Ya know, I have seen the names of ordained men here whose names were not entirely "written out". You know, with blank spaces or asterisks in place of certain letters, but their "coded names" were not deleted. The allegations remained with their names mostly intact in order to "help us all". Why not the same with women clergy and leaders? One of the ordained women mentioned here tried to seduce me in the "sewing dept trailer" at hq while I was there to get my pants hemmed. She took a very long time measuring my inseam", much to my half confusion as well as male delight, and she flat out asked me to take them off right there in front of her so she could fix them, with a sly grin on her face, knowing full what had occurred to me physically as I was standing there. But, I decided that, as a graduating Corps guy, I should not have sex with this ordained woman who was clearly very horny and wanting some sex. And so, I just told her that I had to go, and then I left. I was pretty confused, really, because I just didn't think it was right, with her being a Reverend and all. Part of me thought it was WAY OK (which part? ;)-->), but with what I thought I knew about God and His Word, I didn't think it was right. But if I mentioned her name with asterisks and all, it would be deleted. If I said just her first name in light of this incident, it would probably be deleted. But if there was a reversal here, and men's names were mentioned (coded w/ asterisks) And I've seen it before, would there be such censorship? I have seen in the past where this is not the case, such as the name "Howie". Geez, could that be H*wie Y*r*mian? Senior or Junior? Hey things happened the way they happened, and if there were women guilty of the same things that many of the men did, then so be it. If this is supposed to be a "forum of honesty" then it should remain that way, with no favoritism concering gender...

Well, it seems as if the Amazing Sea Monkeys on Mars thread will now drift back into oblivion. I guess like all things, it served it's purpose as far as light (and sometimes heavy) entertainment goes. I still crack up when I think about how one of our Amazing Sea Monkey Brothers brewed up a batch of Amazing Sea Monkeys in his Catholic church's holy water supply tank. That incident just kils me... But anyway, this thread will now drift away into Amazing Sea Monkey history...

Was [name deleted] one of the club? It's hard to imagine that mean little wench giving up the booty to anyone. I know she later married and had a baby, so, at least she did it that one time...

Tom Strange, it's Amazing how it all seems to fit together huh? And to think that there was an OLM in the form of Mickey Dolenz at such a Gathering of influential people! It seems in the picture as if OLM Dolenz is just grinning at us to let us know that he was "all over it" and that the Prince himself would soon be "in the know...." And.. Aww Dozer, so sorry. But remember, there is no comdemnation, for your husband was only doing his best to make them more comfortable. He had their best interests at heart... And by the way Dozer, welcome to the GSCafe! I know that this is a long thread, but you might catch up on it a bit, for, it seems as if you too are one of the enlightened ones, but are only beginning to find out about your Gift..

Excellent!! And, why does Michael Jackson like twentyeight year olds so much? Because there are twenty of them!! And Just Loafing- What happened to the baby seal that walked into the club?
-
Aha! And so, I just wanted to say that there is a website that a Way Corps grad has who is now gainfully employed in his own business as an art broker. His name is I.W., and there is a picture of him there with none other than Mickey Dolenz of the "Monkeys" sitting on his very shoulder! And to me, that is Amazing! I will try to find that website, post it here so you can see the photo, and then maybe someone smarter than me can post the actual photo right here at the hallowed Amazing Sea Monkeys On Mars thread. I will now make my search and proceed to entangle the entire area!

Hey! Leave Tick out of this! He was a fine friend, and my (now dead) dog's Grandfather! At least the dogs can remain sacred, for they deserve it, being just dogs who are dumb enough to love anybody without strings attached. You know how they are.... Why, my dogs even love me! :)-->

I really laughed about the one concerning Bush, Cheney, and anginas...LMAO...

What does Michael Jackson and caviar have in common? They both come on a little white cracker! Eauuwww! Sorry 'bout that. Kinda gross, but.....funny!

Wow Nandon. That's really deep. Glad your Dad 'n Mom had the cojones to put your family first, which in my opinion is the same as putting God first. It's hard for me to believe that The Way got that mean and ugly, and really, down right evil. But I do believe it, and I do not doubt your words at all. Dr. Wierwille said before he died that LCM would lash out and hurt people badly, and this happened as sure as yer born. I remember Dr. Wierwille reamed my a$$ for being disrespectful to my Mom who had no inclination to be a part of The Way. She was (and is) a staunch Presbyterian, and he told me that I should never allow myself to disrespect my family and allow a wedge to be driven between me and my folks. I know, I know, it sounds contrary to so many of the harsh things we have heard that he did to others, but that was the way he was with me, and I was very "low level" if you will, and it wasn't as if my Mom and Dad had lots of money or anything, something he could hope to capitalize on through manipulation. It's all kind of weird, really, because he was kind to me, and even in public meetings, he seemed to promote unity with our families, unlike the crapola that I have read about after he was gone and Craig took over and began his wicked purgings and homo hunts. Your folks sound like great people, and so do you. How long were your folks "in"? Jonny Lingo

Can any one ressurect The Amazing Sea Monkeys thread and bring it to the fore? I looked, but I couldn't find it. Surely the moderators would not have thrown this sacred thread upon the dung heap!!

My Strange Friend Tom! I know you come here fairly often. I just wanted to alert you to the new and wonderful revelation that has been found concerning The Amazing Sea Monkeys over on the last page of the "Famous PFAL Graduates" thread in the "About The Way" forum. It will blow your mind!!

Whatever happened to the Amazing Sea Monkey thread? We must post this new revelation there! Socks! I.W. knew man, he KNEW!!!

Ok Oakspeare. Glad It was a misunderstanding. Sorry if I am a bit slow...So what did you mean?

