  1. WOW... they called you "Oldiesman" even way back then??? ...and you were only 20??? Obviously you were a head of your time!

now Rascal! ...there's a big difference there and you know it... ESPECIALLY with the two tests you mentioned, they're naturally occuring by-products of being a human... carrying a gun is not. I'm sure your friend would be able to get a permit under that system, fearing for your safety and the safety of your loved ones wouldn't be a deal breaker IMO... I'd probably wager it would be the number one reason for having a permit and a gun... On the other hand, my sister in law "just wants one"...

Touche' CW... my sister in law (the sister of 'she who must be obeyed') wants to get a permit and a gun... believe me when I tell you that she is the last person on earth that should even be anywhere near a gun... even if it has no bullets... yet, there are no psychological tests that are required to gain a permit... though for the life of me I can't understand why... it seems to me that there should be some sort of psychological test so that a profile can be established... If she gets a permit, I'm going to have to seriously consider moving far, far away...
  4. Thank you for your perspective Tzaia... I haven't 'known' any of the folks for years (or some at all), but as I've been trying to view this situation with (what I feel is) an unprejudiced eye, your post above is pretty much about how I envisioned things were... except that I don't feel that it's the result of an employee retaliating for being dismissed which I kind of picked up from your post (was I wrong?) ... Did I also pick up that you're pretty much minimalizing KA's influence in all of this? From what I've heard, her involvement has not been 'minimal'... of course, we've only 'heard' one side of the story but it does speak volumes... but we have heard a few tales from that side. Regardless, and I'm not meaning to focus on just one small part of your post, you come to the same conclusion that a lot of us have: "They ALL were 'out there', and quite willingly." Which is why I still maintain these folks, the board, should ALL resign their positions.
  5. OK... it's from 'The Journey'... on Rick Wakeman's solo "Journey to the Center of the Earth"... isn't it? Big fan of Wakeman, Yes, etal...

Belle, I apologize profusely for anything I may have ever said to you that you may have taken offense to! :)
  7. Which makes me wonder why ANY SUPPORTER OF CES/STFI WOULD WANT ANYBODY FROM THAT "INNER CIRCLE" RUNNING THINGS...
  8. That's why I asked Shellon the question. I understand where you're coming from, never doubted it.
  9. You assume correctly sir... you do get out of the lab every now and then doncha?!?
  10. niKa, while John S may still in fact "have his head screwed on" straighter than the others, it would still be off-kilter in my opinion... like others have said, and I've said since all of this first came up: THEY'RE ALL COMPLICIT... they were all there, allowing this and participating in this... so, IMO, they're not to be entrusted anymore... they've used up their turn... ALL OF 'EM... CAP'N CRUNCH: do you have any information for us today?
  11. One of the saddest things about this, and there are a number of sad things, is that the donations of their supporters are going to end up paying all of the legal fees... deja vu all over again... only I don't imagine the CES/STFI well is as deep as TWI's... this will probably result in the end of it all for CES/STFI... Great thinking Board (and JAL)... take it all down with you as you go... THAT'S REAL HEART... freaking jerks, fargging iceholes, despicable. They (the Board, present and past and JAL) should be ashamed of themselves... I do feel sad for all of our "guests" that have had to learn about this travesty over here... but I'm glad you have learned about it before investing too much more of your life with these folks... I feel sad that they've let you down again, and have been letting you down for some time...
  12. If you look closely, you can see OldiesMan on the deck of this cruise ship... as it sails on da nile...
  13. ...don't forget to put the cayenne in your shoes to keep your feet warm! I wish they'd had Gore-Tex when I went L.E.A.D.

  15. UGH! ...a movie (the Notebook) by that guy! (no offense CalDreamer, he just writes such girl stuff!)
  16. Yeah... I don't buy them either... 'she who must be obeyed' has a nice large one on her finger, but it was passed down from her mother... I buy her those manmade ones... I forget the name but it's not CZ... that are much more brilliant than diamonds... but they're still pretty pricey... I've never liked the fact that the diamond market is so fake, so manipulated and controlled... the next diamond we own will be one we find in Arkansas probably... BUT.. it's a very good movie... and when it was over I turned to 'she who must be obeyed' and said: "DiCaprio should win an oscar for this"... (of course, I said that about Will Smith's kid, too... after that movie)
