you change the less you feel Believe, believe in me, believe Believe that life can change That you're not stuck in vain We're not the same, we're different tonight The next line would give away the title.

Were there any actual Biblical Scholars in TWI?
Tom Strange replied to markomalley's topic in About The Way
Allan, I think the question being asked here (that most everyone else seems to understand) is not "was veepee good or bad, right or wrong"... it's did TWI have anyone who was taught "outside of PFAL"... We see it happen here all of the time, people use one of the "PFAL maxims" to define or test a thought... the point being, if only PFAL taught logic is used to define the meaning of something, if only PFAL taught methods are used to explain things, do you really have a clear picture of anything? ...or do you simply have PFAL? ...which often times asks the thinker to suspend logic and throw away centuries of teaching because it doesn't agree with the logic of PFAL... (which is repeating, I guess, what WW and others just said)