Hey Oak. That "chick in the sailor suit" was to me nothing less than an angel of God. It was a beautiful thing man, and there was nothing carnal about it, ever...

Oh NiKa, The saying; "That was from the Pit" was what seemed to be to me a very common saying amongst we Wayfers in our twigs and branches on the field if anything "went wrong". To say; "That was from the Pit" was the same as saying; "That was from the devil", or; "That was from the Pit of Hell". You know, if some new person coming to twig who had interviewed for a job but didn't get it because some "Rank Un-Believer" (RUB) got it, then, that outcome was "from the Pit!"

What is the best way to lose weight (and quickest)?
J0nny Ling0 replied to waterbuffalo's topic in Open
I haven't read much of this thread. But, I just wanted to say that for men, the answer is: Atkins! I lost 47 pounds the first go round, and only gained back 14 pounds after four years. Then, about two months ago, I started it again and have lost twenty pounds and am still dropping. I feel great, my joints and muscles feel better, and I have had no allergy symptoms since I did Atkins the first time, which is one of the side benefits he mentions in his book. And Brothers, it is truly a Man's Diet!! But if you try it, make sure to read the book, understand it, and then follow it to the "T", or, it won't work or be as healthy for you... I'm not going to debate this with anyone, for to me, it is totally logical and makes total sense and has been the only thing that has really worked for me, as well as countless others. So, Try it! You'll like it!!! -
Hey there BluzieQ. Nice of you to post here. I got in The Way when I was 18. And ya know, I am glad of my involvement with it. I had been to sea as a Merchant Marine for a couple of years, been overseas alot, and was the survivor of a near sinking in the North Atlantic during a terrible storm. A story in itself. But during that time of terror, I prayed to God that we could live and finally make it to a safe haven, which we did. We made it to Bermuda where we promptly got very drunk for a couple of days. But I had not forgotten my promise to God that I would seek out others who believed in Him, should I have the chance to live. And, not long after that, while working on a riverboat/restaurant on the Potomac River in DC, I prayed again. I lived in the wheelhouse of this boat, and one night after a lot of soul searching I got on my knees and prayed to God and promised Him that I would keep my promise to Him and go to the church or whatever of the next Christian person I met. "You send 'em" I told Him, and "I would go with them". I was tired of the worldliness of the World, and I wanted to be around people who cared about the things of God, about the things that mattered instead of just "things". The very next day, while readying the Cruise Ship Dandy for our luncheon cruise, a radiant young woman came walking down the dock toward our gangway. She had on the cute blue and white sailors skirt and top that all of our cocktail waitresess wore, so I knew that she must be a new hire. Yes, she was a pretty red head, but there seemed to be something about her that was different. She seemed to have a shine, or an "aura" about her if you will. As I gave her a hand up the gangway, I said; "Welcome aboard the Cruise Ship Dandy m'amm", And she said; "Hya! My name's Ann Marie! What's your name?" And I said; "My name's Kevin, what's your name?" And she said brightly; "Ann Marie!" Well, I felt really stupid to repeat my name twice, but, I was captivated by her evident glow of life, and since she seemed to have a New york accent, I asked her where she was from. She proceeded to tell me that she was from Rochester, New York, but that she had just come from Ohio to teach people about the "accuracy of God's Word and about the power of God". Well, this just blew my mind! I asked her if she also meant Jesus Christ, and she oh yes, defininetly. And then I told her in excitement that I had prayed to God the night before, on my knees that if He would send me a Christian person, I would go to their church, and, I continued; "Here you are!" To which she replied; "I was just praying in this park nearby to send someone to me who wants to know about God's Word, and here you are! And we both embraced, and I got all choked up, and I sat her down at the bar and began to pour my heart out to her, and the rest is history. Now BlueseyQ, my point is this; There is no question in my mind that God had something to do with this. I prayed, and His response was swift and wonderful. My initial time in The Way was filled with wonderful times, great people, and many many incidents where God answered prayers and questions. It was good at that time, regardless of what was going on at the top. And Sunesis has mentioned that there were wonderful times then as well, and as a matter of fact, she knows the gal Ann Marie, who first "witnessed to me". And so, was God involved in it? Some here will say no and that it was all and totally a scam, and that we were all stupid and just a bunch of suckers who took the bait like a catfish on a glob of worms. I for one do not hold that opinion, for there were too many acts of God found with that bunch that I shall never forget nor regret. Do these things that I and many of us saw and experienced validate and exonerate The Way Ministry entirely? No, I would not conclude that. But for many of us, in our quest for Truth and enlightenment, it was exactly the place for us to be at the time we were there. I believe that I and my wife left at the right time, and that some who stayed then became sucked into the growing legalism and power trips that became more and more manifest. As far as the things that Sunesis spoke of concerning the "dominance" over women, I didn't particularly see it, for, being a young man, I didn't feel it because I was/am a man. It wasn't directed at me, so I didn't feel it. But she is right, it was there even back then, as I look back on it. In fact, Sunesis is an awesome guitar player. I mean world class and on the level with Beck, (Jeff Beck that is) Clapton, Stevie Ray and the rest. But, when a new guy named Harvey Platig came to Twig, who played very well, every one was all hyped up over how well Harvey played, as if Sunesis didn't exist. I saw this, but didn't think too much of it then, for, I was so idealistic, I didn't think anyone ever thought anything amiss. And so, I missed it. but I imagine that it was somewhat of a snub for Sunesis. Oh well, just food for thought. I will say that I will never ever doubt that it was God who answered my prayer that day, and that He led me to the right place at that time in my life... Pray for your folks. They need it, and remember that being forgiving is what our lord Jesus asked us to be. Certainly he went through the worst, and if he could live through it, then so can we. God bless you BluzieQ, and hey! I love your name!
