Belle, if you still partake, try my recipe (it's real easy, use milk instead of water, throw in a couple of eggs (or is it egg whites?))... we used to call the effects of having eaten brownies a "body stone" in that the high you eperienced was more complete and lasted longer than smoking... at least it seemed that way at the time...

I've got no problem with folks "taking a little time" here and there... if they're good, they make it up somewhere else... it's gotta be a give and take kind of thing... if it's all one way, either for the worker or for the business, I've found it's not real good for anyone...

a lot of people put wine in theirs... I always just put water... and NEVER drank it... can you say gross? now, my brownies just had a slight lingering after taste... of course, I never made them with skunk...

I think he's got a good point... I've said it before, think of all the wars and bloodshed that wouldn't have happened if not for organized religion... ...and I don't see anything intolerant in his remarks... but that's just me...

I think RR has said what's on my mind... I was just thinking "cripes, can't anyone make a post without someone reading something into it and making a big deal out of it?" ... kind of reminds me of those folks that feel like they just have to correct others spelling or grammar... what's the point? does it make you feel good to do that? anyway...

or maybe you could just go to a website that has recipes already on it? one thread is just fine, I think... or paw can make a forum called "Recipes from the Greasespot Cafe Kitchen"...

well... maybe "honorable mention" myseestorex! if we put him in the HofF then it'll go straight to his head! And then what will become of the people of the fair burg that he lives in? He'll start hanging out at all of the hoity toity places and then they'll see his picture on the society page and say "why look! there's simon! we knew him when"... so, like Bill Parcell's says... "let's not put him in Canton yet"... ...but it was a very humorous post my friend!

Psalmie... that post was from last year... maybe you posted it then? I just resurrected dave's thread from last year rather than starting one all over...

that brings back memories Sushi! my recipe was simple: a box of Duncan Hines brownie mix, always use eggs and milk so they won't be dry, and a lot of "shake"... the fine stuff that won't tast gritty or leafy as you're eating them...

brownies? I baked some and took them to my first period art class when I was a senior in high school... all the kids knew me and wanted some, I even told the teacher (she was cool and had a kid that was in my grade) but she didn't want to believe me... she didn't eat one, but they didn't make it through the class...

oh well... since everyone seems to know that Peter Green wrote it we'll let the next one be a new clue... go ahead and answer the new one waysider...
